The airport is like an airport, low-cost flights fly from here, there are necessary shops and restaurants. Security check is quick and hassle-free. Access to and from the airport is also uncomplicated and good. I switched to rail a few years ago and I consider it the best means of transport. Prices at the airport are ok for an airport. Relatively clean both the terminal and the toilets.

"A Smooth and Pleasant Airport Experience!" I recently traveled through London Luton Airport , and I was pleasantly surprised by how efficient and well-organized everything was. The check-in process was quick, security lines moved smoothly, and the staff was professional and friendly. The airport was clean, well-maintained, and had plenty of seating areas to relax before my flight. The variety of food options was great, with both quick snacks and sit-down restaurants available. I also appreciated the free Wi-Fi and charging stations, which made waiting for my flight much more comfortable. Overall, London Luton Airport provided a stress-free travel experience, and I would definitely choose to fly through here again. Highly recommended!

Posters saying “rudeness to staff will not be tolerated” How about rudeness to passengers will not be tolerated please? The way they speak to you here is disgusting and appalling. The security are rude, the bars are rude, the shop prices are all wrong and it’s overall just a bloody joke, like luton itself to be brutally honest. The airport as a whole is easy to navigate, clean and tidy however so in that respect, it’s okay to travel from if you don’t mind being spoken to like you’re scum.

A modern airport, check-in is fast, the toilets and the area are maintained and clean

Hateful place full of staff who look like they don't want to be there. Everything from the car park to the security to check into the cleaners. No manners, no politeness.... Just a means for an end for flying away you need to be.....

Travel in and out of Luton fairly frequently and I have to say that they are doing a great job. With all the works that are happening, especially after the fire, it's not been too bad getting around and certainly clear walking paths. There is the drawback of the paid drop off area that can get very congested. I'm sure people are being charged more than the £5 fee when it's virtually impossible to get in there sometimes! The other thing about Luton is getting through customs. It is much easier and quicker with the scans and the fact you don't have to empty your bags/carry-ons (doesn't take a genius to figure out that they are scanned anyway, so I wish other airports would do the same!) so whilst there are a lot of passengers passing through, it's so much easier on the queues. Definitely a plus. It's a shame airport staff can't be more pleasant, I believe it is possible to be both courteous and authoritative at the same time ...

No smoking option after security check... I would have expected at a London airport... Runs smoothly... Lots of shopping options, including food. Clean toilets. Fits!

Worst airport to use. Badly organised, badly sign posted and badly manned. Announcements are made from a poor public address system where sound echoes and no one understands a word. There is no manned information desk either on the inside nor outside for the arriving passengers. All of this is exacerbated during outside of normal business hours. Phone signal is very poor once inside past security and WiFi provided is even worst. So one cannot even use the Easyjet app to receive any proper flight updates when the flight is delayed.

I've used Njeghang Global for a few shipments, and overall, I'm satisfied with their services. Their online platform is user-friendly, and their customer support team is helpful. However, there was one instance where our shipment was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances. While Njeghang Global's team communicated the issue promptly and worked to resolve it, I felt that they could have done more to prevent the delay in the first place. Nevertheless, I appreciate their efforts to make things right and would consider using their services again in the future.

Fast track security is so awkward you go through a small hallway then your met by 100s of people faceing you in massive ques and you basically have to push in front of all of them on your own, knowone there to say come forward saying your turn. So you just stand there like an idiot feeling awkward and rude hopeing someone that has been queing a hour or so will let you jump the que terrible. They should have a seprete lane for fast track secuirity not a horrible merging one. The area were you wait and hang out is rammed walked in and around about 5 places not more than 2 seats availible so forced to sit down on one of those seats in the middle of the hall faceing people.This was out of season no school or bank holidays booked aswell so bugger trying at a busy period. I thought id check out the lounges you can book for £37 but they was rammed to like sardines.

BEWARE of scams and transportation problems. I will start by saying that Luton is north of London and it is not that easy to get there from London. If you want to return to London or use Uber you will run into a serious problem, first you must walk about 10 minutes to a parking lot and you will find that Ubers and other platforms have little offer here, not many arrive and those that do try to inflate the price with a dynamic rate (some even turn off the app to try to negotiate with you above the price in the current rate). My advice is to look for the right bus or get to London by train (approximately 24 pounds). Going out on the left you will see some yellow ticket machines, when you buy you will see an escalator with a shuttle that takes you to the train station. The direction to St. Páncreas that left platform 1 worked for me. The airport itself is small and functional although, if you are coming from London, you must plan well how to get there and leave because it is NOT in London (and some low-cost airlines sell it that way).

