Lovely Sunday Carvery, lots of choice

Very nice pub with classic period features and friendly staff. Unfortunately when we visited it was absolutely freezing inside and the beer selection was terrible.

Typical English pub with guest rooms. I liked it.

So I just had the pleasure of staying here overnight because I wanted to visit Saltburn, the pub is very old but when you get to your room for the night, the rooms are quite nice and modern they don't smell, loved the bathroom, the bed is very comfortable plenty of pillows, they also provide towels, soap, a kettle along with milk and sugar, TV in the room as well, plenty of plug sockets! Very comfortable and spacious! Also, there's WiFi... There's some information that they provide waiting for you on the table with the WiFi password

Good pub with limited food menu

Lunch time Monday , so pub was very quiet. Some amazing lamps and very traditional pub. Drinks and service fine.

Such a lovely pub inside with beautiful features a real treasure but very quiet when a lot of the surrounding venues were busy the girl behind the bar was pleasant but lacking atmosphere.

We've just spent a night at the Victoria. It's 5 minutes walk from the train station. Free parking all around. Staff very friendly. The room whilst a little dated gives you everything you need. We will return.

Brilliant staff, excellent location

Popped in a couple of weeks ago on a cold day. Inside was colder. Limited cask beers. Shame as looked a pub with character.

Nice place for a pint and some food

Called in with two friends from Aberdeen, the girl who served us was really nice and drinks were good. However maybe I have a very sensitive sense of smell but the male toilets were emitting that very old male toilet smell which went right through the Bar 😔

It is one of those off the beaten track pubs. But definitely worth a visit. Plenty of choice of ales and lagers. The menu is enticing, we'll have to visit several times to sample all their stuff. Someone has to do it 🍻

Old type pub. Food was really nice and made to order. Hubby said best fish and chips he's had in a long time

Delightful quiet place to shelter from a North Sea wind. Close to the station.

Noisy bands into the night so your kids don’t get to sleep on time when you live opposite.

The pub itself is really old and one would say 'no frills' but it's friendly and the carvery was nice. All the food seemed home cooked, like the Yorkshires, stuffing and gravy. We didn't know that they serve the food upstairs, so just take note if you have mobility problems. But it's not a problem and I'm sure the staff would be willing to help. Give it a try, places like this need the custom.
