Unimpressed with Easyjet. Whilst putting hand luggage through for scanning there was a massive queue and one member of staff trying to deal with it - no other staff were interested in assisting - not my idea of a well run business!

A large and very busy airport. Relatively easy to get to grips with. Lots of shops and it's closer to Oxford than Stansted.

Security was actually rather fast, though we were made to walk 3km through the massive zig zag queuing system, which ultimately lead to me drinking more when I got through.

Wheelchair accessible entrance. ATM machines for currency exchange. Great and helpful staff. Checking in is simple and easy. Security check is fast and sitting space available. Got lots of places for food (Burger king, Chopstix, etc), coffee and drinks. Clean toilets for all. It’s Got prayer rooms for Muslims. A train service into London and a bus service to different parts including Milton Keyes. You can wait for flight for 4 hours and not be bored.

Good going out. But coming back always have a long wait for cases to be put on the belt to collect

Fast and efficient check-in while waiting for departure, lots of nice places to drink coffee, nice boutiques and promotions.

An unpleasant, shabby place. Especially if you don't want to have landed there in the first place.

Confused in mid car park and pick up/drop off station and they are far away from airport... and long time waiting at security check ☹️☹️

However, it's good until you get on the plane, after which you have to wait because you don't know if it's leaving

Well well haven't they improved Luton airport When we used to come it was awful but it's all been done up even a monorail from train station. Lots of shops and the only area that I recognised was around by burger king.... Well done Pleasure to fly from...

An airport which seems to be continually undergoing "improvement" works but remains steadfastly awful, only in a slightly different way each time I go there. I only go back because it's convenient.

It's an airport, took us 100 minutes from walking off the plane to getting the transfer bus to the carpark. The queue leading to passport control was very long, 2 lanes turn into one as they enter the lanes, could be better layed out. The airport was clean with cleaners walking around all day picking up kak ignorant people drop onto the floor instead of placing into the numerous bins

Faster process than stansted but chaotic outside transport waiting times. Too much going on in a tiny space

Too crowded, too many shops, not enough seating

A second rate airport. I would avoid it if I could.

Nice size airport not too busy like lhr or gtw airports, lots of eating and drinking places, Landside and airside One of the easy park and have your car parked from car park 1 next to terminal at a great price

Easy fast smooth transition also bought my euros at airport on departure and changed my raining euros on the way back saving money on exchange

All very easy & like clockwork until you get to the arrivals queue for passport checks. Is there a staff shortage or do I fall on the busiest times possible?

Nice clean airport. Fast security check . Easy to find your boarding gate

It’s getting better. The lounge is still overcrowded and under staffed since Covid days. Don’t expect to get any phone reception anywhere, and certainly don’t expect the wifi to work.

Well, I've already been to a nicer place, but compared to Poprad, it's great😁, the climate is terrible, after an hour it's unbearable

Dropoff and pickup point in Midterm car park. Over 10mins walk due to the fire at the normal pick up point. If it's raining and you got heavy bags, it's tricky. However there is an express dropoff point costing £5 for 5mins and there after £1 per minute.

Due to Brexit, more than an hour to go through passport control

Got dropped off here today yo fly to Cyprus for a 2 week holiday. Easy to self check in.Use every year.

Great airport, great facilities, good location, easy access helpful staff good selection of shops

Tax-free shops, bars, high street shops, not too big. Train shuttle running between the airport and the Luton Airport Parkway train station has improved the experience massively.

