Belton fish & chips Kebab & Pizza in Great Yarmouth

Ordered large donner,chips ,chicken fillet burger which was very tasty,however the 2 piece of chicken I ordered also were dryer than ghandis flip flop,think they were sitting there all day ,so 3 stars fom me,!

After reading previous reviews saying about bad service and bad food.....I decided to ignore and try for myself....all I can say is WOW. Food dam amazing,huge portions, burger and chips absolutely divine..and man serving was very nice and polite, so ignore negative reviews and try for yourself.....you will not be disappointed

Belton Kebab, fantastic quality food, very quick delivery times and happy friendly staff. We use Belton Kebab regularly and would recommend. Andy, the owner, is also a staple of the local community and helped us and numerous other locals when issues happen. A thoroughly decent guy and a great little Kebab house in the heart of the holiday camps of Belton.

It’s always good quality, fresh and delicious. I would recommend this take away.

Fast delivery only positive thing I can say about this place Food was cold batter on fish slimy chips soggy was overpriced for what we received inedible would never recommend first time ordering will absolutely be the last.

If staying at wild duck it’s a 5 min walk from the gate. Can’t miss it on side of the pub. Turn right and keep walking

I don't eat the chicken skin anyway, but the oil it was cooked in must have had something burnt in it. It did not affect the inside meat, which was lovely, and the chips are always amazing.

Stopped here after a night at the dog racing, wish I didn’t bother.. ordered a large doner meat and chips at 9:30, bare mind they shut at 11, it was almost like a chore to serve me, some dry left over chips that had been sat under the hot light since god knows and meat that they’d carved off the lost and found shoes.. binned half of it, will go hungry next time.

chicken kebab full of tender, well-seasoned and nicely seared chicken breast. Delicious!!

pizzas was cold, undercooked and doughy, chips were cold, dry and hard and chicken was so dry and hard only good thing on our meal was the freezer garlic bread pizza. was ordering from this place regularly will not be ordering again.

£10 for a large cod was the smallest bit of fish should be ashamed to serve this to your customers for that price and the chip are like a mush and the drink I asked for was the wrong one absolutely disgusting

Had no flavour, chicken was burned & dry, salad was mushy. Although delivered quick.

Burger, sausage, nuggets and doner meat was nice. Chips weren’t really that great

Was a mix up with the order, however, this was rectified within 5mins! Can’t rate highly enough. Cheers guys. Will definitely use again:-)

Perfect chicken kebab. The chicken was moist and tender, with lashings of burger sauce as requested. The salad was crunchy & fresh. A fab dinner!

Ordered a chicken burger didn't ask for cheese but they put cheese in it. Couldn't eat it

my pizza was undercooked and flipped over on itself while being prepared at the store it looked like. called the place and they gave me a replacement which was very nice of them

Saw rats scurrying around in the back of the shop. First red flag. Shop was disgusting. Food spillage all over the unmopped floor. The staff were extremely rude, for no reason. Misogynistic towards my girl friend. The food was appalling. Cold, hard, slimey and disgusting.

Ordered cod and chips. Have never seen or tasted anything like it. Cod was tiny and rubbery and had obviously been cooked a while ago and microwaved. My knife bounced off of it and couldn’t cut into it. The chips had been reheated and not edible. Also ordered shish wrap and quarter pounder which was cooked fresh. Not sure how they had the nerve to serve that fish and chips as you could clearly see it wasn’t edible. Won’t be returning

I still have not received it. I'm number 3 on the drivers list which means the food has sat for at least 30 minutes.

The driver was 20 minutes early which I was happy about. The food arrived hot. Food tasted disgusting. The cold was so oily. Even the battery was squishy in places. The chips were oily. Soft and weren't brown enough. They were thin and under cooked in some places. The curry sauce tasted funny and it was lumpy and runny. I prefer smooth thick curry sauce

Chips were more like homemade chips than chippy chips , too soggy and wet . Really rude young male staff member at collection , wouldn’t recommend.

The worst pizza and Donna meat ever last time was great and that wasn’t that long ago

The kebab arrived late and was cold and dry. I rang to complain and they said the would come back and collect it, they did and I’m still waiting for a refund 2 weeks later. Disgusting service, will never use again

I only found out after visiting this Takeaway that it has a 1 ⭐️ Hygiene Food Rating in need of Major Improvement from the Foods Standards Agency in May 2023. I will now definitely avoid this Takeaway. Had Kebab, Fish & Chips, & Burger & Chips, service was poor, as gentleman serving was finding it difficult to understand my order. Prices were different inside to what were shown outside. Upon returning home found the following: Kebab was swimming in orange grease/fat, the Kebab was on top of the salad which made the salad inedible, so threw it away as overall it was in edible. Burger was overcooked and charred in places, daughter took a bit and the burger was very tough to break up. The Chips tasted poor, as if the Cooking Fat had not been changed. Fish, more batter than fish, & Chips tasting as if cooked in burnt fat. Overalls poor experience, & the Pub next door wasn’t much better. Will be avoiding in future, & visiting the Kings Head in Belton.

Incredibly long delivery time and when it arrived the chicken was inedible, completely dry as if it had been reheated. Rest of the order was average. Best curry sauce I’ve had though.

The delivery driver was very polite and I got my food early and it was hot.

Sometimes the food from here is good, sometimes it’s not so good. Today all the food was cold, chips were hard, cheese wasn’t melted properely on chips and hotdog. No mustard in hotdog as asked for

We get delivery most weeks and been lovely bar the odd one ...food is always lovely .. unfortunately this time the doner meat was cold and the medium fish was small ..never get the 5 stickers to get the money off either ..shame...

