Very cosy friendly place the staff are lovely. Enjoy our visits sitting in the comfy seats in the window, reading my book Best cup of tea in saltburn Still my go to place in Salburn, this is where I have made lots of friends and feel very welcomed.

£100 for breakfast and it was cold. Bacon was over cooked, hash browns almost still frozen, black pudding raw, sausages looked like they had been boiled, beans were from around the First World War, egg was play dough and the toast was from a frozen loaf which was still frozen solid in the middle. All this coupled with an almost 1 hour wait when we were the only ones in. Truly terrible, this place is to be dodged at all costs.

Visited here with some friends visiting from the North West. The customer service from James was second to none and the food was divine (thanks for the recommendations James) … we will return here again and again and can honestly say that the eclectic seating, food and people were all ace. If you’re in Saltburn Parlours is on the Main Street and we highly recommend to all xx

It's been a good while since I have eaten or drank here but I was pleasantly surprised. The homemade soup was absolutely amazing and I had a lovely coffee. Definitely better than my last coffee experience. Will definitely visit again.

Came here for a late lunch with family. We all had different dishes and they were all great. My pea and pancetta soup was really tasty, but the stand-out for me was the full English. Easy to take a shortcut using frozen rostis / hash browns, but the chef had made them from scratch. The fried cherry tomatoes had the rich flavour of a really good marinara pizza sauce. This, again, is an area of the dish that could have been so easily overlooked. Can't comment on the sausages because they were veggie sausages, which by and large are ok in my experience. Only minor downside was the slow service, as commented by others. Maybe a great place to come if you've got a bit of time and don't have to rush.

Had a nice breakfast here with my mum! the waiter was very nice and welcoming and the atmosphere was nice!

Gorgeous venue, so unique with lots of character. Breakfast menu looks great and can’t wait to try it out. Carly who looks after the bar is a credit to the place. Gorgeous girl. Looked after us well all night. X

Coffee ok. Poor service with staff seemingly running round with no or little idea of what they were doing. Ordered tea and a scone with butter and jam. But had to wait a very long time before we received any. Indeed they said they had run out of jam and had to get some more. Transferring the new jam from the bought jar into small pots. I have nothing against decanting.

Every time we go to this place the food is even better than the time before. Have to give 10/10 for the staff as well. Such a lovely chilled vibe with them, which is exactly what you want for a place by the sea. Supremely comfortable seating, best place to go for food in the area without a doubt.

Called in late on in the day, we were served quickly and had just missed food being served. Settled on coffee's and scones, and they hit the spot.

Had a very delicious fish finger sandwich. Not the warmest venue but it was freezing outside and heating a big place must be extortionate these days.

Quickly popped in with my partner yesterday for a hot drink and the lady serving us was so lovely. Offered a wide range of teas and made me curious to try a lemongrass and ginger tea for the first time and it tasted lovely! Great service, atmosphere and the decor is gorgeous

Was looking for a dog friendly cafe offering vegetarian options, wasn't sure at the front, but once in found it to nicely relaxed and space. Delicious veggie options and biscuits and bowl for the dogs. Had a burrata pesto crouton salad, partner had baked goats cheese and onion chutney over salad with truffle chips, all 😋

I always try to call in at parlours whenever I'm at saltburn, the service is always 10/10, the food/hot drinks are amazing and its the most interesting/atmospheric cafe in the area

Absolute Shambles food took far too long and came out incorrect building is tired management not the best food hygiene if any as looked dirty when food did come wasn’t satisfactory definitely will not go again or recommend

We had an amazing meal of small plates, the menu on the whole is lovely. Service and staff were absolutely fabulous! Made us feel at home. We are looking forward to returning!

Why do owners of these places put young people in charge who are obviously on minimal wage and are not professional at all.? They do what they can, but the prices that are charged are not minimal

Relaxed and comfortable with good variety of different things to eat, bar too. They seemed a little short staffed this weekend so we had to wait a bit. Even so we felt looked after

Nice cafe with plenty of seating. Food was very good but the service was not so good unfortunately. My girlfriend and I were served by a waitress not long after arriving but we were waiting for our food for over half an hour and the place was probably half full at best.

Had a decaf latte and carrot cake. All very nice. Quirky decor, just what I like :) Didn't have food as such and there were only a few people, hence four stars for each.

Shambles of a cafe. Slow service and arrogant staff. Had to get money back as they "lost" the order. Much better cafes in Saltburn than this joke of a company

Disappointed. After a busy and tiring day yesterday, my friend and I wanted somewhere to sit and rest and a bite to eat. We were uncomfortable on the sofas we first chose to sit on so moved to another sofa and chair, which were equally as dilapidated and uncomfortable. We got coffees and fruit scones, the lattes were quite nice, however the scones were awful, rock hard, dry as a bone and just shattered into many 'stones' when we cut into them, which were barely made any better by trying to spread some rock hard butter onto them to try and add a bit of moisture to just make them edible, they just crumbled into more pieces. We were hungry and tired so made the best of a disappointing snack, but wouldn't choose to go back there

Nice place to go and have a few drinks with friends , good range drinks , good non alcoholic choices too. Cakes were yummy . Not tried food yet . Quirky decor , sofas and formal seating, piano was fun to play ( son can play ) . Yorkshire lager 44 is lovely :)

Beautiful! We had stayed at the B&B before and had breakfast and it’s enough to make you visit again! The quality of ingredients is very high and they are so friendly it really feels very relaxing. Also they have decorated it with lovely interesting bits and bobs to keep your eyes busy whilst you wait. Definitely worth a visit!