Easy option with no bags to check in

The usual miserable experience of a regional airport. Long queues everywhere. New security scanners installed meaning you can now keep liquids and laptops inside hand luggage. 100ml limit still applies. You will however experience the same "quality" of miserable faced min wage staff barking at you to remove your belts etc. Once past you are forced through the usual retail experience so you can cover yourself in the fragrances you cant afford. Welcome to the food hall emporium of overpriced booker/3663 delivered filth they call food. Of course i avoid and go to the lounge where seating is g'teed however the shellsuit brigade have managed to save up their benefits and have stormed this oasis of calm. Of course any airport lounge which has to display placards reminding customers of the required level of behaviour isnt a lounge in my opinion. But hey. Its luton so the My Lounge is the best you will get. Again. Same level of nutitional filth you will find on the concourse with slightly less miserable staff who might just have a better command of English than the rest. On todays visit I did find the cheapest food item to be a plain cheese sandwich from Boots at £1.50 and the cheapest drink from Pret being black filter coffee for just 99p a cup. If you need milk, pop back to the "Love Breakfast" servery as they have the little milk sachets available on the counter which you can just help yourself to. Or pick up before going to Pret thereby saving you about half a million quid. Its quite apparent that the airport cant cope with the number of passengers now. Queues everywhere for toilets. Overall. A reasonably miserable experience this morning Roll on next month when i return to LHR and the peace and tranquility of a premium airport lounge.

Security is an absolute mess and they seem to very understaffed and trying to get you to pay for express security

What an awful experience. The drop off and pick up isn't where the sign post sends you . After finding yourself going the wrong way you are sent to get a bus to the pick up. This isn't signposted correctly. Wait ages. No seat, little shelter from cold and rain. Get off bus then walk a long route round car park to get into the parking area. There's only a 20 minute wait at the drop off! Plan carefully if you have difficulty with mobility

Access from the city center: 12-18 pounds by train. Large queues for inspection - it's worth being there early

Very good but we got a bit wet going from the taxis to the entrance as it was raining. Very well organised inside though .

Security very slow around 6:30pm hardly any lanes open, most bags getting pulled.

Large airport close to the city

Average airport, entry into the country is a bit slow due to the long line, but otherwise it's fine. Disadvantage: the city center is far away, the road leading there is long and difficult.

One of the most remote London airports yet still easily accessible from the centre of the city or even further south. Slightly overcrowded at times but not much to complain compared with some other ones

Quick getting off plane and through terminal. Outbound traffic is terrible currently

Overpriced car parking with no spaces often in mid term.... With riduculous expectations that people should walk to the main terminal for the privilege..... Totally unsuitable for many groups of people and just a money making exercise.

Overall experience was plaisent but prices are absolutely ridiculous. Especially on the fist place to eat the big smoke. Beer are almost £8. But the worst thing is the service, absolutely rubbish, with zero customer service or customer satisfaction, just did not care! Toast and jam... Ridiculous small amount of jam for the price of nearly £4.

It's good as far as airports go. Modern terminal building with lots of facilities (landside) and huge shopping area (airside). Prices in the shops are not cheap despite being duty or VAT free. Often, it will be cheaper to use online sellers while at home. Don't get carried away and buy too much!

The airport itself is fairly well laid out and pleasant now, but the parking is still painful. Every option appears to involve paying a lot of money and ending up on a bus. Hopefully, once they are finished, construction things return to normal.

Great Food Court worked well N London.

It is bigger than I imagined, it has good shops and food, it is far from the city of London, from here you can travel to various places in Europe, it is recommended to go early.

Pick up being in Mid stay. Free for 20 minutes (or a £95 fine for overrunning this), but it's 10 minutes walk from the terminal along the road. Pick up bays made from uncompacted hardcore rocks and pedestrians funnelled through barriers to get up the carpark. Surely this could be made to atleast look remotely finished and give the impression of being a "London airport"

Horrible passport control. 2 non-British stands for 4 arriving aircraft. Almost an hour of standing. I hate this airport.

An airport which has the rail connectivity of Botswana and the parking infrastructure of Venice. The security queues are obviously trying to rival an ex-soviet republic border point and will surely help you achieve those 10000 steps.

Chaotic, but understandable as the large indoor car park is ruined by a terrible fire ...

Departures side of things was okay, mum has some mobility issues so we used special assistance that got us through slightly quicker. Arrivals a different story the corridors are dated and grim very long queues but they did move fairly quickly

Had to pick someone up from the pick up point, it was a nightmare to find for both of us.

Good airport, good facilities but there is only one drinking water fountain available (or at least I found one only). Transport from the car parks is relatively quick.

It is difficult to find some sitting places when waiting for flight.

Awful...no idea where to go from the drop off point...rubbish signage and staff just looked at you with confusion. Very very poor...departure lounge packed with queues and no seating.

