In the Beds & Herts area there are only a few Italian deli's selling real Italian meats, cheeses, bread and staple foods. I found this gem in the heart of Luton and it's well worth a 15 mile trek into this town, if only for this shop. The lady that runs the business is wonderful, friendly and very helpful. In fact everyone in the shop at my time of visit were very nice. There's no much parking around, but I managed to get a space on the road a few yards from the shop. Beware, once you enter the shop you will want to buy everything. I can recommend the sausages, bread and cheeses. If like me your not used to making your own sauce there is a good selection of proper Italian brands. There is a café next door but it was closed at my time of visit.

Absolutely amazing and authentic. Was craving home made Pakistani food and this is the closest it gets. I ordered through uber eats and the last time I had this was 4 years ago so I was excited to try flamers again. I got my favourite the lamb karahi, masala fish and daal. Absolutely amazing and lush, with fast delivery.

Home delivery so can't rate atmosphere. If I could give 10 stars I would. 2nd time we've ordered from here and both been good-a year apart. Last time I ordered garlic king prawns, very spicy but tasted fresh, not rubbery (but that's on me as I've never ordered that dish before). This time the beef in oyster sauce was magnificent, fresh tasting ingredients. Definitely a winner. Whole family were very happy and full from their meal: Chicken in black bean sauce Sweet and sour chicken balls Beef in oyster sauce Beef fried rice Singapore fried rice Chips Prawn crackers This maybe our forever go to takeaway. X

This was our last ever visit to The Warden Beefeater as it shuts its doors forever on Sunday. This venue has been such a part of my life events over the years as it has been for many. Shame on Whitbread for not realising what a special place this is for all the locals. No consultation offered or details of what this will become . The Warden Tavern we will miss you !

Waited over 25 minutes for my child’s food, over 3 other people who were behind us in being served received their meals, whereas my 5 year old son was left crying for his food. Never coming to this branch again, and all the manager could do was say sorry. Other Nandos have had better service. Maybe have someone more experienced at managing situations. The least they could’ve done was seen there were chips on the meal to have handed that to him whilst they act on getting it done. I had to request it myself. They really are clueless and have no empathy.
