Am gluten free and you don't do toasties so it's coffee only for me in there now

Was down over the weekend at Haven & found this gem of a boozer not far away. Felt welcomed & treated like an actual human. Great range of drinks, even for us not on alcohol. I can't speak more highly of the place & team there. 10/10

Planned to go in, walked past 23 March. Looks shut down and currently for sale.

Food and service is always top notch, anytime we visit the North we make sure to come here for dinner, the food is immaculate and has never disappointed

An enjoyable few drinks on a Friday evening. Bar staff very friendly, chatty and helpful. Plenty suggestions shared on activities and places to eat and drink.

We've just been to the Greggs at Marygate and we were served by the most lovely, welcoming and experienced staff ever, Anne went far and beyond what could ever have anticipated and we will certainly be back again and again. Cheers for great time at Greggs ❤️

Extremely disappointing. Ordered two gluten free fish suppers and a non non gf fish online and paid for it. Got a pick up time. Went to collect but told they hadn’t accepted my order and they weren’t doing gf today - so I would get my money back. Despite the staff telling me this in front of a big sign detailing their gf menu. So we went away angry and starving to buy something to cook at home. I did get a text to say order was not accepted but by then I was driving to pick it up and didn’t see it until later. Great. Apparently coeliacs don’t eat dinner everyday.

All awesome, perfect for a drink with lovely bartenders I highly recommended coming here

Called in for quick lunch, despite bieng nearly empty service was dreadful, tables not clean, staff were too busy chatting about themselves to bother with customers ! Had a toastie which was very average and they forgot my coffee! Shame as its a very cool space which could be a great venue.

Always attentive staff, one of the only places you can get Soa milk if you are celiac, lots of places now only offer glutenous oat milks. A little tired, needs a make over for 2025.

BRITISH CHINESE FOOD. Don’t come here if you’re wanting authentic Chinese, even by Chinese standards this is terrible as our meal had a lot of its the sauce based on mixing using water and cornflour. I was very dissatisfied especially growing up with eating Chinese food. I had also ordered a hot pot but was delivered a small portion of mixed food in a small cast iron bowl less than the size of my hand. If any real person has had a hot pot, IT WAS CLEARLY NOT THAT! I had the manager take away our food and tell us “ that was the way they cooked their food” . If any real person has had Chinese food, they would know that was a diabolical response if the chef were to be happy to serve a bland overpriced meal. Do your bank and belly a favour, I can not express enough this was the most disappointing food and service at a restaurant I’ve experienced and not go.

Poor menu, dreadful service. The wait staff weren't interested. Waited an hour for our food. My scampi was soggy and had evidently been left out for a long time. Would not go back, even of the place wasn't permanently closed

Friendly pub. Wine was a good price. We watched the football match, good atmosphere. It was quiet when we were there bit it is often very busy. Some of wooden bench seats uncomfortable.
