Got a delivery on Sunday and thought I had to review because it was amazing, we’re all veggie and there’s plenty of options. food hot and really tasty will be ordering again soon also fab because not many places deliver to sabden massive thumbs up from us

The service, food and surroundings were perfect I would recommend this restaurant to any of my friends.

All tho the food is of good quality and when called to see where are delivery was AFTER TWO HOURS we was offered 50% of next order, it was cold to the point we had to heat it up again. ( I ordered food because I didn’t wish to put the oven on 😂) 30 quid down the drain sorry to say not be ordering again

I ordered around 7.45p.m. Expected delivery time- 9.15-9.35. At 9.35, the app said it had been delivered but this wasn't the case. I called the restaurant at 9.38, I was informed it was on it's way and they said the driver set off 6 minutes ago. Around 9.55 my food hadn't arrived despite the restaurant being 5 minutes from my house. I text via the app, I received a text to say my order would be with us at 10.05. My order arrived almost 2 hours&20 minutes after I ordered which is unacceptable

Ordered food online at 19:20 because delivery would be before 20:00. Rang the restaurant at 20:45 as no sign of food. The person I spoke to was very rude and said 'tough'. Told me to complain to online delivery service. Food turned up 10 mins later, cold and one item at £4.75 not even sent. Had to microwave the food to heat it, and it was watery and bland. I WILL be complaining to BurnleyEats!! Avoid this place if you want warm, tasty food that arrives when promised!

We've been using Jaipur for our takeaway meals since we moved to the town just over a year ago. They really are a great restaurant and team with delicious, tasty food and excellent service. On the 1 occasion they made a slight error with one of our dishes, a driver was at my door within a few minutes with a new meal plus a complimentary bottle of wine and poppadoms! Fantastic customer service. Also, last night when ordering, I mentioned it was my birthday and to my surprise, I received a free starter plus lots of lovely little birthday notes on our food cartons!....a lovely little touch that made me smile lots😁 Thank you Jaipur, keep up the excellent work 😁😁 Jodie and Matt, Padiham.

A placed an order the food was good just didn’t get my ice creams at nearly a fiver a pop for them to not come, if ya can’t follow simple instructions you shouldn’t work there!

Ordered at 7, initial delivery time 8:00, arrived at 8:45, had to call the restaurant twice to chase. Food was excellent and they kindly gave us some beers to say sorry, but waiting nearly 2 hours for food delayed us enjoying our Saturday evening

We have tried Jaipur delivery for years, but never made it to the restaurant until Friday night. We started our evening early with a trip to Padiham Beer Festival. After a few halves, we were hungry and decided to walk to Jaipur Restaurant for dinner. We were lucky to get a table in this very popular local place. A couple were just leaving as we arrived at about 8.50. We saw that there was an offer 2-4-1 starters and mains. Looking at the wonderfully varied menu we settled on Onion Bhaji and Prawn and Mango Puri to start. Absolutely delicious. The Bhaji were crisp and very tasty. The Puri was light and filled with prawns and a delicious sauce - first time tried for my husband who has a natural aversity to anything hot and/or spicy. Watching him enjoy those was terrific. He understood spice did not mean heat!! Our mains were for him; Vegetable Korma, and I requested a dish not on the menu ; Garlic Lamb Massala. My request was accepted immediately and I'm so glad I asked. It should be on the menu; lamb unctuous in a delicious sauce. They were accompanied by Onion Rice which we shared...so tasty. We ate every scrap and were pleasantly full. It was nice to be served by very happy waiters, and we noted how friendly all the staff were. We finished our meal and asked the staff to get us a taxi. We did not know that taxis are quite rare unless you have an app and can order via your phone. We were delighted when Les offered to drive us home. He got the car immediately and we were home within minutes. He would not accept a tip and stated he was pleased to be able to assist us with transport. For us, this was going over and above the expected customer service!! Thank you Les for your kind action. We would recommend Jaipur Restaurant for anyone looking for well above average, tasty Indian food. Thanks to everyone.

The magic starts in the kitchen and is enhanced by the professional and friendly front of house staff, no wonder customers que to eat here, food fantastic, staff friendly and helpful (ask for "Charlie") and their 3 course Sunday deal and mon - sat by-one-get-one-free deals on ALL starters and mains is yet another reason not to miss this place. well done, a great place to eat and relax. (and they serve a great IPA)

The worst food I’ve ever tasted in my life. The sauce on the tikka was hot but the chicken was warm, the nam bread was wet through and soggy, the rice was hard! The chips was so cold, dry and hard like they was cooked 3 days prior.

Brilliant staff, fantastic food must place to visit

it was all a bit bland to be honest, and theres absolutely no need to put 15 birds eye chillies in a Naga that's already a hot dish, the chapattis went rock hard as soon as we took them out of the bag and the chips tasted like they'd been cooked multiple times either chewy or rock hard, im really disappointed as I've eaten in the restaurant and it just wasn't up to the same quality.

