Check in, security and boarding very quick

We chose a flight without too many people likely to be around. The airport was brilliant. Got straight through all procedures and processes without waiting much.

Was that an airport, really??? Thought it was bus station.

Great airport! Super friendly and helpful staff! An incredible streamline process from front door to boarding. The outlets are very expensive as can be expected in an airport, but there's plenty of diversity of food and drinks, for all range of dietary needs.

When you ring a taxi and they don't where the special assistant pick up and drop off is , not very clear directions

After replacing the bus with the train, the comfort of changing to the train to London increased significantly. The biggest drawback, apart from the travel time, is the repeated queues at passport control. Adding a few more (or ensuring that all existing ones work) electronic check-in gates could help.

It's ok, trouble at finding a seat otherwise fine, average airport

Probably the smallest simplest airport in London. Customs is a breeze and the gates are 5 mins away. Starbucks wins the moment because I forgot about my hour wait . Before I knew it I was on the plane

There were a lot of travelers today, but everything went very smoothly.

The port inside seems friendly, it's clean and there are a lot of shops. The bigger problem is outside, there are renovations everywhere and it takes a very long time

LLA gets a lot of unfair reviews but it’s a really good airport in my opinion. Road and train access has improved massively over the years. 35 minutes from North London by road and 30 minutes from London by train. A lot of works currently going on since the fire and they’re trying to get things moving as quickly as possible. People just need to be a little more patient and allow plenty of time.

Parking very difficult. Also price charged for parking very expensive

Luton Airport, I expected problems because of the recent car park fire but no, it went very well indeed. Some temporary barriers within the airport redirecting travellers but all went well. The plane, baggage collection and passport control very very good, impressed.

Plenty of places to eat and sit down. It was busy but efficient.

Still excavated, they have been working for 13 years

It took me 1:30 hrs to come out of airport. The passport control queue was too long and only 3 counters working. Very disappointed.

The added car park space near the terminal is partially closed and so is the pick up/drop off zone. It's still incredibly busy at peak times so arrive early if you want to be sure to catch your flight. Drop off and pick up parking has been moved to the mid stay car park that is reached through lengthy traffic queues at peak time and we recently had to walk all the way to be in time to clear the delays through check in and security. Leave plenty of extra time and anticipate chaos and delays. Arrival via the light railway link "Luton Dart" avoids any chaos in the mid stay carpark approaches to the terminal.

Took my 84 year old father to Spain with easyJet. The disability assistance was fantastic. Couldn't fault them. Excellent.

Pretty Wild West on the old pick up / drop off front. Been a building site for too long. Sort it out guys.

15 mins from landing to street!

We arrived early but there were loads of restaurants and shopping to help keep you occupied and a generous amount of charging points. Been a few years since my last visit and it's improved massively.

Despite the bad reviews and the fire, Luton Airport continues to defy expectations by offering a straightforward travel experience.

Excellent new drop off and customs check 20 mins from drop off to lounge. Only Five pound charge for yhe drop off. Well done

Busy as usual. At least drop off and pick up at Mid Stay parking is free up to 20min

Overcrowded, expensive, uncomfortable.

What everyone should know? Most of the toilets are closed in the morning, shops and cafes as well. When going to the security gate line was bigger to collect bags after scan than before going through security.... I was so annoyed with all the stuff there .... at least water was free.

Dreadful. Access by car terrible due to one single lane that meanders around a building zone. The drop off zone is 10+ minute walk away, or pay £5 for 5 mins, it's packed inside, limited seating, security took forever (not enough staff), bus to the plane and baggage collection at return was 45 minutes wait. Literally the worst airport in the world. It's been like this for years. Management/owners laughing all the way to the bank. Only use if you have to.

After 9 years I took off again with Luton today. I barely recognized the terminal, it was quite transformed. There is everything that stimulates the eyes and mouth and looks good. You have to explore and enjoy what you can as a passenger.

