Havent eaten in so cant star atmosphere..but the take aways are brilliant

Food all wrong and iber an hour late

Good service throughout our visit. Fred makes the experience more enjoyable, so welcoming, friendly and such a nice guy!

First time trying the food here and was not disappointed. Had the 2 course Sunday lunch. Pork was a large chunk, excellent variety of trimmings, quality Yorkshire mash and roast potatoes. I'm glad I was hungry else I wouldn't have finished. Followed up with stick toffee pudding. Again a large portion but was very light, clearly made with dates and lashings of custard. Beer was fine but the ales rotate so sometimes difficult to keep a beer you like on repeat visits.

As always , warm and friendly staff and owners. Fabulous food, fish, chips, mushy peas and a curry sauce! What’s not to like. Great service and good beer! A winner all around and well worth a visit

Just delicious fish cooked to perfection and chips and curry sauce was all absolutely delicious the best chippy in blackburn I thought they would have had there john bulls on menu

Been going to this Chinese for 16yrs but I ordered a meal for delivery it took 1hour to arrive it was cold the chips looked like they were yesterday's, the curry was not the same overall a very poor experience and I don't think I will use them again .

What bag of shirt gravy was cold wouldn't call them beans chips were cold sticks chicken was greasey doughnuts were stale

Just had an order delivered. Such a change to get an order from a takeaway in darwen where they actually get the order right, foods tasty, arrived hot and in the time expected (take note godfather). Also it’s so refreshing to speak to someone on the phone who had customer service skills, he was very polite and friendly a rarity for Darwen takeaways, that alone makes you want return as it shows they care about their customers.thank you keep up the great work!

Atleast let your customers know that you are closed? Google said you were open, you didn’t post anything on social media nor did you pick up the phones. Arrived and you were closed, what a joke? Rather stay closed permanently LOL

Not fresh food quality really bad

Average food. Doesn’t live up to the hype

1st of all they just take cash if you do not have cash with you , you can use their cash machine and pay 1.27£ just to get cash. And now food there was oil smell in cod fish and chips was also smelly but burger was nice.
