Food is OK. I would have given five stars for service if it hadn't been for the attitude of the guy who seemed to be in charge. He was furious when my partner pointed out that her chicken tasted off. It was, I tried it too.

Great place, super fast service, and very tasty hot food. A little mix up with orders and nearly got a different tables order, and didn't have the dessert I fancied, as sold out. But there was a huge table of 20+ guests. But, we will definitely go again, and would recommend it. Toilets clean, staff friendly but took a while to make eye contact for the bill, and ended up going to the bar to pay.

Lovely tasting food and staff were very attentive. Menu has changed since I was last here over a year ago. I had the hummus to start which came with pita bread and then for the main I had chicken Souvlaki, it was all filled with great taste. Also shared a bottle of pinto blush. Definitely recommend going here.

Awful service. Called to book a table they told me only 9.30 left on 15/2. Called them as was running late and arrived at 9.40. No one acknowledged us stood there for 10 mibs then the waiter told us to wait at the bar. The bad man just stood there didn’t speak to us or ask us if we needed anything. Waited 15 mins more as all waiters were serving one table of 8 people. Was so angry walked out. So rude.

Food was absolutely delicious and worth every penny. Alex was amazing and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We will definitely be returning!

Went for dinner on the 27th December, we were a party of seven, I could not fault anything at all ,Food was first class, waiter service excellent, I have been several times and always an all round excellent service in all aspects of this resterant Wellworth a visit ,

I have been to this restaraunt many times with family members ,canot fault it .but i must say i have been to many places for sunday lunch & mambos is by far the best hands down it was amazing .will definatly be back worth every penny .lovley polite staff great service

Brilliant food nothing to complain about. The staff however have brought the rating down. The staff member In particular was a waitress or possibly the assistant manager. There is a way to speak to customers and that is not how. The other waitress was lovely and very attentive so thank you for that. But the one waitress ruined this whole experience for me

Booked a table for our anniversary on the 16th for the 19th, arrived on that evening, booking hadn't been put in the diary . Was told they could fit us in, but would only be allowed 1.5 hrs for the table. Spoilt our special day.

Outstanding food at excellent value. There is a great range of food on the menu, and it is all promptpy served hot and fresh. We found the portions to be very generous and look forward to returning soon.

Amazing restaurant!! The food and cocktails were excellent! We had the meatballs, halloumi and ndjua / honey garlic bread to start, then salmon and chicken / prawn dishes. Really good quality! The restaurant is fairly small, but is well thought out with good vibes. The service was second to none!

Fantastic service and food was excellent.

My daughter flew up from Bristol to celebrate Mothers Day. I suggested Mambos (wish I hadn’t) ??…Arrived early so had a drink then waited forever to be served? Starter was anaemic with no flavour the main was awful, my daughter ordered the Pailland and she asked how to pronounce it, the waiter was so rude in his response?….It was chicken and arrived looking like a huge white fat sausage not sure what part of a chicken that was? Her salad was just a bag of Frisée lettuce no dressing nothing else? I had seafood linguine scorching in part cold in others ☹️? Microwaved??? No one came to ask how the meal was or if we needed anything, we were totally neglected and it wasn’t even busy? The whole experience was awful. Used to be so lovely there but think they’re living on their reputation!! Won’t last long if they continue like that after all going out is a treat.. cost £80+ too!! Very disappointed .

What a great little place. Really good efficient service and the food was absolutely fantastic. We shared a garlic foccacia bedhead and a meat pizza. Both fantastic.

Delicious food and prompt service at the start of the meal when the restaurant was quiet. Later on, it was full with people waiting and our desserts took rather too long to appear and appeared about 5 minutes after the coffees instead of at the same time. However, overall we liked it and would go again.

Food is nice but a bit overpriced, best frozen strawberry daiquiri I've ever had! 😋

We went New Years Eve. The restaurant was very busy but managed really well. Service was quick and attentive. The food was amazing as always. It was hot and well presented. The taste was excellent. We were a party of 4. Two of the party had the lamb tagine, the lamb fell apart, no need for a knife and the dish was full of flavour. The other two had steak, prawns and mussels. The steak was cooked to perfection and the seafood was delicious. Will definitely book again! The restaurant is easily accessible to all.

We booked a table for 30 people and had a very bad experience. We went for the Sunday roast and a Lot of us ordered the Trio of Meats(Pork Lamb and Chicken) We were served BEEF in 8 of the Trios we ordered and we, due to religious beliefs do not eat BEEF which was explicitly mentioned. The appalling part was the attitude of the staff, specially the head waiter who took our order. It did not bother him one bit. We went after reading the great reviews but we did not have a pleasant experience and would recommend to double check your meats next time. I would understand 1 order being mixed up in a big group but I don't understand 8 ORDERS having the wrong meat. The order tickets sent to the kitchen were correct and what we had ordered. The attitude was absolutely uncalled for and in 2023 being so ignorant was shocking. That’s one less customer Mambos. Goodluck.

Very friendly atmosphere, the fries were a bit soggy but the rest of our food and the service was out of this world, and the waiter was very attentive even though it was a very busy Thursday evening. Will definitely be back soon

Really friendly place to visit, the food is fantastic and the staff could not be more helpful, definitely worth a visit.

