Decent food. Lots of varieties , food tasted good and the atmosphere was ok. Would recommend. Lots and lots of halal options

Visited today with my 4 kids 3 of whom are disabled 1 of my child who is 11 is autistic and he didn't even eat I had been charged an adult price for him due to his height my kids myself and partner ate my son refused to eat just just after I had paid for him he stood up.for the whole time as soon as he said wasn't going to be eating anything as he has a fear of germs his mental health flares up anytime of day so I knew he was adamant he wouldn't be sitting or eating I told staff straight away the situation she had told me I would have to leave also I had told her I can't leave as I have other kids I've just paid of 70 pound all I was asking was my sons refund so as I could get him something he wanted she had refused I spoke to another member of staff and she said to see lady at desk on your way out she was very rude and refused again my disabled son was charged 1350 to stand there this restaurant is a disgrace very unhygienic plates cutlery cups don't get washed still have previous customers food left on there please avoid this restaurant there are many better places to eat cakes are frozen food is all cheap frozen food there is no flavour to anything either over fried or undercooked I have been on toilet since I left there if anything my son had a lucky escape not eating from there

Food was great, customer service with top notch

We are constantly being blown away on a weekly basis with all the new varieties brought in by the new head chef 👍. The quality of the dishes are amazing, better than most formal dining restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the roast ducks, taste equally good if not better than what we had in Singapore and Hong Kong. The other wow factor would be the impeccable hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout the entire restaurant, staff are seen cleaning and wiping down surfaces regularly. Customer service is second to none, staff are friendly, receptive and are in good spirits even when they are maintaining the high standards of the buffet.

First time visiting and was not disappointed. The restaurant was clean, well managed and had good food. Note to bear in mind certain items aren't Halal, mainly a handful of the ample dessert but it wasn't difficult to get around. They do NOT serve any pork. Only suggestion is to make the signs/stickers should be more blatant to confirm if Hala orl not please.

Amazing! Various of food choices, desserts, and even drinks. There's chicken,lamb,beed,pork ,seafoods, noodles ,sushi, loads of delish foods..Best to give yourself a treat to this.

This was my first time visiting Hong Buffet and was pleasantly surprised. It is a very reasonable price of £25 for unlimited food, deserts and soft drinks. The food variety is great and the quality of the food was lovely some really great dishes that we both loved, it isn't a fine dining experience by any means but cheerful and pleasant place with great food!

Went and had dinner here on a Saturday evening. And to be perfectly honest, for what you pay, it's very subpar, costs £25 per person for the buffet and unlimited soft drinks with an expensive bar in the corner. The food is all over the place, rice is next to chicken balls, the satay is next to pizza etc. Hard to find specific things. All the food is cheap and cooked quickly. I had jaw ache from the various types of chicken I found. Calamari was like chewing on a tyre. The sushi is like a tesco meal deal with cheap canned tuna and salmon. The dessert were quite nice, the ones that weren't covered in kids fingerprints. Seemed very busy, as expected on a saturday, with a lot of younger children running around in a very feral way. Even saw one of them standing on one of the serving counters. Sticking fingers in everything without a lid etc. Not the fault of the restaurant but people need to control their goblins. I've been to nicer, and cheaper buffets before but I think I'll stick to the places I know. I'm not local to Luton and was passing through one evening. This won't be one I'll goto again.

Food is pretty rubbish. Basically everything you can get in Iceland, like onion rings and chicken nuggets etc. It's overpriced. Very disappointed.

Busy restaurant, but always there is a place to find, even for the big gatherings

Good food, good variety, plenty of seating!

Food is nice on the whole. Avoid the curries though as some of them are under heated or frozen in parts and will give you food poisoning. I still go there i just above those dishes. Can be very busy and as a result diet but they do their best to keep ontop of it

We had booked a table for over 20 people for a Christmas meal. The table wasn't ready and the owner said we can't move the table around because the area that they gave us is for 35people and we have only 26 people in🤦‍♀️ we tried to explain that is Christmas meal and we would like to seat all together as that opportunity once a year to seat together and enjoy, he still refused and we sat in 5 different tables 🤦‍♀️ Not best customer service especially around the Christmas. We wasted 20min for tablets and then we were been told to "do whatever we want" he turned round and walked away. No help to enjoy our Christmas meal. Our Christmas spirit was ruined. More care about money than helping customers to celebrate Christmas.

