Coped well with a very busy Good Friday service

As a British Bangladeshi, I love my curry and eat at lots of Bangladeshi Restaurants. I like to compare dishes and I ask for a dish that was not on the menu (Soft Lamb Shatkora) Soft tender lamb as opposed to Lamb Tikka. It was absolutely delicious, just the right amount of heat, and the Shatkora (Bitter Cirtus fruit) was soft and not over the top. My mouth is watering while writing this. They were very busy the night I went, but the waiter was brilliant under stress. What a gem of a place, hope I can visit again soon.

The Spice Valley is a hidden gem. When you drive into the car park, it almost looks like an entrance to a large business park. From the outside, it doesn't look much. The bulk of the trade seemed to be takeaways. we ate in and wow, the food is excellent, very reasonably priced and served by very friendly people, this is one I would highly recommend.

Very friendly helpful staff, lovely to have a meal in the sunshine. Food was delicious and a good range for vegetarians. Alcohol free too.

This is the best take out in the area. Although it has very little competition it still manages to produce Asian food at a high standard and reasonable price.a

We chose this Indian based on the positive reviews. I'm not sure if the other reviewers usually eat out of bins or what but this was the most shocking Indian cuisine we've had in a long time. Red flags appeared when we ordered drinks and were served totally FLAT sodas out of a big bottle, no ice or garnish either. We looked at each other and said if they think it's OK to serve those drinks then we have no hope for the standard of the food. We were right. The chicken was definitely frozen and/or had added water. The lamb was extremely strong and tough (suspect mutton) none of us ate the meat. The onion bhaji was served in a pool of oil. Chips were frozen and hard. Honest the most disappointing Indian food we've ever had. And we eat a lot. Can only presume that the locals here have nothing to compare it too so the owners get away with providing the bare minimum.

Cracking take away. Wife was a bit disappointed in the vegetarian options but since she’s not a veggie I wonder why🥴. The madras band home style curry I had were top notch and the Dahl delicious. The memsahib said the onion bahjis were spot on. So overall a very pleasant experience which I’d recommend

Absolutely delicious food, friendly and welcoming staff who were more than happy to chat. Best peshwari naan we’ve eaten (& we eat it a lot). Really interesting location which we enjoyed and if we are back in the area we will most definitely be visiting again (so good we are there twice in a week).

Usually I'd get something a bit more interesting than a Chicken Tikka Masala but upon walking in, that happened to be exactly what I fancied and you did not disappoint my taste buds! One of, if not the best Tikka Masala I have ever had. Wonderful food, great location!

Excellent choice of curries to choose from.We were all pleased with the choices we had made. Only downside was that we didn't know there was no alcohol served,and that you could have brought your own. But that did not stop us from enjoying our food.

Staff is friendly. Madras curry is great and portions are big. Food overall is good but the kurma curry is very, very sweet. If you like a dessert curry then this is for you.

We were visiting the area , and got a takeaway from here , was friendly service , the food was excellent and the biggest and Juiciest king prawns we have ever had from a takeaway , if we were in the area again definitely go back , well recommend.

They said they only do takeaways eventhough tables were laid out with cutlery. So,. they're either lying to us as we were bikers or they're stupid for laying tables.

Absolutely disgusting service, it should not have a restaurant licence it should only be a takeaway. Not happy at all having to wait for one hour and twenty minutes and had not even received any starter's. We were there for a special birthday but will NOT be going back.

Excellent food, cooked fresh, so there is short wait. Polite and efficient person taking phone orders. Can get busy early evening, so wait can be up to an hour. But it is well worth waiting!

I used to get butter chicken from here every week intell they changed chief or owners not sure which one but wasn't anything like the old butter chicken which was the best