Helpful attentive team who took our booking knew who we were when we turned up and despite being extremely busy had our table all ready. Offered us water before menu an action sadly lacking in many a uk restaurant. Menu was excellent and the choice of lobster, mussels, chicken, King prawns in a lobster bisque with a choice if a side was not only well cooked and presented but good value compared to other allegedly quality restaurants I have eaten at. My wife's choice of lamb tagine was also excellent. Reasonably choice of wine and drinks though not cheap but in line with restaurant prices. Atmosphere was very positive with an eclectic range of customers. Large car park next to it that belongs to supermarket. Will be back.

Visited with a group of friends. Friendly upon entering and very nice interior. Ordered the garlic bread for starter, so cheesy and flavoursome and quite good for sharing while the wait for mains. Food took an average time to come out. I ordered the steak surf and turf. It did not disappoint a VERY large portion and steak cooked to perfection! The sauce was one of the nicest I’ve had but I felt the fries were just unnecessary (but delicious.) Others on the table ordered salmon, pizza etc it looked lovely and a standard size pizza. For dessert I opted for the sticky toffee pudding, again delicious lots of sauce on the pudding which I always prefer too, this restaurant is definitely not stingy on portion sizes and there’s something for everybody’s taste buds. Nobody on the table drank alcoholic drinks but I did get a non-alcoholic strawberry daiquiri which I don’t think is stated in the menu but they are more than happy to make. Service was attentive coming round plenty of times asking how we were. 100% my favourite restaurant in ncl BUT be aware parking is NOT good. You get 2 hours in the Waitrose car park but our 3 course experience lasted just over. There is also some street parking but may mean a short walk.

Booked a table for 8pm, on arrival told was an issue with the booking system (a paper book clearly seen it), then was made to wait 40 minutes in the bar until a table became free, in the end we walked out and went elsewhere.

Mambo's has classed it's restaurant as Spanish Marocain ( meditation style restaurant). It is set out in a very modern dinner style but with high back soft perimeter seating and individual tables and chairs and other tables and chairs set out for 4 people in the middle of room which can be put together for larger groups of people. The bar is is well stocked. I had very good experience at this restaurant, the welcome was very warm, staff very pleasant and service quick, I chose tomato and fresh basil soup for my starter which was very nice and hot and came with a small amount bread. My main course was Greek chicken fajita which was absolutely delicious with a side order tempura Mediterranean vegetables which was my choice. I was completely satisfied with my experience at Mambo's restaurant.

Absolutely fantastic place I can't wait to go back. Lots of choice and amazing service. My absolute favourite restaurant and I go to a LOT of restaurants! Waiters are very professional. Food is delicious. Great atmosphere. The food is delicious. One more thing .....i don't understand why people are leaving poor reviews because they parked in stupid places and got tickets.... that is not the restaurants fault! I don't come on here to hear you moan about parking get a taxi it's worth it. There is parking anyway it's just very busy so you need to arrive in good time that's all.

Great place for food choices restaurant service top tier. Beware though add £50 to the final bill as your more than likely to receive a parking fine if you use the nearby Waitrose carpark.90mins free . Afraid we won't be using again .

This place is the perfect combination of good quality food and good customer service. I loved it.

The best restaurant my partner & I had the pleasure to dine at. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile and your coats taken. The staff members at this restaurant go above and beyond for their customers. They regularly check to make sure you have exactly what you need. We stayed behind after paying our bill to talk to the manager and my partner got into a discussion about beard oils & aftershaves with the bearded waiter. The lovely waitress offered to take our photo infront of the neon lobster sign as they had asked how I heard about the restaurant. Well done to the person who runs the tiktok page. The decor at this restaurant is very stylish and modern. Certainly caught my eye. Now on to the food. We had butterflied King prawns and cozze arrabbiata. It was delicious. We were offered more bread to mop up the rest which was much appreciated as it was too good not finish off. For mains we had lobster and some sides, naked Mediterranean veg with triple cooked chips. Now we were just expecting a lobster with a bit of salad. When it was put infront of us we were amazed at the dish, alongside the lobster there was Mussels on the right and prawns on the left. The dish was absolutely phenomenal. For what we had the price was very good. If you ever get the chance to dine here, do it, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Mambos for giving us a 5 star experience.

Usually i love it in here but the last two times ive been ive had to flag people down for drinks when they've ran past and not enjoyed the food as much. On NYD due to having a few kids with us the tables didnt work out to be able to sit the kids with their parents so we asked if we could move one of the tables from a table which was already in our group to have it not on the booth side to put high chairs, they told us we couldn't and we'd need to squeeze so left two mothers having to sit on corners to have their food so they could sit with their kids. 10 minutes laters they moved the same table to another location. We actually thought they felt bad for us and was bringing it to our table but that wasnt the case. My food was super garlicy i couldnt eat it. I was having to drink so much water to get it down but because they werent coming over and checking on us i couldnt rely on always having a drink so it was easier to just leave it. Waste of money but it is what it is.

Food was nice when we finally got served. Was late being sat at table by over 10 minutes and then by the time we ordered it was 55 minutes since we arrived... couldn't enjoy a sweet due to time restrictions with parking so had to skip dessert and rush off due to possible parking fine! All in all not a very relaxing experience! Food was nice just very slow service 😔🤨

Had a few takeaway's previously which were great so tried here for a sit down Sunday lunch. Food was excellent, service prompt and friendly, no issues. Only suggestion for improvement would be more cider options.

We have been to Mambos a few times now and we have enjoyed it everytime! The staff make you feel incredibly special and build great relationships! The food has been delicious everytime we have been and they always have a fantastic selection of drinks. Lovely restaurant local to us, with a great atmosphere!