The staff was rude and I was blackmailed to go through their new technology gates. I agreed on full search of my luggage even though they have scanned with new technology my bags already. He forced me to go through their new technology gate knowing that I was unwell(I have chronic inflammation in body going on) and then telling me that I willingly agreed to it. Already controlled lagguage was going to be checked for an hour. I only had rucksack with me. The search could make me late for my flight I was suggested. I found them rude and unwilling to cope with something different. As a result of this encounter I was more unwell the next day with swollen hand and shoulder. The encounter was stressful and very unpleasant. Will be avoiding this airport.

everyone should avoid the Luton Airport Pick Up / Drop Off, that's a scam, I have paid £5 for that 5mins parking, and day after they send me the ticket said I didn't pay for that, and no way to appeal

Luton Airport is ok,loads of shops and coffee shops, but when your flight is delayed, more than 3 hours ,it would be nice to have a place for smokers.

I couldn't bring in bottled water for my baby's food. They asked for a doctor's prescription, which I find completely absurd. Another family was allowed to bring in a bottle. In Spain, that use is allowed. I don't understand why the policies vary in different countries.

Convenience to get into the terminal is great. 20 steps from the bus stops. Disembarking from the aircraft going through immigration, customs and to the bus stop within half an hour.

The airport is very ugly but it has everything you need. The connection to the city by train is great and there are options to eat inside.

Dropoff and pickup point in Midterm car park. Over 10mins walk due to the fire at the normal pick up point. If it's raining and you got heavy bags, it's tricky. However there is an express dropoff point costing £5 for 5mins and there after £1 per minute.

Horrible, they made us wait for a missed flight on the stairs. No explanation, nothing. Shock!

Drove into long-term parking lot and collected ticket. This is where the link buses drop off so you can collect your car after your flight returns to UK. My sister was returning after her trip to Malta and I'd waited just 30 minutes in the car park ford her. Excellent free parking up to one hour. Good value for money.

A nice small airport, everything is close to everything and there is no need for special transportation if you are not a family/group.

Efficient airport that is easy to navigate around. Staff are helpful and processes like security and passport control are fast. Can't say much about what it's like during the peak season, but if you're travelling outside the peak seasons, Luton is a certainly good option. There are multiple ways such as bus or train, to get into London, but be sure to book early as they can get quite pricey.

A pretty rundown airport, with not enough space for all travelers, nowhere to sit when it's really busy. Super slow security check. We paid for fast track, but we ended up having to wait with the rest of the crowd for whatever reason . We went through the nightmare when we had to fly out and the same bad experience coming back. With 3-4 flights landing at the same time and only 20% security checks openned, hundreds of people had to queque for what it felt forever. Avoid at all costs! It is better to pay more , but travel with comfort.

I've been through so many security airports in the world, and Luton airport in my experience has the rudest security workers I've ever encountered. I've seen them shout at people and for the smallest things, when it could have been said politely. There's no respect for people and they abuse their authority. And the parking is an absolute rip off and it's forever changing.

Avoid Luton airport at all means, unless your flight through this airport is at least £200 cheaper than flying through other London airports it it is not worth the stress and you may end up incurring more costs. Getting to and from this airport is a compete nightmare - overbooked buses, trains to the airport are most of the time cancelled last minute, uber is super expensive. Some tips if you made a mistake to book flight through Louton : Transport from London to LTN: Uber - best option but very expensive (up to £100) Bus - cheaper than uber but take 2h without traffic (with traffic could be up to 3-4h). ‼️ Be ware ‼️ Buses do not stop at the airport departures gate, they stop at a bus-stop outside the airport and from there you have to walk on your feet for about 20min with all your luggage or wait for the airport bus which is not very frequent. Make sure you book bus ticket in advance. Trains - avoid if you can, trains are completely unreliable, especially early mornings/winter time. Worst part is they only tell you they are cancelled once you are there, and they keep giving you hope that next one will come. If you see even one train being cancelled best is to give up and get uber otherwise you are 100% missing your flight. I once left from Central London 3 hours in advance of my flight and missed the flight because they cancelled 3 trains in a row and even though I switched to uber couldn’t make it. Transport from LTN to London: Uber - best option but very expensive (up to £100) Train - cheaper than uber and better than bus but frequently cancelled Bus - book in advance especially in winter time trains get cancelled so buses get overbooked and people start fighting to get on the bus - you will witness the worst of humanity on those days 😄I once waited 3h in a very cold winter as all the next 3 buses were loaded, it was complete nightmare. Conclusion: Avoid by all means, even flying on a different day so you can skip flying from here will be better off ☀️

Clean, good air conditioning. It is convenient to get to the airport. It's just not clear why you have to pay £4.95 for the shuttle from the train station to the airport (3 minutes total travel time)?

We arrived on a Saturday and the connections were terrible, nothing like it if it were during the week. In the end all the National bus tickets were sold out and we had to wait 2 hours for the next one, which also takes 1h35 minutes to get to London. A disaster. In the end we found a Greenline company counter, next to the National machines and they left immediately although they left us at Victoria station in an hour

As an airport employee myself... incredibly rude staff, no good morning, no hi, no nothing, the tone of the voice!!!! I could never!!! I work at the airport as well, and would never allow myself to speak the way they did!!! Plus we waited 1 hour 15 minutes for the passport control, and missed the bus we paid for!! Even the bus left 1 minute early!!!! What a scam!!

