Jaipur Indian Restaurant in Burnley

We were staying in a hotel not too far away and chose this one courtesy of Google maps. It's a good job we booked in advance as this place is very busy. When we sat down at 6.30pm on a Friday night it was at their last available table. It's only a small place and the tables are quite close together. It was a bit loud for us foggies but with a friendly vibe, however I am not sure I would choose it for a romantic occasion. Considering how busy it was together with a hectic take away trade the service was surprisingly quick. We had an extra poppadom which hasn't happened for a long time, and the chutney tray was excellent. We had our usual sheekh kebab which was very tasty, not overly warm but that's often the case. Our waiter noticed that we had shared our starter, we always do as we struggle to eat our mains at the best of times. He then said 'you are going a la carte' then? I was confused. Chicken balti and chicken garlic chilli chicken with plain rice. I prefer pilau we don't do food colouring, plus chips and a garlic and coriander naan. All was very good but the flavour of both of the curries had a slight hint of what seemed like a pickle or vinegar. I enjoyed mine but the wife was less keen. We didn't get to see a drinks list but Kingfisher suits me and the wife was pleased they had a merlot. The bill came and it was a bit more expensive than expected but it was then I wondered if there was on offer on that we weren't aware of, if so I'm a bit miffed. Perhaps that would also explain it being so busy. Parking was a bit of a pain but worth the effort.

Went as a family of 8, one very rude staff member in a white shirt, demanding payment for drinks when we’re trying to eat our meal, door constantly opening & closing when eating! very slow service, to say such a small restaurant you’d expect the service to be quick but they seem to concentrate on delivery’s more, food bland, wouldn’t return!

Was really looking forward to having a family birthday meal .Our table was booked for 5 o'clock has soon has my daughter arrived she was told we had to have finished by 6 30 so they could have more people in .The food was quite nice but felt like it was thrown down our throats and didn't get chance to saviour the flavours or enjoy our time together

My wife and I decided to visit Jaipur Restaurant in Padiham for a sit-down meal, as we usually order online but fancied treating ourselves to the full dining experience. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel comfortable right away. We started with poppadoms and chutneys, which were fresh and flavorful – a great start to the meal. For starters, we chose the chilli lamb puri and meat samosas, both of which were cooked to perfection. The puri had just the right balance of spice and tenderness, while the samosas were crisp on the outside and packed with delicious, well-seasoned filling. For mains, we went with chicken biryani, lamb dopiaza, and garlic naan. The biryani was fragrant and full of flavor, and the lamb dopiaza was rich, hearty, and incredibly satisfying. The garlic naan was soft, buttery, and the perfect accompaniment to the meal. Every dish was clearly prepared with care, using fresh ingredients, and the flavors were outstanding. The service was equally impressive. The staff were courteous, friendly, and extremely attentive throughout our visit. They regularly checked in to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, but without being intrusive. It’s clear they take pride in delivering not just great food but also an exceptional dining experience. Overall, we couldn’t have been happier with our visit. The combination of amazing food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere made this a truly memorable evening. Jaipur has always been our go-to for takeaway, but after this visit, we’ll definitely be dining in more often. I specifically ask for food to be hot, it wasn't. I usually get salad with tandoori chicken, there was none. portions are very small

Jaipur is one of our favourite restaurants and takeaway, great choice and always good food at a high standard, staff are wonderful, the restaurant is clean and also they have fantastic offers on a regular basis, they never fail to give the best service whether it’s takeaway or dining in, just delicious at a really good price 😋

I placed an order for a single serving of curry. The delivery time was initially stated between 40-60 mins, but it was subsequently revised twice, resulting in a total wait time of one and a half hours. Upon arrival, the curry was lukewarm and, consequently, not particularly enjoyable.

The food was delicious & hot. We will definitely return but we didn’t receive all of our poppadoms we ordered 4 but only received 2.

It's always a pleasure to eat here. Food and service were excellent. Although could do with a bigger venue as it does get crowded when people arrive early as it makes you feel as if you are being pushed out to make way for new customers

Ourstanding food and fast to deliver. They wven called me up to ask if i can change my order time. Only because the time i put the restaurant would have bewn closed. No one else has done that. Would definitely recommend 👌 👍 🙂

A rather greasy meal with chopped up prawns! I ordered a king prawn meal and was served chopped up prawns, maybe to disguise the amount of prawns served. The meal was also swimming in ghee.

