Unacceptable. Had a booking for between Christmas and New Year (booked for months) and cancelled on us with 5 days notice. Good luck to us finding somewhere else last minute this time of year!!
Very over priced compared to a local bakery wasn't told some of the things I had bought were vegan until paid for . The custard apple crumble tart was bland tasteless and really hard . I actually binned it after a few mouthfuls. Really disappointed as I paid 19 pounds for a few items won't go back again
Wanted to find a Greek restaurant nearer to home. Restaurant looks grubby but you can’t judge a book by its cover. Wish we had. Tiny, over priced portions of not very nice food. Will stick with the Olive Garden in future, worth the extra travelling and never disappoints.
Great Sunday lunch experience in a friendly village pub. First visit on the first day the pub did Sunday roasts. Lovely, friendly pub with good real ales and a great value lunch.
1 star is generous. I was given old dehydrated chips that looked and tasted chewy. They must have been at least a day old. Pizzas are too salty also. I darent try anything else. Appalling food. Worst I have ever had from a takeaway
Charming establishment with underwhelming service and cuisine.
Upon our unplanned arrival, we were directed from behind the bar to a cramped table by a disinterested older lady who hurled a menu board in our direction without a glance, instructing us, "Sit over there."
There was no instruction to place orders at the bar, resulting in confusion and delays for many customers who awaited service in the wrong section, before being redirected.
We chose the Sunday roast, which arrived lukewarm alongside a neighbouring table's equally tepid dishes. Disappointed with the quality, I returned my plate to be reheated, finding it inedible. A replaced dish was served after a 20-minute delay. When the nearby table requested an extra Yorkshire pudding, the unenthusiastic response they received was far from inviting.
The inexperienced staff, particularly the younger servers, would benefit from training as they were surprised by our request for cutlery and struggled with food orders and basic tasks.
The unsatisfactory dining experience led us to leave our meal unfinished, without indulging in any dessert.
Went here in 20203. Food wasn't great and the place was dirty!
Went to Hensby in 2024 and it's completely close. It's the summer holidays so I'm not sure if sure its going to re-open??
We visited here on 31.03.25 and was very impressed with our waitress Saffron. She was extremely helpful, friendly, patient and attentive throughout our visit. She offered to help us with explaining the different deals and best value for money etc. She had no issue with swapping ingredients on our pizza (we wanted to swap the beef for onion, and as they didn't have any spicy pork, we asked to have chicken instead) Once our food was served, we were taking some pictures of each other and our meal etc and she came over and offered to take a picture of us together, which was really nice of her and very much appreciated! I can often feel a bit nervous to ask staff members to take pictures, as I feel awkward and am conscious they may feel nervous to do it, but her offering to take one made things so much easier and it's nice to have for memories. We had already paid for our food as you pay at the start of the meal in this restaurant, so she wasn't doing this just to try and get a tip or anything. Saffron was really friendly throughout our whole visit and seemed very genuine in how much she enjoyed interacting and helping customers, it didn't feel forced or like she was doing it because she had been told to. She was far nicer than the other waitress who greeted and seated us. Saffron really made a difference to our visit.
In terms of the food, the pizza was great tasting and really good quality, very plentiful with toppings too. The only criticism would be that the base was EXTREMELY thin, so you could not pick up the pizza without it flopping over and the sauce dripping off. I am not sure if it was so thin because it was a sharing pizza, but I have not known Pizza Hut Pizzas to be that thin before. I would definitely recommend getting the garlic powder topping (which is free of charge) added on if you like garlic, this made it taste even better. It was great value for money, 1 large sharing meat feast pizza with 2 salad bowls and 2 drinks for £27 (I was able to get about £7 discount with blue light)
We went in for a breakfast first morning we were in Yarmouth and went back on the last morning after our superb weekend festival.
One of the best & freshest All Day/Jumbo breakfasts I have ever had and I've spent 40 years in the travel industry.
Not only was the food superb, the coffee was spot on and the hosts were ever so friendly, down to earth and sociable. It was a pleasure and we'll be back when we can.
Thanks & best of luck for the summer xx

Worst kebab I’ve ever had. Chicken donner was just sat there not being kept warm and was pink. Garlic bread with cheese have little to none garlic on it. Will not be returning
Promenade Coffee - Great for a warm up on a blustery day.
Bank Holiday Monday - Great Yarmouth - Blustery day and the beach was "EMPTY". With a north east wind blowing if felt like -2 degrees
Coffee and Tea from the Coffee House was reasonably costed.