It is a nice airport with public transport available just outside the airport exit door. Only thing was that toilets were not clean.

Massively improved since last visit + Rapid security. New scanners so keep everything in your bag, just take off belt and jacket. + Well maintained and clean. + Fresh toilet facilities + Water stations + Clear flight info + Good selection of food and drink + Not too awfully priced, taking into account it's an airport

Special assistant staff were fantastic

Everything went very smoothly staff couldn't have been more helpful and very kind. The only downside was we had paid for fast tracking and the member of staff in security would not listen and put us through the ordinary queues this was very disappointing as my son had booked the fast tracking so that I didn't have to stand so long with my mobility being a problem but other than that everything went smoothly.

Security was very efficient today. Also the long stay car park was great parked and in the terminal in 5 mins

Pretty efficient landing with a fairly swift flow through passport control and baggage collection. Bus to carpark to be collected was a bit annoying but that’s just temporary due to the car park fire.

Well signposted and security ran smoothly. Loads of shop options and rail fare from the train station to the airport was £4 odd. Simpler than Gatwick and good train out of St Pancras London

I have arrived at Luton Airport twice now and experience has been all good. No large queues at passport control so it was quick in terms of immigration. Luggage arrived quickly at the belt and belts are good as they have ample space for people to wait for their luggage. Staff were also great and helpful. To get to London from Luton Airport, you get 2 options so you have options - 1) Take DART Shuttle to nearest train station to get trains to London 2) National Express - Bus service to get into London Victoria and stops at other stations on the way. A bit cheaper than the train. Looking forward to consider this airport more similar to Gatwick and Heathrow. Cleanliness in toilets can be improved !!

It has to be one of if not the worst airport around! The long stay parking buses are absolutely crap! The area through security is small and very busy, and security was well over an hour if you don't do fast security. Will only fly from here if there is no other options.

Due to ongoing roadworks it’s challenging to get in and out of the airport

Busy but not overly slow, check in flowed well with the team representing EasyJet friendly and welcoming. Security was a maze of tensa barriers. Tray clearance was slow but a lot of rejected trays. Food was quick in the restaurant and no Delays boarding so away on time which is all good!

Worst airport to use. Badly organised, badly sign posted and badly manned. Announcements are made from a poor public address system where sound echoes and no one understands a word. There is no manned information desk either on the inside nor outside for the arriving passengers. All of this is exacerbated during outside of normal business hours. Phone signal is very poor once inside past security and WiFi provided is even worst. So one cannot even use the Easyjet app to receive any proper flight updates when the flight is delayed.

Not a bad airport. Improved a lot since my last experience here many years back. Clean, well signed, many facilities and shops. Great little airport.

Straight through bag drop off, security and boarding so straight forward (flew with easyjet). Enough shops and food/drink options for everyone. Toilet facilities clean and the few staff we dealt with were helpful

One of the worst places to return from a flight where we have to walk a long way with our luggages to the pick up point ,as my health isn't that good I was breathless and could not walk .

Luton airport is my local airport so it automatically scores high for convenience, also never had any rear issues with the airport, it is a costly airport and parking is extremely expensive but then again all airport parking at all airports is expensive. Luckily I am local and can get the bus here. But the airport is great

London Luton is very expensive 🫰 to park at so use the drop off carpark if going. Literally a 5 min walk and will save you a fortune. Security took 15 mins to clear on a Friday morning 🌞 ☕ which was great.

From drop off there is quite a walk to the terminal due to the fire in the parking area. Hopefully this will be sorted soon

Only 3 stars ... Despite all the inconvenience you are subjected to due to the car park fire ... To avoid the long walk from the temporary car park to terminals, there's a charge of £5 to allow a closer drop off !!