The service, food and surroundings were perfect I would recommend this restaurant to any of my friends.

All tho the food is of good quality and when called to see where are delivery was AFTER TWO HOURS we was offered 50% of next order, it was cold to the point we had to heat it up again. ( I ordered food because I didn’t wish to put the oven on 😂) 30 quid down the drain sorry to say not be ordering again

I ordered around 7.45p.m. Expected delivery time- 9.15-9.35. At 9.35, the app said it had been delivered but this wasn't the case. I called the restaurant at 9.38, I was informed it was on it's way and they said the driver set off 6 minutes ago. Around 9.55 my food hadn't arrived despite the restaurant being 5 minutes from my house. I text via the app, I received a text to say my order would be with us at 10.05. My order arrived almost 2 hours&20 minutes after I ordered which is unacceptable

Ordered food online at 19:20 because delivery would be before 20:00. Rang the restaurant at 20:45 as no sign of food. The person I spoke to was very rude and said 'tough'. Told me to complain to online delivery service. Food turned up 10 mins later, cold and one item at £4.75 not even sent. Had to microwave the food to heat it, and it was watery and bland. I WILL be complaining to BurnleyEats!! Avoid this place if you want warm, tasty food that arrives when promised!

We've been using Jaipur for our takeaway meals since we moved to the town just over a year ago. They really are a great restaurant and team with delicious, tasty food and excellent service. On the 1 occasion they made a slight error with one of our dishes, a driver was at my door within a few minutes with a new meal plus a complimentary bottle of wine and poppadoms! Fantastic customer service. Also, last night when ordering, I mentioned it was my birthday and to my surprise, I received a free starter plus lots of lovely little birthday notes on our food cartons!....a lovely little touch that made me smile lots😁 Thank you Jaipur, keep up the excellent work 😁😁 Jodie and Matt, Padiham.

A placed an order the food was good just didn’t get my ice creams at nearly a fiver a pop for them to not come, if ya can’t follow simple instructions you shouldn’t work there!

We have tried Jaipur delivery for years, but never made it to the restaurant until Friday night. We started our evening early with a trip to Padiham Beer Festival. After a few halves, we were hungry and decided to walk to Jaipur Restaurant for dinner. We were lucky to get a table in this very popular local place. A couple were just leaving as we arrived at about 8.50. We saw that there was an offer 2-4-1 starters and mains. Looking at the wonderfully varied menu we settled on Onion Bhaji and Prawn and Mango Puri to start. Absolutely delicious. The Bhaji were crisp and very tasty. The Puri was light and filled with prawns and a delicious sauce - first time tried for my husband who has a natural aversity to anything hot and/or spicy. Watching him enjoy those was terrific. He understood spice did not mean heat!! Our mains were for him; Vegetable Korma, and I requested a dish not on the menu ; Garlic Lamb Massala. My request was accepted immediately and I'm so glad I asked. It should be on the menu; lamb unctuous in a delicious sauce. They were accompanied by Onion Rice which we shared...so tasty. We ate every scrap and were pleasantly full. It was nice to be served by very happy waiters, and we noted how friendly all the staff were. We finished our meal and asked the staff to get us a taxi. We did not know that taxis are quite rare unless you have an app and can order via your phone. We were delighted when Les offered to drive us home. He got the car immediately and we were home within minutes. He would not accept a tip and stated he was pleased to be able to assist us with transport. For us, this was going over and above the expected customer service!! Thank you Les for your kind action. We would recommend Jaipur Restaurant for anyone looking for well above average, tasty Indian food. Thanks to everyone.

The magic starts in the kitchen and is enhanced by the professional and friendly front of house staff, no wonder customers que to eat here, food fantastic, staff friendly and helpful (ask for "Charlie") and their 3 course Sunday deal and mon - sat by-one-get-one-free deals on ALL starters and mains is yet another reason not to miss this place. well done, a great place to eat and relax. (and they serve a great IPA)

The worst food I’ve ever tasted in my life. The sauce on the tikka was hot but the chicken was warm, the nam bread was wet through and soggy, the rice was hard! The chips was so cold, dry and hard like they was cooked 3 days prior.

it was all a bit bland to be honest, and theres absolutely no need to put 15 birds eye chillies in a Naga that's already a hot dish, the chapattis went rock hard as soon as we took them out of the bag and the chips tasted like they'd been cooked multiple times either chewy or rock hard, im really disappointed as I've eaten in the restaurant and it just wasn't up to the same quality.
