On time no problems food awful, undercooked chips, salad on burger when specified none, kebab and pizza ridiculously over flavoured with peppery taste - absolutely awful by usual standards

The worst pizza and chips I’ve ever seen. Not only was the food inedible it was cold also. They should be embarrassed at turning out food like that.

I can’t believe how awful San Remo has got!!! No sauce on Pizza, chips were not up to standard and I wasn’t even given the drink I ordered. I won’t be coming back anytime soon

Pizzas were very undercooked on the base & had obviously not been kept flat. Cookie dough was actually a cookie, burnt & exceedingly thin - definitely not worth the price charged.

Diabolical… Food not up to standard, sent out too quick to care what quality they are sending, arrived within 30 minutes of ordering. Calzone- not calzone… it’s a pizza (wrongful advertising). If you got the order wrong just sort it out and redo it… we would have waited an hour like the app said to make sure the order was done right. Garlic bread was literally grease and unfortunately we couldn’t eat it. Chips were disgusting, cold and soggy… inedible so had to bin. Meal overall was extremely poor and ended up having to cook extra Waste of food and a meal. Disappointed and wouldn’t recommend. Worst takeaway we’ve had in the area and won’t be going back

Ordered through Uber eats and was given a twenty minute window for delivery. The driver turned up 15 minutes early than the specified window and wandered around the garden for ten minutes banging on the front door. Food was stone cold, specifically asked for sauce on the pizza, they didn’t put it on. The chips were rock hard, undercooked and stone cold.

Ordered the BBQ chicken pizza. Added extra sweetcorn and peppers to the pizza. Was so disappointed when it arrived as it was mostly just cheese!! 😂 could count on one hand how many pieces of chicken/sweetcorn and peppers were on it! Won’t be going back!

Been going here for a few years, I'd say best place for a pizza, not too thin, not too thick base, some other places in town charge similar price but really thin base. Service usually within the time specified too

Changing my reveiw from a 5 to a 3. Never had a probalem before food has always been good and on time but i ordered a kebab box lastnight with extra salad and some fresh chilli (said i wanted it hot). It came with no salad and no chilli. Also got charged 4 pound delivery because they were busy which shouldnt exactly effect delivery price.

Soggy fries. Got a marinated chicken kabab. bread as thin as paper hardly any chicken onit. Place has gone down hill. Shocking.

Order here all the time tonight will be my last, waited two hours in total for delivery no sauces/salad on any of the food as requested and food cold rubbish, mega crunch will be my new go to

bough here before and my partner picked up 9 in garlic bread plus a the same size pizza and chips. 16 quid was awfull pizza garlic bread and even though he picked it up it was as dry as a bone, awfull for nearly 17 quid. binned most of mine,fresh , dry as a bone for the price please, if you serve this crap at this price, then you wont last much longer! bloody awfull gess over 8 quid for a basic 9 inch pizza and a garlic bread and chips that was awfull .last time buying here i will vote with my feet and taste buds awfull food for the price

Chips raw in parts.Pizza didn't taste right, so rang to complain was quickly sent a replacement that wasn't any better used to be really good this place gone down hill. won't be ordering from here again. rang a third time had to ring four times as no answer (probably being ignored) worst pizza I've been sent by any takeaway in Darwen.

The thinnest Naan bread I’ve ever had. Food arrived within 20 minutes BUT was cold! Just average. Not worth almost £10 for a kebab!!! Won’t be returning.

Ok so we have had pizza here many times never a problem. The pizzas are always hot and tasty with plenty of toppings. Never disappointed great service never late and you get what you ask for. Tried all pizza houses in Darwen this definitely one of the best always our go to for pizza !

Not usually a bread eater but fancied a kebab tonight. The nan bread was the thinnest i have seen filled with fresh quality meat and salad. Most kebab shops I have used have the thickest of bread and minimalist of filling packed out with salad. Not here .... It was a bust Friday night, the order arrived on time piping hot and wrapped in insulated silver paper and tasted amazing, Thank you San Remo I will definitely be using you again

late arrival lukewarm pizza and garlic bread not cheap was not good. by the time it arrived ten bellies was starving . as for me, no. to dear for a late take away for a cold ish pizza and garlic bread not there usual service as ordered there before. to much money on lukewarm food

previously given 5 stars but now under new management and can only offer them 3 stars, 2 out of 4 orders were wrong, lost the finesse of the cooking.

Hate leaving bad reviews but under current circumstances we were looking forward to a takeaway and I have to say it was very poor,Delivery nearly an hour late ( would expect it to be a little later , but not an hour) when it arrived the food was luke warn , pizza’s very poorly made , cheap ingredients and very sparse, kebab meat was overcooked and really tough , all in all a waste of money as most of it went in bin .

Got a cheeseburger with ketchup... Never again They smothered ketchup on both sides to mask the flavour as I had to scrape it all off; there was that much it made the bun soggy. Then I started to eat it it tastes like gone off pork. I started pulling fat out of my mouth wondering what it was I was actually eating. It was bacon. Absolutely discuting The chips--also was soggy and way too much garlic sauce. Such a shame ruined my Sunday.

