Pre booked for some food place was not that busy but plenty of people waiting for drinks and food at the bar one person serving there was 3 members of staff talking close to pudding fridge they did not seem to mind customers waiting. Food was ok nothing sparkling burger standard stuff Gluten free meals missing chips that’s a shame only jacket spuds Left after a house still lots of people waiting to order one still only 1 person on the bar. One notch up from Wetherspoons

Lovely and clean with great staff who can't do enough to help. Team leader was excellent and didn't stand still the whole time we were there. She was serving, chatting to customers/children or cleaning and did a wonderful job. Very impressed and also got a £14 monthly pass which is a bargain - especially in the school holidays!

Absolutely can not fault the experience me and my family had today, all of our food was hot and delicious and the staff were faultless even during what seemed to be a busy spell for them, i will certainly be returning for more great food

i recently booked a table for my sisters birthday and we all ordered the mixed grill,which was fine and we always have,we asked if it would be possible to get a cake with a candle or sparkler in it for her birthday ,they said they could with a slice of cheesecake and we said that would be fine,when it arrived it had a long black hair embedded in it and we took this back to the bar and they swapped it for us,the lady sat opposite us overheard this and said that she had found a hair in her dinner ,it makes me feel sick thinking about it ,if you are employing sasquatch in the kitchen i suggest you give him a hairnet ,i also have never known a pub that has no vodka which i was told when i tried to order a cocktail.dissapointing

After a long drive we looked for a local pub to food and relax. Web site recommended this pub so made a phone call to book a table. Booked a table easily with the automated service who said it was open until 11pm. All looking good so far. When we arrived we were greeted by a staff member who said the kitchen was just closing. We won’t be going back. Hungry Horse please ensure your details are correct so not to disappoint customers

We were staying at the near by premier inn but decided to use this pub for our meals and ate here evenings and every day (except 1 when to tried Asda - bad idea) It was clean and welcoming, all staff really friendly and helpful Food choice and quality good

We booked the Owl and the Pussycat for my daughter’s 3rd birthday party - and everyone had a fantastic experience. It was easy to book, contact before the day from staff was brilliant, and on the day the kids had a blast. Play and food were really well organised and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Thank you to Gemma, Ava and Kinga - we’d absolutely recommend.

Soft play. Very welcoming and clean. Member of staff did not stop the whole time we were in. Hoovering ball pits, dusting and disinfecting chairs and tables. Felt clean too. Nice and warm and calm atmosphere. Loved it. Thankyou.

What a wonderful experience. The young lady on the reception welcomed us with a lovely cheerful smile and advised us where we could choose to sit. Order at the bar was easy and the bar. The bar person was chatty and cheerful and made me feel valued as a customer. When the meal came it was served again in a cheerful manner and during the meal someone came to ask if everything was ok with the meal. I wanted an extra spoon and it was no trouble to get one, again from a young lady who was happy at her work. I spoke to the manager and said what lovely staff she had and that it was such a positive place to eat. oh and the food portions were great and the food delicious. I watched the staff treating 2 lots of elderly couples booking them in for the next day and they were so accomodating. Well done.

4 Adults 1 Child including the birthday “boy” All the staff were friendly & professional & plenty of them (hard find these days) Our meals were perfect, great portion size, desserts were fab all made even better by the “ young” 🤭man from South Africa what a great sense of humour he has an asset to the team.

A large, family friendly restaurant with a children's playground and an indoor play area which is payable. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food was good. We had dinner and visited for breakfast the following day.

We had our daughter's 4th birthday party at the Wacky Warehouse and it was absolutely brilliant! Everybody had a great time and the kids really enjoyed the soft play. The food was really good and Gemma worked her socks off to make sure everything went according to plan. Thanks to Megan too for answering all of our questions and helping with the booking. We'll probably be back next year for our daughter's 5th birthday party!

Had a lovely meal and the kids had a great time in the play barn/wacky warehouse. Food was spot on we ordered in the pub side via the app and then walked over to the play side so the kids could burn off some energy while our meals were being prepared. They couldn't have been any better on a non gluten/diary offering they provided us with a tablet and then asked to provide allergies which then gave all of the available meals that suited thr allergy. All meals were amazing. Great value and portions were good. Gemma really looked after us in the play side and was very accommodating even if the second time we popped over they were just before closing they had 15 mins to have a little more fun. Great for a family. Will be returning soon!

Visited Christmas eve and had the vege roast and turkey toast dinners. Everything was hot and tasted great. Friendly service. Only negative comment is that if you sit near the windows, it is very cold. We moved even though we'd ordered food and drink and the staff were very accommodating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our plentiful, very well presented first festive meal of the season and reasonably price too. This restaurant is decorated lovely for the festive season and nothing is too much trouble for the very friendly attentive staff.
