Costa Coffee in Northumberland

Am gluten free and you don't do toasties so it's coffee only for me in there now

Good location parking great. Staff are friendly and efficient. Coffee is always spot on. Food is an issue if you can't eat bacon, cheese or spicy dressings. A couple of basic sandwiches would help Chicken salad or Tuna/sweetcorn.. We don't all like grilled cheese on everything. Just a bit of helpful info.. Coffee /staff and location great. A++

Decent enough Costa, but not sure why I had to wait at the counter for our food, when there was enough staff to drop it across to our table, when it was ready…

Alexandria served me today at 12.30 31/10/24 and was really friendly, the cafe was really busy and the service at the drive through was excellent. All the staff at this branch are always lovely.

Went for our coffee as usual. Disappointed that it was needed to ask for our flat white coffee to be made with blue milk. Staff not happy and said it is always made with blue milk. Not the case as the customer before us had their coffee made with green milk.

Coffee was the worst yet. It's usually lovely. Had flat whites and they had little froth on them and very weak. When I asked a question two of the employees looked at each other and made 'eyes'! Not a nice situation to be in. The staff are usually lovely.

Good place for coffee, hot chocolate, and food, lovely and clean, and you know what you can get in a Costa.

Flat whites that are oversize and basically a large latte. Won’t revisit.

We ordered a hot chocolate which was tasteless, have you cut back on your amount of chocolate that you put in it, this is the second time in a row this has happened

Have frequently popped in for coffee and a bite to eat..... We can't believe how this Costa coffee shop at the new Meadows shopping outlet Berwick upon Tweed has gone down hill. There has been a broken toilet seat in loo for months upon months! There were 10 tables full of cups plates etc! I had to clear and clean our table with hand wipes! I saw one member of staff look round but did nothing to clear tables...... Most of the time they were to back of shop on mobile phones! One man in front of us in qué was waiting a while for his coffee but the person serving him didn't tell him it was there! Then we noticed he had to go back up to counter when he was finished his coffee! Staff more a social event rather than providing the service they are supposed to!

Not a very welcoming store, very bland, staff were polite, but average. Coffee was ok, have had far better. Expensive.

Smashing little Costa, lovely staff. Very handy stop before or in between shops on the estate.

A little stop on the way to the airport. Delicious cortado coffee and creamy cappuccin. Aromatic, strong enough, no sour taste. place in a good location, ample parking.

Coffee was great and I was served quickly. Finally on this very long road trip I get a great mocha. If I was staying close by, I’d be back everyday

Great new costa coffee not long opened in Berwick.

Great example of the franchise. Handily located just off the A1 we stopped as it's halfway between Edinburgh and Newcastle. Everything was well stocked and the staff really friendly and helpful. Place was super clean and had a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Absolutely lovely staff! We popped in for tea to go and the young girl who served us (sorry we couldn't see her name tag) was absolutely lovely and provided wonderful service. She took such care to make sure she made a great cup of tea for us and was just so lovely to talk to. Great care in her work!

Really nice Costa, it has a drive thru and a seating area. There is also space for outdoor seating too, if the weather is nice. Loads of parking. Staff were really nice and friendly and worked quickly to make the drinks. It was quite popular when we called but the queue went down very quickly. The indoor seating area was clean and tidy. Will call again when we are next driving past.

Shame really....tries to be all things to all people. Not a cosy Costa. Tables squeezed in tightly. Children running around madly. Chaotic vibe. Service and food good though.

Good things: it's clean and warm. Things that could be better: speed. There is a lot of dallying and it means people are waiting way longer than necessary. Also, using tongs across vegetable and meat products isn't the best.

Quick service, ample parking, just as you expect for a coffee and snack. One of my favourites for a catch up with friends.

All toilets broken, absolutely a disgrace.

Best Costa coffee shop in Berwick

Really like this Costa Coffee. Staff are really friendly. Plenty of space on the inside and it has a drive thru. Very ideal! Lots of parking.

Price: £ Staff: 9/10 Drinks: 10/10 Atmosphere: 10/10 Very happy to see a new branch of Costa opening up in town however, was left somewhat short of happy with the experience in store for my first visit. It is a shame to say that our experience wasn’t so great, as there were some really friendly members of staff in the store, however the girl who served us was pretty miserable and abrupt - not really someone you want serving customers on a till. There was no greeting or communication, just a ‘what do you want?’. I am aware that it is a new store so there will be teething problems, like the beans app scanner not working yet, however I also tried to order the autumn special to be told there was none. Proceeded to order another drink, to again be told there was none. Other than that, the store is immaculate, well presented and comfortable and other than one member of staff, everyone else was cheery and happy, so I do look forward to returning. Have edited to reflect a better review of the store since returning.

A really great addition to Berwick. Very handy location right next to the A1, Aldi and Morrisons. Love the drive through option! Inside is neat & tidy, and well laid out. Will be lovely to sit outside from the spring too. Staff are lovely providing a friendly and welcoming service and atmosphere.

Always consistently good. Great food, coffee and cold drinks. All staff very friendly and helpful.

Asked for a caramel and vanilla latte only to get home and realise i have a cuppacino :/