Ordered through just Eat on Friday night and asked for delivery for 20:30... Finally turned up at 21:30 driver advised he had been knocking at 20:30 and no one was home which was blatant lie number 1... as we had been sat in waiting.. he then stated he had rang the number given to be told f... Off we have had a Chinese.. blatant lie number 2. Sent him packing with the cold food which had obviously been in his car for over an hour and more to the point if he had been told on the phone we had had a Chinese why did he come back and hour later!!! We had been trying to ring San Remo's since 20:40 to find out where the food was and the line was constantly engaged... finally got through at 21:33 (amazing how we got through once the food was returned) The Manager advised that it wasn't really their fault as it was the delivery company that they used.. surely they are delivering on your behalf so how they behave reflects on you!!! She said they had been busy and that's why the phone was engaged constantly.. more like they took it off the hook as people were trying to find out where their food was... stop taking orders if you can't fulfill them. I then had to contact Just Eat to get my money back... I for one will never order from this place again.. Dreadful Service.. The best thing to come out of the evening was deciding to order from Dominoes... it came within half an hour and was the best Pizza ever.....

Wanted to place an order with a voucher , they wouldn't deliver because we had a charity voucher , that's not very charitably.

Always at highest standard. Would order everytime I had take away but its shut on Monday which I the day you feel worst haha. Excellent take away would always recommend.

So ordered San remo tonight. A woman came to deliver and said we need to pay when we clearly didn't as we had already paid so she gave us the food we paid £30 and my mum brung it in to find she gave us someone else's food and charged us for it! So had to give us money back in cash, also paid for a garlic mayo tub that I did not receive! Apart from the the food was okay but the chips were horrible. Far from impressed.

I loved this place when I lived in Darwen. The staff are really friendly and they certainly know how to make a pizza which tastes good! Darwen has some great local takeaway joints!

Pedir comida y dado de 35 a 45 minutos el tiempo de entrega después de 30 minutos la orden fue cancelada sin razón alguna más que podrían ser ocupados. Nivel de servicio al cliente es cero el consejo en comer solo era "buena noticia hay muchos más restaurantes en su zona" algo recordaré la próxima vez estoy pidiendo guiño comida para ser justos la parrilla dorada y padrino son mejor comida. En general todo el incidente ha dejado un mal sabor de boca que es similar a comer su carne donner.

Chicken pepperoni and double mushroom is the greatest pizza ever

Nuestro lugar siempre en línea, a veces agregar notas a la orden si queremos cosas de presets, cada vez estamos siempre escucho y comida está 100% CORRECTA cada vez. No puedo quejarme de este lugar, he probado muchos pizza en Darwen a través de los años, pero nos estamos hospedando poner ahora!

Me and my partner have never visited san remo before but decided for a change, ordered online at 10.00pm and was it would arrive by 11.00pm, turned up at 10.45 so was 15 minutes early which was excellent due to it being a late one for us, the garlic bread was lovely, very buttery and strong in flavour (which is what I like) but also very light so was not heavy on your stomach, the chips were sweaty which is better than being very dry as they were easy to eat as a light snack as they wasnt heavy either, the chicken and donnor kebab that my partner had was very extremely good, came in a tin foil wrapping so the salad was still fresh and the steam was kept in, donnor and chicken wasnt dry atall so was easy to eat and the garlic sauce was very full in flavour which gave the kebab that extra kick, will definetly recommend and will be ordering from here again!

Pizza was OK. Arrived a little cool. But not cold. Was tasty. I had Mexican pizza which had mince. This happened to be diced up kebab meat. A little disappointed with that

We've ordered pizzas from here numerous times and they are always great.Great value for money and they always taste delicious...perfect for a Friday night treat!The chicken breast kebab is also nice, a b=it pricer than the others but tastes lovely;...and a little bit healthier :)Good friendly service when picking up or delivery, really can not fault them.

we ordered a takeaway from here and to be honest it wasnt very nice.the special kebab consisted of dry overcooked chicken ,tough chewy lamb tastless lamb donner and a funny tasting chicken donner which on the menu said it was served in a nann bread but it was a wrap put on the grill plate so it was hard thin and very brittle and just fell apart we also had a garlic bread with cheese and mushrooms which was greasy stodgy and tastless half of which went in the bin as did half of the kebab so all in all a waste of money.

We have been using this establishment for some time one and have always been very pleased with the food and service. However, on the last two occasions, the latest being last night, the food has not been up to standard as the pizzas and garlic bread and chips were lukewarm at best on arrival. Normally the delivery person brings the food in a heat retaining container but on these last two occasions they have just come as they are. Perhaps that is the problem but we are only two minutes drive from the place so I don't know..

Having used this Pizza House for years and previously writing glowing reviews, sadly, this is no longer the case. They say that the success of any organisation lies with the staff and some of the staff at San Remo are sadly lacking. I was treated in an abominable way by one particular man. Hung up on when I queried why I had not received my full order. I was even told not to waste his time when I called back!. Needless to say, we won't be using them again. The owner did offer to rectify when my husband drove down to complain. No apology from the staff member though - too little - too late.

Can't get a yummier pizza!, i'd recommend the chicken pizza & small chips. The only bit of constructive critisism i have is charging to put sauce on the pizza i.e garlic, ketchup

Having now tried this take away on a couple of occasions we can honestly agree with others that this is the best pizza house in Darwen. Friendly service, timely delivery, piping hot food and great pizzas. We love the beefeater with added chillies to make it what we know as a hotshot, fresh hot and tasty. This is our pizza place from now on

The staff are really friendly, the base was very fresh and soft, the chicken tender. I would definetely recommend this place.

We've been having pizzas from San Remo for a good few years and in that time we've never been disappointed. The food is always piping hot and very tasty, the staff are very friendly and helpful, if you phone in your order it's always ready at the time you're given. I've been to others in Darwen but I won't go anywhere else now.

Good service, despite the time of day ordering, after 7pm. Delivered to a local pub as they were not serving food that day due to a football match, we made a full up hungry! And the landlord is bringing in pizza night!