Really really disappointed. Use Belton a lot and never had such awful food. Chicken was obviously refried from night before and was dry and inedible. I've complained to just eat with no help. I don't like putting bad reviews on here, but it cost me £15 to basically feed my bin!!!

730pm on a sat night thought ah it will be busy and the food cooked fresh. Nope. Dry manky chips, curry sauce like water.. We ordered 2 large size chips only got one. Useless, gave them another try after a bad meal a few years ago but never again.

The pie was wel over cooked like it was sat there all day the chips was hard. The curry sauce wasn’t really curry sauce. It was more like vegetable sauce.. the sausage was the only thing that was nice the fishcakes were burnt.. I paid for one Dr Pepper, two cans of Coke, one Dr Pepper and one canna Coke. I asked for to exact same fruit shoots different ones which causes arguments on my boys. Would never order here again. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it

Only a few minutes late however the majority of the food turned up cold, the kebab was dry and cold throughout the pizza arrived cold and yet burnt at the same time, chips soggy and cold. The young lad who delivered didn’t even apologise for the time just shoved the order into our hands and left. This is the second time recently we have had issues with our order, completely ruined our evening food we will not be ordering from yourselves again which is a shame really because we used to really enjoy the food here. Such a let down by poor food and service.

Appalling!! Food was cold considering it was two minutes around the corner from where I live. Considering my son in law is allergic to fish you put his food in with fish so disappointed due too not being able to eat it.!!

Ordered fish and chips and a pizza. Asked for salt and vinegar but couldn’t taste any. Food was hot, but fish was very greasy and chips not too good. Pizza looked ok, but was quite bland.

The food was freezing cold, and honestly tasted like they had reheated yesterdays food. The chips dry and hard, kebab meat was a strange colour, the pita bread was too hard to eat. Cod was decent and warm which was a significant difference to the rest of the meal which clearly showed it was freshly cooked and the rest was not.

Stopped here the other night on the way home, Got to be the worst food and most unhygienic take away I’ve ever been in. Simply binned the food. Don’t waste your money or time going to this place.

The usual delicious meals disappointed us by both sauces having spilled out of the containers into the bag and the food being cold. Not up to your standard at all.

We had a chicken kebab and a lamb shish kebab and a portion of chips. It was awful, the chicken had been put on top of the salad which turned it into warm mush which we had to bin. The chips were greasy, soggy and cold. The lamb kebab was also greasy and soggy and described as rank by my partner. £25 and a total waste.

Food was hot and very nice. It was the first time I ordered from you but it was lovely thankyou.

The fish was not fresh the batter was stodgy, chips were terrible and the curry sauce was pre packed and had been in the cabinet keeping warm and the middle was solid. The shop itself filthy not great in the slightest!

THE FISH WAS VERY NICE, HOWEVER SMELT A LITTLE BIT TOO FISHY. CHIPS VERY GOOD HOWEVER SNAPPED THE FILLING IN MY TOOTH

Although the food was really tasty it wasn’t very warm and we ordered steak and kidney pie and got chicken and mushroom. Order was missing a can of coke too. Previous orders have been good though

Ordered fish and chips for myself and husband and it was absolutely vile….. the fish was swimming in Greece the batter was dark in colour as if it had been re-fried but was soggy the chips was like scraping of the bottom of the fryer I rang to complain and was told. It was freshly cooked it most definitely wasn’t. They did say they would send more but I said no thank you!!!! Will never buy from there ever again

I've ordered from here a few times and not usually disappointed but my delivery yesterday I was shocked to find the chips were not fresh they were dry and like they had been cooked earlier in the day. Everything else was greasy. I will be ordering again but not for a while, I just hope next time my order will be like I usually get, if not that will be the last time I will order from them.

Simply the best! I don't usually leave reviews due to lack of time. However, this business has never failed to impress, from the food quality to delivery times and even the fact that the delivery drivers are so so nice and polite and also respect our note on the door which asks people not to knock/ ring as we have a baby sleeping most of the time. A big thank you to all of you lovely people and keep up the amazing work that you do every day.

When the food arrived, it was cold, literally chip shop is just around the corner, so it should not of been cold, but it clearly travelled a long way before arriving to us! Fish was flat, greasy, and had no taste and did not look appetising! The meal was not enjoyed at all, and we will not be ordering from you again!!

We won't be eating from here again. The food has gone down hill, we used to use this place all the time but the food we had last night was re-heated soggy disgusting chips, the fried chicken it came with was so dry with soggy skin also looked like had been re-heated (texture was rubbery) absolutely disgusting. The peri peri chicken kebab was soaked in watery garlic mayo that made the rice and salad soggy. Pitta bread was rock solid. Worse meal I have ever had in my/our entire lives. Safe to say we won't ever use them again and I hope for the benefit of their future customers they use this negative feedback to Improve their quality of food because what we had ladlst night was absolutely disgusting.

Ice Cream was missing from the order. We get orders from here regularly so a little disappointed. They are also advertising a free garlic pizza if you spend over £30, which we did. Didn't get that either.

Delivery was late because they couldn’t get my door number right after calling numerous times to see where my food was I was lied too and told my food had been re made , when it turned up it was freezing cold, tasted awful and the grease had soaked the paper it was wrapped in , curry sauce is like powder and the fish was soggy !!! Do not order from here !