It's getting better n better everytime I go, great selection of dishes, only negative thing is I try not to let my kids try the desserts because they have some sort of nuts in some of the desserts (cakes) n the customers use the nuts utensils to pick up the others so if u av kids who's got any allergies please be mindful. But overall I recommend recommend 👌 😋 😉

I recently visited this Hong food buffet and it was an extremely disappointing experience. The food was bland and overcooked, with several items either too greasy or dried out. The staff was unhelpful and seemed disinterested in making sure we had a good experience. To make matters worse, the place was not clean—tables were sticky, and the floors were covered in food scraps.

Great food went for date night and definitely had our moneys worth. Brilliant place can't wait to go again

It's very expensive to go there for a dinner or during the weekend. They have the same food choices for ages now and the desserts are not good. If it was more affordable I think people would be able to visit more often. Even if it meant reducing the desserts and sushi, noodle choices that do not seem to be chosen as much.

Wasn’t good. The chicken had this weird, slimy texture and tasted awful—honestly, it was disgusting. I went here on a first date, and we both agreed we wouldn’t come back. The only thing I kind of liked was the vegetable dish, and that’s surprising because I’m a huge meat lover. To top it off, I got really sick after eating here. I can’t say for sure it was because of the food, but I was stuck in bed for three days, which didn’t help the experience.

The food was very tasty and hot it was amazing the first impression was a very good and I will go again I wish that was my restaurant to eat every day from there Well done to the people making the food all of them❤️❤️👍🏻

Visited the restaurant as a party of 9 lunch time today. Everything was excellent. Good choice of food and excellent service clearing plates and keeping buffet clean. Would recommend the Kong.

Food is fine. Layout is okay. They do rush you near the end of a sitting so allow yourself plenty of time. No specific parking so will have to use one of the town centre car parks

Was there last night a family of 4 but they made me pay 11 pound for a child who is 3 but on their menu it's states 3year to pay 3 pound she did even eat only drink she had

I've been here a few times and everytime I go the food is cooked really nicely and doesn't have that plastic taste that you might find in other buffets. They've got a nice selection of food from India style to Chinese or mandarin? I love their black pepper sauce in beef highly recommend that to anyone. Drinks are refillable which is a plus and they've got a alright selection of dessert (not the biggest fun of sweets stuff personally)

Had our Xmas party there last night. Great range of food and it was delicious! My personal favourite was the Mongolian lamb. I don't even live in Luton but I'd definitely come here again. Soft drinks are included in the price, which I've never encountered at a buffet!

Great price for what you get, staff are very attentive to your needs. Disappointed that the Birthday offer, was not advertised properly. Asked about it as there for my birthday meal, and was told for December it is only Monday-Thursday for a regular customer.

Food is OK. Lots of choices and varieties of food, however a lot of meat and seafood dish were undercooked. Went on a Sunday lunch when it opened it was pretty quiet, by the time we leave at 2pm it started to get more busy. The interior is nice and well decorated but the floor is very greasy and slippery by the toilet.

With so many poor quality buffet locations, it's easy to set your standards low. But this little gem is a real cut above its peers, with great quality food, a real spread of food including sushi, tepanyaki freshly made/ cooked. The staff are helpful and attentive and the atmosphere is absolutely top notch.

When there are 1+1 offers, families come with babies and strollers which makes other customers feel uncomfortable because there is no space and the children start crying, they are noisy. It is a restaurant not a nursery.

Arrived at 5pm lots of fresh cooked food to choose from, staff where helpful and quick to clear away used plates, glasses and cutlery.