We basically had no choice but to fly from here. The last time I did, there was work going on inside. Now it's outside. I read that it will take 20 years. Not good.

Today, exceptionally, it was way less horrible than usual. Strong two stars!

The inside is okay. Just okay. The outside of this place is unbelievable - not in a good way. It's as though Luton Airport doesn't care what image it projects to visitors from other countries because as soon as you get outside there's about 1/4 mile walk - not all undercover - to either the car park or where a driver can pick up passengers. Yes, there are buses you can get, but they're not easy to work out which bus stop you need etc. If you don't speak English well it's virtually impossible. This place seems to have been under some kind of construction for absolutely years! Like, about 5 years. It's a super un-user-friendly airport and doesn't feel like it has travellers/customers at its heart at all. A horrible experience.

Well we arrived on time but because off all the rain flight crew were late, no one told anyone so arrived at gate and were being processed when they changed mind and brought everyone back, no notification of problem untill last minute, then they said would be 15 mins, yeh right 1/2-3/4 hour later we started to board, then sat there for a further 15mins. Had a good pilot who made up time and landed 1/2 late.

Well connected by buses to other London airports. Due to construction, taxi drivers no longer enter the premises, you have to get off before the bridge.

Arrived at Luton Airport after a long flight at 1am, only to find our baby’s buggy soaking wet from the rain. No effort was made to protect it or keep it dry. After such a long journey, it would have been appreciated if the airport staff had taken some basic steps to prevent this. To make matters worse, it took an hour for the buggies to arrive. Why aren’t buggies given priority, especially when families with young children are waiting? It made an already exhausting trip even more frustrating. Very disappointed with the lack of care and efficiency from the airport.

First time I'm flying fron Luton airport. Compared to Heathrow this one is small. The staffs are quite helpful. I like the way they arranged the duty free area. You can get allmost all types of fastfoods in tge waiting area. The air wents in tge airport made me really chilly. I'm wearing jacket. If you can provide a warmer area at the waiting space.. I would apriciate that. Overall good airport 👍🏻

Used to love traveling from Luton airport as was convenient, however have recently noticed their new security systems/scanners etc seem less efficient. Examples being: 1. It seems to take a lot longer going through the security screening in general, huge queues whilst waiting for the mandatory full body scan 2. Was told to leave everything incl liquid inside my bag, at the other end, had to wait for somebody to inspect the liquid inside my bag. 🤔 Not great, but hopefully will improve over time

Check in, security and boarding very quick

We chose a flight without too many people likely to be around. The airport was brilliant. Got straight through all procedures and processes without waiting much.

Great airport! Super friendly and helpful staff! An incredible streamline process from front door to boarding. The outlets are very expensive as can be expected in an airport, but there's plenty of diversity of food and drinks, for all range of dietary needs.

After replacing the bus with the train, the comfort of changing to the train to London increased significantly. The biggest drawback, apart from the travel time, is the repeated queues at passport control. Adding a few more (or ensuring that all existing ones work) electronic check-in gates could help.

When you ring a taxi and they don't where the special assistant pick up and drop off is , not very clear directions

Probably the smallest simplest airport in London. Customs is a breeze and the gates are 5 mins away. Starbucks wins the moment because I forgot about my hour wait . Before I knew it I was on the plane

There were a lot of travelers today, but everything went very smoothly.

Very long queues at passport control but baggage reclaim and customs very quick.

The port inside seems friendly, it's clean and there are a lot of shops. The bigger problem is outside, there are renovations everywhere and it takes a very long time

LLA gets a lot of unfair reviews but it’s a really good airport in my opinion. Road and train access has improved massively over the years. 35 minutes from North London by road and 30 minutes from London by train. A lot of works currently going on since the fire and they’re trying to get things moving as quickly as possible. People just need to be a little more patient and allow plenty of time.

Luton Airport, I expected problems because of the recent car park fire but no, it went very well indeed. Some temporary barriers within the airport redirecting travellers but all went well. The plane, baggage collection and passport control very very good, impressed.

Still excavated, they have been working for 13 years

Great assistance staff, easy bag drop off, security was fast and easy..

Plenty of places to eat and sit down. It was busy but efficient.
