All great, besides the vegi Tikka masala...tasted decent but not great.

Absolute garbage. Garlic Naan bread like I have never seen the like of before, basically a flatbread smeared in green paste. Curry swimming in grease and no flavour. I wish I had taken a picture of the bread. Disgusting waste of money. All ended up in the bin.

They seem unable to grasp that their chips are soggy and need cooking for longer. You can squeeze the oil out of them.

Superb selection of breakfast choices, prompt service by friendly staff. Pancakes with streaky bacon and syrup with blueberries made for a welcome change. Great atmosphere!

We fancied a pizza and we decided to visit Alessi's. We were surprised how busy it was as it was a Tuesday. There were at least 5 large tables with different family parties going on. So it's very popular with locals. We decided on pizza, I don't think it was homemade as the pizza was perfectly round and all identical. It was well cooked and very good. The waiter we had was new and very young, but he did well all things considered. Would go to Alessi's again.

more people should be eating here because the food was so good and we were all very pleased, we sat upstairs in the cocktail bar not to sure what the atmosphere downstairs is but it was cosy upstairs, service was good and i’d definitely recommend very underrated spot

Excellent, better than Trenchers in Whitby, lots to choose from. Staff and service couldn’t be better. Haddock really fresh with good quality fries, plenty of tartare sce. Black Sheep up to snuff as well. A nice experience.

Went for a bacon and sausage sandwich and a coffee. I was expecting it to be in a bread bun but it came in 2 bits of white bread. There was a small amount of bacon and 1 sausage. It was totally underwhelming. The food has, never been this poor before. Friends I was with had a cheese toasty which they said was ok. The food came in polystyrene boxes which isn’t what I expected for a sit down cafe. So much for helping the planet.

Not great. Waited 20 minutes before we could catch someone’s attention to order a drink. Steaks were not flat iron and not cooked as requested. Was not asked once if everything was ok, then the bill came with £21 service charge! Needless to say we did not pay that and will not be returning!

Very helpful staff and brilliant service

Awful place, food was cold and soggy and the managers were just as bad arguing infront of customers and treating staff horribly. Wouldn’t recommend at all

Just had a shocking experience at this food outlet, waited about 30 minutes to be given a pizza that had stood on top of the oven for over 15 minutes. A large group of about ten people came in after i ordered and they all got their meals before me. The staff suddenly realised that the pizza on the oven was mine, I asked for a refund but they refused, as a result I had a barely warm pizza, needless to say I will not be using this place again.

Simple curry sauce was good chicken well absolutely awful typical Chinese first in 3 years will be more before I give any of this breed my money again