First time being here worn my works do for Xmas as they have raved about it but I was sorely disappointed. Given it was Xmas they could have had music and it was very soulless. Was so looking forward to the duck but it was dry and hard. The rice and noodles were nice as was the sweet and sour chicken. Went for pudding and there wasn’t enough tongs and some customers were touching all the food with their fingers and then leaving it so wasn’t impressed with that. Paid for a £24 bottle of Prosecco cash at the bar for the staff to come and tell me it hadn’t been paid for .. wasn’t impressed … sadly don’t think I’ll be coming again.. might just stick to the Man Ho …

The quality of food is not worth spending money on. It is bland and plain. The staff and manager lack proper customer service etiquette. The place is just not where I will want to take my family to for a nice time together. Hong Buffet is not welcoming of its guests.

Variety of seafood, chicken (nuggets, satay, wings), pizza, noodles, rice. Also Chinese and Indian dishes and variety of sauces to pair with meals. Good selection of desserts including, cakes, 4 flavours of ice cream, chocolate fountain with fruit, marshmallows and sweets. Selection of juice, slushies and sodas on tap. Staff regularly come around to clear tables and check what dishes need to be refilled. Paid £13 for lunch open from 12-3pm (food stops being served 30 minutes prior to end of lunch.

I was in Luton and feeling a bit hungry so I decided to check out the Hong Buffet. The restaurant is on the first floor and there is a staircase or a lift to get to the restaurant. I received a friendly greeting from the lady at reception and she signposted me to another lady who took me to a table. There was plenty of food to choose from including starters with soup. There was also curry, Chinese, Thai and pizza to choose from. There is also teriyaki and sushi that you can have. There are free soft drinks available including post mix drinks and also slushies. There are desserts including ice cream, fruit and a chocolate fountain. Whilst I was there a member of staff was busy clearing tables and wiping them clean and he was doing a good job. I was quite impressed at this slick operation and I will pop back next time I am in Luton.

Foods ok nothing special I like that the drinks are included in the price which I think is a fair price. Not a lot to choice from in the Italian area just pizza. Girl clearing the table was take drinks and full plates away when not finished and could clearly see us still sitting there eating and drinking. I don’t recommend using the toilets they are disgusting. It’s very noisy and busy I love that they play music and dance for people’s birthday. But it’s very very loud and goes on for a period of time. Just wouldn’t recommend it as a place to eat and talk as you can’t even hear yourself think. Would I go again? Probably not.

The food was good as usual. Large selection. I come here often and always have a large selection of great shrimps. The rest is delicious too. I recommend.

Value for money every month or two months once they do offer as a buy one get tickets for two members 22pounds , they have more than 50 items atleast u can find 10 worthy food for your taste, try once and only if u go as a two members can get offer tickets they never charge for one member.

Good was very nice and the staff were very friendly. Atmosphere ok but could be better. I would have given five stars all round but we only went because of the two for price of one offer. The normal price is a bit steep for myself.

It's decent, nothing special. I really wish the place was cleaner though. They need to wash their glasses and cutlery properly. In the picture I've got a whole bunch of starters.

Good selection of things to eat

Quick easy and large seating area. It's buffet style so not top tier but great for a family and it's all you can eat. Enjoyable and simple. The downstairs foyer could do with a spruce as it's a bit uncared for and the red rug just needs to be replaced. Staff were helpful and they cleaned regularly.

If you want good hospitality or good service then DO NOT EAT HERE. We came today at 8.15pm as a family to eat this buffet. We have been to many restaurants all over the UK & this is the worst experience we have got!!! The lady at the front said that the buffet gets clean at 9.30pm so take the food before that. We were happy with that but since 8.45pm 3 different workers came to our table to tell us about the same thing which made us think we were not welcome and that they are rushing us to get up and go home. Also around 8.55pm, the staff were picking up the food and cleaning around the buffet counters which is understandable to keep the area clean and hygienic but it’s not professional when customers are there trying to put the food in. - For HALAL customers, the dishes are not labelled correctly and dishes are in different places in the buffet table. We asked one of the workers about some desserts if they were halal or not and she said they are all halal, but another one came to say that these ones are not halal so avoid these ones. As a customer, It is better to avoid than take any risks. Overall food taste was okay but really disappointing with how they treated as customers. - We provided our experience to the store manager to help make experiences for customers more welcoming.

