If you have an ill / disabled partner beware of this establishment my wife has a few conditions I asked if they had a lift to be told yes what they didn't tell me was it was being unpredictable my wife was stuck downstairs made to climb stairs and left gasping for breath to be left in a main site of view feeling so poorly it was a disgusting situation to be in and clearly no one knew what to do please be aware

Rubbish food and service, very poorly run, breakfast was awful, hard bacon, burnt sausages, not enough beans to even wet the plate, wouldn't even give this place 1 star but that's the least I could do.

Very friendly staff, shown to restaurant downstairs. Covid safe measures in place. Ordered the steak & bottle of wine for two. Didn't disappoint. Absolutely excellent, steak cooked perfectly. Jason, the chef, came and spoke to us about our meal. Highly recommend the Grill restaurant at the Comfort Hotel.

Me and the family had dinner at THE GRILL last night and I found the restaurant a great place to eat. Our food arrived to the table within 15 mins of ordering. My steak was cooked just the I liked it. The staff was very friendly and I could overhear them with all the customers treating them for all there different needs and food preferences. Also has an electric stair lift which I thought was ideal for some customers. All in all it was a great evening.

Went in and bought a lobster roll which was delicious. From the moment I entered, the woman who served me appeared extremely put out by having to serve me. No acknowledgement whatsoever since I walked in and smiled. I said hello and ordered the roll and asked to pay by card. No response except some light huffing followed by “I’ll need to charge you £5 as that’s the minimum spend.” The roll was £4.95, but I took no issue with this so immediately said “that’s ok, I’ll buy something else. “ again followed by no visual or verbal response, just a sulking face. I went and picked up a tub of prawns and smiled and said “can I get these too please.” The woman was then put out as she’d turned round to do something else. She then begrudgingly held the card reader to me, and I paid. Again no response verbally or facially. I said “thank you, have a nice day and then left.” Jenny was busy tidying up, and I’m not sure who the other woman who served me was but I hope she is ok.