Plenty or room ,dog friendly, staff very polite and accommodating. Large sandwiches with lively fresh ham .

Eh. Bit long to wait for some sandwiches, which then came with salad we didn't ask for. The salt tastes like it has sugar in it. Very dated, needs and upgrade and the seats uncomfortable. Ham is very thick and raw. But the toilets are nice and staff polite.

Good coffee, quirky comfy surroundings

no other milk except full fat! Reasonable price drinks, but no specialist teas. Tea we ordered was served in small teapot and Alice in wonderland sized cup! The place is a bit past its sell by date, very dark, and dinghy. The manager was busy talking rather rudely to her staff about other staff members, also servers eating off plates in the restaurant, which is a no no in restaurant environment. The manager seemed only interested in herself and gladly told anyone in ear shot I'm nearly 40!!!! Just not a nice place to be in, trying hard to be a decent coffee shop but came across maybe more of a community drop- in centre.

Don’t be fooled, I accidentally gatecrashed the owners party and she was so welcoming and accepting . What a lovely person ❤️❤️❤️❤️ She’s fantastic, I dropped my food one the way home and I only had great things to say about the place

Quirky bar and cafe which serves good reasonably priced food. Friendly staff. We had coffee there in the morning and decided to come back later for lunch as well.

They weren't serving food but said they would put on a high tea of sandwiches and scones and freshly cooked tiffin. We washed that down with coffee and tea. Really appreciated how they looked after us thankyou

Great place for snacks or light lunches

Popped in for a quick pint on the way home last Saturday and ended up staying until closing time. Really friendly, lively place with a whole mix of age groups. Great beers, I've no idea how expensive they were, I was just glad they were open. See you again, next time I'm home

Discovered 'Lemon Top Gin' in this establishment, served with creamsoda, oh my goodness,.. also had a lovely cup cake and coffee before we started on the hard stuff.. great atmosphere.. xx

Friendly staff. Tapas was booked in advance. And service was efficient . Drinks seemed a bit pricey.

Had lunch here with friends, and it was so good we stayed all afternoon especially as they are licenced and the wine was good! 😄 All of the staff were brilliant and a special thank you to Lisa who really looked after us well.

I've been to Parlours quite a few times recently & really like the place. The Coffee's & tea's are very good & the staff are great. Up to now I've only had snacks, there but hoping I might get taken there for Mothers Day as the menu looks really good.

Good friendly licensed cafè. Mismatch of furniture from sofas to tables and chairs. Light food menu, we had a sandwich which was excellent plus they serve wines, larger and real ale.

Ok so it was on new years day that we visited the Parlours, but it took far to long for our food to arrive. Secondly the table next to ours with two gentlemen on ordered a full English each and all looked very nice, freshly baked thick toasted bread, ramekin of beans, 3 sausages 3 bacon, plenty of mushrooms so me and my wife was waiting with baited breath as i had ordered the same and my wife a bacon and egg sandwich. After our 40 to 45 minute wait the waitress came to our table with our food, but wait....... One generic white slice of the thinnest bread i've ever seen, a dessert spoon of beans, a dessert spoon of mushrooms, and asked for red and brown sauce which two thimble sized pots with a teaspoon of sauce in each. Then onto the missus's so called sandwich which consisted of one slice of toasted bread which wasn't asked for and no top slice on the sandwich.........very disappointed with all aspects of our first and last visit to the Parlours.

First visit last night. Bit worse for wear. Seems a nice owner with great ideas. Had a bit chat with him even tho it was a staff party and a nice bloke with a vision. Watch this space

Gorgeous mince pie and coffee in lovely location.

Decor makes the Cafe shout for more light ás the interior quite gloomy. Service standards change daily depending on who is serving. The coffee is the best locally, and for that reason I am a patron. Owners véry friendly and react to comments in ways to improve.

I went to Parlours the other week when visiting Saltburn. The staff and owners were friendly and I liked how it was decorated inside. The food was amazing and it was good to have a selection to choose from. In particular, I loved the vegan haggis cups and falafel, which were freshly made and very tasty!

Slow service, they where short staffed, but instead of making life easier for themselves, by reducing the menu or taking in the outside tables, they where trying to do everything, which made the serive slow and not professional.....

A great place to relax and chill out. Good food and great coffee and if you feel like something stronger then there is a well stocked bar serving Black Sheep and more.

Lovely gem of a place! Called in on a recommendation and was not disappointed. Food very tasty and good choice of soft and alcoholic drinks. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and the cool interior was lovely on a hot sunny day. The decor inside is tastefully done creating a relaxing feel. Definatley worth visit.
