The best restaurants serving Default food in Hindpool Barrow-in-Furness North West

Do not take bookings if cannot fulfill spoilt a night out, felt the owner was condescending will not be booking again in a hurry

Best Italian in town. I come back to Barrow from Helsinki at least once a year and Salvana’s is always my first meal out. Always top! One thing though guys, you need to take some new pictures of the food for trip advisor because the current ones don’t do justice to the excellent and beautifully presented dishes!

We ordered crispy wontons, a pulled pork CHIMICHANGA, Red Thai curry and salt and pepper chips. All tasted amazing, will definitely be going back here. It was definitely worth the wait and was even delivered by the owner.

A family run endeavour that really brings the tastes of Siam to Cumbria, just great food and a warm welcome it really is worth the effort, overjoyed that they survived the pandemic when so many didn’t.

Amazing fish and chips. We also got scampi and curry sauce. It was made fresh to order. I've had fish and chips around the UK and these were the best I've ever had. These guys know what they are doing. Not very oily, crispy, fluffy chips and the fish wasn't fishy. Very fresh and crispy batter. Worth it all the way from Sheffield!

Went for a Sunday evening meal. The food was pleasant but nothing extraordinary. They had sold out of 2 out of 3 of the available roast dinner options by 6pm so if you want a Sunday roast it would be advisable to go earlier. One thing that let this meal down though was the service, they do not have enough staff serving tables. There is a call button system on the table for ordering but no body responded despite pressing it 3 times. I attempted to order at the bar but was advised to return to the table and use the button. We must have waited 30 minutes just for the food order to be taken.

Great dominoes with great staff, frank was great

On Saturday, I visited your establishment and ordered a coffee. To my surprise, the waitress informed me that the maximum amount of time I could remain at the table, having only ordered a drink, was 30 minutes. I was taken aback by this policy and sought clarification. When I inquired about the time allowance for customers ordering food, I was told that in such cases, patrons are permitted to stay for up to an hour and a half. Frankly, I find this policy to be both unreasonable and discriminatory. It appears to place value on customers based solely on their level of expenditure, which I believe is unjust. If this is not an example of discriminatory treatment based on spending, then what is it?

I always use Santa Marina if I fancy an Italian meal. It is always pipping hot and tasty and delivered very quickly with a smile.

Oh my gosh, great service, food piping hot and delicious, service was great, very busy little restaurant, will visit again when we are next up there.

Great prices, lots of selections to suit everyone's needs

Wouldn’t advise getting food before 7 o’clock as it’s last nights left overs, all of it felt like pre heated food. Let me tell you the “beef” felt too chewy n grim, also hair in food (multiple).

Enjoyed the nduja and salami toastie but the fries were spoiled as the seasoning was dumped on the top and left. Hence some had none on at all; others so much they were unpleasant.
