Jan did an amazing afternoon tea and was so accommodating with order that catererd for fussy kids and was so helpful with pre order communication via email. Lovely food and great staff

First visit, on a Friday night in March. Food was really good and some interesting choices on the menu that we'd not seen elsewhere. Service was a little slow but it was busy. Just under £100 without tip for two courses and drinks for 3 people.

Hotel from outside looks run down but inside is quite stylish. We had buffet with work event and food was not good. Away from any other interesting places.

Didn’t know what to expect when we popped in after not fancying anything in nearby Morpeth. So glad we did - doorstep toasties were blooming lovely! Really filling so we took advantage of the takeaway cake on offer. Also lovely. Small carpark but managed to find somewhere to park in a nearby street. Will definitely be back.

Stayed here for business on more than one occasion and the staff are all very welcoming and friendly. The food is excellent. The rooms are so spacious and the beds are so comfy clean and the staff really can’t do enough for you would recommend this very welcoming friendly place.I do travel a lot for business and stayed in a lot of different places and this is one of my favourites.

8 of us for Sunday lunch yesterday, staff were brilliant and so good with the kids. Food was absolutely delicious as usual. Highly recommend especially for families. Thank you!

I love the yung chow fried rice. Always order it, but with a few starters. Always hot and tasty. Never been disappointed.

Food was spot on . Great service. And value for money

The whole family were here for our daughter Chloe and Ians wedding on Saturday 10th May 2025. From start to finish the service from all staff was polite , professional and were extremely well organised . Food was superb , everyone had pre ordered 3 course meals which all came out piping hot and well presented. We had freshly cooked pizzas on the night which were delicious also.Waiters/waitresses served us all like a well oiled machine, all knowing exactly what was required of them. The whole place was well decorated throught, from the outside wedding ceremony , the bars , the bedrooms and a great breakfast the following morning. It was a special , never to be forgotten day which we as a family will always be grateful for the cando attitude we had all day . Congratulations to Chloe & Ian Jose and a special thankyou to The Parlour for their hardwork, highly recommend .

We hired the private dining room for a special family birthday meal (15 guests) and had a great night. The food, service and drinks were excellent, thoroughly recommended.

Unfortunately Mother’s Day meal at Rialto wasn’t good at all and ruined my day. Asked for a steak well done, they brought it out bloody, then took it and brought another one which was just as bloody. My partner ordered a beef roast and extra gravy boat. He received a tiny plate with a Yorkshire pudding, 2 slices of beef and 2 small potatoes. No veg, no gravy boat. Asked again for gravy boat & veg. They came 20 min later when he finished his plate with a small bowl with a carrot, peas. Really unhappy with this and once mentioned at the very end when paying the bill the staff just pulled a funny face, no apology whatsoever.

A group of 6 of us stayed in the cottage/stables & twin room. Beautiful rooms, very comfortable bed. Best of all was the full English breakfast the next morning with endless tea/coffee in a cosy well decorated restaurant by very attentive staff. Look forward to going back.

Food is really good but god forbid you have an issue with your order, expect to be verbally abused & accused of being a liar. The woman ‘manager’ is so disgustingly rude.