Called the restaurant at 9:20pm to be told we are just cooking it. Erm why has it taken 1 hour and 35 minutes to start cooking! Wasn’t a big order a chicken tikka masala pilau rice chapatti two drinks and four poppodoms! When food arrived it the chappati tasted burnt and the mango chutney tasted off but the curry was okay! As new customers you would have thought they would at least try and give us a good experience but no I don’t think they want new customers! Won’t be ordering again SHAGOR all the way!

food delivered to next door in error, neighbour brought it round when they realised it wasn't theirs but poppadoms and chutneys not delivered at all

Late delivery and very burned onion fried rice, is the second time that i get burned onion fried rice. First time i thought it was a one off … but clearly wasn't not sure why they send the rice out in that state even tested burned. Currys were fine and i used to like this place a lot but i wont be ordering again.

The whole Incident was handled incredibly well ,the lad on the phone understood my concerns and showed sympathy and a grate deal of empathy,I've finally got a well deserved weekend off and fancied a pay day treat, My food order was taken the chap on the phone remembered me i was given a reasonable time frame for delivery however it was delivered very quickly ,,it's piping hot and most certainly upto the high standard of catering I've become accustomed to The delivery guys are always polite ,kind ,chatty, and courteous,the whole experience is a pleasure. Thank you for continuing culinary excellence, jalpur, and thank you for your wonderful gesture this evening. My next journey is to come sit down and enjoy a curry at your restaurant 😋

Was impressed with the young man serving. Polite and helpful. And food was ready in good time. I took my food away. Tikka masala really tasty. But the chicken tikka in naan bread was very tasteless. Not put off but I wouldn't order that particular item again. The service was excellent.!

I’m very been going to the restaurant and receiving food for a long time. I have to say that was very disappointing and was probably one of the worst curries I’ve ever had. The rice was hard and very watery and tasted off. The curry which was a chicken dopiaza was very tasteless and watery. It tasted off and was very unpleasant. I have to say this is not the usual standard from you and I’m very disappointed.

I'm not one to post reviews on this site but I can't praise the Sunday special enough. The staff were superb, the food was spot on & the value for money can't be beaten. Tried a Garlic Chicken Chaat for a starter. Wow. I won't forget that in a hurry. The mains were also top drawer. Washed down with a pint or two of Kingfisher.

Our go to Indian takeaway. We've ordered from Jaipur more times than I care to admit, and it's been perfect every time. I've tried most of the chef special currys and they are tremendous. Our latest order was last night and I opted for a chicken Tikka Jalfrezi. It was by far the best takeaway curry I've ever had. Can't beat the complementary poppadoms and dips too! There can be a short delay on the rare occasion however the food is always work the wait. Would recommend!

Lovely staff, but the karahi was a bit underwhelming.

All I asked for was cutlery and no onions. I got no cutlery and onions in literally EVERYTHING. They even sent a side container full of onions. So after a 4 hour drive to the hotel, no dinner before my appt. Awesome. 🤦‍♂️

Food arrived early and hot! The samosas were packed full of meat and very tasty. The chicken in the curry was tender and tasty and lots of it. The sauce was spicy but a great depth of flavour. Really enjoyed my meal.

Ordered it at 18:56 arrived at 21:00. So 2 hours is not good when you’ve got hungry kids and it’s approaching their bed time. The food was good and it arrived warm.

My husband had chilly lamb starter, main lamb jalfasia with garlic nan, I had chicken tiaka starter, shamba chicken main with chapatti, all dishes really good, first time visited, will definitely go again soon.

A fantastic little gem of a restaurant. Amazing chicken spinach, tandoori chicken and balti . Light and delicate chapatis and naans with an authentic selection of rice and sides. Not to be missed if your within 10 mins.

I've heard great things about this place, so I thought I'd give it a try. Sadly, I don't think I saw it at its best. Ordered on Mother's day, I expected it to be busy - but a two hour delay is beyond reasonable. By the time it got here, the Lamb Madras was tepid, and the Pilau was lukewarm - did the driver get lost? Had to microwave it sadly. I also ordered Keema Naan (pictured), which looked absolutely reprehensible. Flavourless, soggy, and lazily cooked - it's hard to tell what made it a Keema Naan at all. Post-microwave, I finally got to tasting the curry. The Lamb was cooked perfectly - and tasted delicious and tender. The Madras however, was significantly underwhelming. I get it's supposed to be spicy, but it completely lacked any other flavour. The spice itself didn't even have any flavour - just a hot bath of curry sauce. Did they try to mask the fact it lacks any depth of flavour by just dousing it in spices? Or did they just rush and forget to add anything else? Very disappointing - if the lamb wasn't as good as it was, it probably would've been a 2 star overall. As for the rice, it's just Pilau rice. Nothing special, nothing different. Pretty hard to mess up. A nice addition was the free poppadoms and mango chutney, not sure if this is standard practice or just as a "sorry for taking so long". Either way they were alright. Overall, it cost £12.92 excluding delivery (£2), service charge (£0.50), and bag charge (£0.10). Alright price in all I guess, considering it's enough to feed two people. Overall, will I return? Maybe. From the many great reviews and recommendations, it seems I caught them on a bad day. I'll probably visit instead next time, and eat in. It's a shame this experience was so poor though.

Delivery was awful last night, 2 and a half hours from ordering time when this wasn't the guideline prior to ordering. I called the restaurant numerous times who said it was just around the corner. The delivery driver advised it was the kitchens fault! Resulting in cold food! Terrible from a normally terrific restaurant.

Called at 19:54 as just eat said the order had been delivered at just after 19:45, but I hadn't received the order they said ot would be here in the next 5-6 minutes but it was nearly 20:15p.m., the food was nice but was only just warm.