Delicious food choices of Japanese Thai Chinese and Indian food. It is very spacious and nice and clean inside the restaurant. Would go again.

Love this place, if anything there's to much choice, the food is fresh and hot, it's clean and the staff are friendly and it's reasonably priced, you definitely get your moneys worth, can't wait to go back.

The selection is very good, so was the taste. Not very busy for a Saturday lunch but price could be the reason. £24 / person in my opinion is a bit more as after all it was a buffet and one can only eat so much. I tried 5-6 meat dishes and liked them all. I would definitely try again in the future.

Nicely decorated ,we had what they called shreaded duck ,but it was more like shreaded pork which is often substituted to keep down costs

It's OK. Some reason the food doesn't taste fresh and it's like leftover food that's been cooked again for another dish.

I went for the lunch buffet for £13, great value, lots of food to choose from. I like the most is beef are cooked in many waysm especially the Chinese style, it's very delicious, and the desserts, especially the many kind of fruits, have a lot to choose from. The service was very good. I definitely have to go back.

Nice place to have family and friends especially for a free meal when it's your birthday! Could do more and the front ground floor. Food looks good but family felt a lot of salt was added for a lot of flood. They could but a strap paper for entry and like a golden one for birthday single person like the dragon! Toilet needed maintenance too.

You can't dislike this place, everything is 10 over 10. Better than most Chinese restaurants I've been in the UK.

Lovely variety of food for all pallets. From Chinese and Indian to sushi, steaks, and pizzas this restaurant has it all. And after all the savory food there is a great selection of puddings of fruit, cakes, sweets, ice cream, and a chocolate fountain. Did I mention that drinks are included in the price!! I fell this place has an endless seating area too! I will be back.

My husband took me to Hong Buffet for my birthday dinner. The receptionist was very friendly. We paid £22 each, were walked and shown to our table. They have a serene environment, great ambience and the food tasted so nice. There is a stairway option or you could use the lift. It is a buffet so you can eat all you want but cannot take away. We had special fried rice, black chili pepper beef, crispy chicken, honey-dipped chicken, fried shrimps, potato wedges, sauced duck, prawns, baas fish. They were all very tasty and it came with drinks. We had tropical, watermelon juice and had a taste of the slushi. The staff gave me a special birthday song accompanied with a nice chocolate cake. I enjoyed my evening and it was my best birthday experience. Thank you Hong Buffet for making my birthday a great one. I will definitely revisit with my friends. I highly recommend Hong Buffet.

The sitting arrangement does not promote exclusivity and intimacy needed for such settings. Appears short-staffed cos you have same staff cleaning tables, mopping the floor and washing dishes. Guess that's how they function in the UK, but not healthy and could pass as modern slavery.

An all you can eat buffet with a huge choice of food. Chinese, Indian and Italian food all covered. Soft drinks included within the price, can also request hot drinks like tea and coffee. Took my family, wife ate for free as it was her birthday. the dinner menu is a bigger selection than the lunch menu but this is reflected in the price. food of very good quality but not a fan of the grill as lamb was too chewy to eat comfortably. my favourite dish was chicken Tikka masala. my children loved the chocolate fountain. my wife preferred the seafood. appears to have something for everyone

The food is great quality. I went for the dinner which was about 20ish per person I loved the variety and could barely finish my meals so I paced myself. There are free soft drinks available which is really good. Saves you having to pay for drinks while eating. I was visiting Luton for the day but I will go back again as I enjoyed the food.

Lovely designed restaurant. Very open making it easy to get around even when busy. Food is nice, big selection, better in the evenings for sure. Worth the price too as pudding and drinks are included. I've been a few times now and it won't be the last.