The current situation at Luton Airport does not enhance the airports reputation. Parking is a nightmare. This used to be a pleasant pick-up and drop-off experience, but now i5s all about money

Mid stay car parking awful. Over £300 for 3 week parking at least 20 minutes walk from the terminal along a narrow and winding path with a surface totally unsuitable for pushing luggage. Parking area was poorly lit, and signs for rows were in the middle of the parking area and not visible from the pedestrian area. You would not see anything remotely like this in any other country. Totally unacceptable.

Quite a distance by(taxi) road from Maidstone. However there are connecting trains which can easily navigate you to and from the airport. Every other thing is great.

It's a small international airport, Pro are that is not busy as Stansted or Heathrow, and because from April 2024, London Luton Airport (LTN) was expected to start rebuilding one of its main car parks later that year, with completion scheduled for late 2025. The four-story car park was destroyed by a fire in October 2023, and the rebuild will restore the airport's short-term parking capacity to about 4,000 vehicles. The new car park will include a ground-level drop-off zone and a fire suppressant system. The sheet term parking is free, until completion. The cons are that is small and is quite complicated to get in and out.

Luton Airport is tidy as usual, but if you plan to order an Uber, you now need to walk from the airport to the 'Mid Stay' parking area, which is a 10-minute walk. Carrying a 23 kg bag with you makes it feel like a long distance. However, I believe there is a shuttle bus that can take you there! 🥵

Burger King was nice and clean Burger was great too

There is a lot of construction at the moment and getting to the airport is a bit difficult.

This airport is disorganised. My last experience this airport consisted of long, slow queues. The waiting area did not have enough space for everyone. Lots of people were sitting on the floor. The food was expensive.

Really nothing bad to say about the airport. 85% of the time, there isn’t a lot of people queuing at security checkpoint. But on days that happens, they try to accommodate travellers who might miss their through fast track route, and I guess there’s a tiny fee to pay. 4 stars because it’s not perfect, but above average.👍

it'll probably be nice when they finish it. trouble is, it's been a building site for over 40 years so i won't be holding my breath..

Small airport, but has all that is needed to get you through.

The worst airport. There has been construction works to the drop off and arrivals areas ever since I can remember. I would say at least 5 years and it's a nightmare to pick up or drop someone off! I would avoid booking any flights from Luton until they get their act together and finish off the works once and for all!!

Beautiful and large airport! Large catering area and duty free!

Luton Airport has changed over the years. Has plenty of cafes and shops before entering departure. If you have to wait around at night, you can feel safe there. Pass the departure gates and you will find plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, duty free. That you can easily arrive even 3 hours before your flight and will not the time fly by. At least fir this moment drop off is also free.

New Airport scanners are amazing. No need to pull out your electronics when going through baggage check. Now roughly 5 mins rather than 45 mins

The airport itself is decent, well-communicated, and compact. However, there are sometimes long queues at security control. The worst part, though, is the state of the toilets. They are horrific - fecal matter and used paper on the wet floor, creating an unsanitary and unpleasant experience. This urgently needs to be addressed.

The public toilets were clogged...

The service is good, the employees are attentive, but this endless repair going on since I don't know when has tormented me. By the time I reached the parking lot with my luggage, where relatives were waiting for me, it was a nightmare. There are not enough directional signs. Also, the luggage trolley machines are out of order. I put in a £20 note and no penny or change. This happened to two other passengers. We had to wait for an employee to open the machine.

The departure hall is modern and comfortable. The airport has new x-ray frames. Passengers do not need take out bottles with liquids from their luggage.  The Kids zone is as far as gate 7. There are also these benches here. I had loose clothes. My testicles pinched in the gap between the slats. Guys, watch out!

Total shambles for pick ups . Almost no lighting makes it almost impossible to find your taxi 🚖.Won't use the airport until the atrocious queues etc are sorted.Airport itself works fine..Check in passport control and bagage pick up all works.Problem is totally the pick up area its shocking

It's always a great airport to go through.

Wonderful experience although the diversions due to construction work caused a bit of delay