Luton Drop Off is ripping customers it’s not budget Airport but eventually end up paying more than other airports, they charge drop off per minute I drop off and paid online £5 for drop off as it was written on drop off area they accepted it than they refund me £5 later and said it’s £1/min send me PCN of £95 and ask me to pay, by the entrance they written £1/ minute charge, guys be careful about the scam of the airport it’s unethical practices by ripping people lawfully it’s a scam everyone needs to be aware of I also send it to many others.

they didn't give us our buggy until after security at the oversize luggage point next to the bagage belt. Imagine is midnight and u have an infant and a toddler, and you are traveling alone, and you can't put the toddler to sleep in her own buggy .i was having the infant in a carrier. they provide a super simple kind of buggy but is not next to the gate, just next to the passport section, so I carried them in my arms until there. the buggy they provide should be next to the door when u disembark the plane ! then maybe should not be allowed to play the piano after 10? there is a piano just next to the exit close to Mark and spencer and a little girl around 10 years old was banging on it for more then 10 minutes while we waited for our pick up , it was past midnight and i was with 2 sleeping kids, there was no electricity in any of the shops around they were all closed, there was no seats available only by the toilet or by the freezing door. Awful experience.

I don't know if I'm just unlucky, but whenever I go through that airport the organisation seems to be in complete disarray. Steps not ready for the aircraft, no buses to take passengers to the terminal, queues a mile long to get through passport control. They say, because of unusually high number of incoming aircraft. It's almost as if these flights are not scheduled, and their arrivals have come as a complete surprise to them. On top of that they have staff to supposedly assist you who can barely speak English, shouting instructions, with everybody standing around looking confused, saying "I didn't understand a word of that"

Transport links are expensive and unreliable. Watch out for days when replacement bus services are being advertised. You're better off using other airports on those days if you can. A so called 'replacement' bus service was in place today, with unsuitable buses that were merely the regular service buses picking up passengers along the route and not designed to hold luggage. Passengers were told to balance their suitcases on their knees to allow more passengers on. Added an extra two hours to my journey. Will think twice before using Luton Airport again.

Easy check-in & security experience think I was through into departures within 15 minutes. Plenty of food and drink options both air & landside staff were helpful. Terminal is bright and modern. Immigration hall is a bit dated but from my understanding that's Border force's responsibility however we were through very quickly. I would fly from Luton again quite happily.

Everything about the Luton Airport experience is miserable from the lack of seating to paying for the drop off zone. Recently saw that it’s been voted the world’s 4th worst airport which is no surprise

The terminal itself is modern and convenient. But for an hour and three minutes of parking they charge £35. This is a rip off, considering that it’s a very long walk to the parking lot with heavy luggage.

Beware of the drop off pick up area.. It's a daylight robbery.. A silent scammer.. No barrier or parking ticket and it is not free even for 5 minutes.. What do you expect for a first timer.. Youll get fined 95 pounds only because you dont expect to pay online just for 5mins drop off.. Whoever runs this airport sure making lots money of it

One of the worst departure lounges possible: workspaces with desks are rare and all occupied because the airport takes a long time to show the gates and all passengers are in a single waiting area. Very dirty and crowded bathrooms.

Welcome to the new Luton airport, new arrivals hall, new duty free, new lounges and new security. Still not my favourite airport by quite a bit. I wish I could say it's a big improvement but it's not. The entire renovation is not designed to make travelers live's easier in any way. They seem to have forgotten to renovate the WiFi and where it can be accessed from, it's still a joke, captive portal struggles to load then just gives an error, see images on review (it's 7pm on a Tuesday so not very busy) and just incase you did get connected expect not to be able to join calls or do any meetings because they seem to be doing QoS which kills any web based calls. (Get yourself a VPN to use the WiFi). Car rental "village" feels like a cardboard shed with half of it under construction if it's cold bring extra layers for when your picking up your rental car. On a positive note the shuttle bus is much more regular now! A second star added/retained for upgrading the scanners at security, a welcomed upgrade! Still hating the size of the forced path through duty free, allow lots of time to weave through the mess of people in the attempt to be a shopping centre. #lookup and refuse to engage and buy. The only positive is the number of restaurants and things to do has increased dramatically, however expect extortionate pricing and disappointing food at most of these (the American smoked meats place after duty free is a great example of this) Nandos was a solid safe bet but that's been removed. Drop off zone is quite a walk from the airport entrance so make sure you are comfortable carrying a large case for the walk to the entrance from the car. If it's raining you will get soaked. There is a different review for the upstairs lounge but spoiler alert, more of the same. TLDR: if you have the option, fly from a different airport, it was a much better experience before the renovation.

Experience has improved since the refurbishment

They take perfumes to use with almost no use. Then they figure out that they can create one for themselves. The shipping cost suddenly exceeds the cost of the perfume. Perfumes go to employees. I do not recommend this airport. I've had the same perfume for 6 years and I've never had a problem, suddenly I can't find it with me.

I always use this airport, I get there what I need, they have shops open early.
