Fryers Delight in Great Yarmouth

Whent for first time yesterday, the food and staff are excellent, the fish was cooked perfectly and the girl serving was very friendly.will definitely return.Thank you.Dennis. From Yarmouth.

went first time to fryers for takeaway and it was really good had to order another one 3 weeks later on just eat , it was tasty as the first time

Delivery hood but person didn’t click on delivered it’s still showing as delivering so left the app open on my phone and banking app so I can’t get into my banking app now

The whole meal wasn’t very hot at all, fish nearly cold

No fault to shop I wanted the refund from just eat as they was the ones who messed up 1hr late and didn't ring when couldn't find us

It’s so nice to finally have a fish and chip shop that the chips are actually cooked properly and brown finally could be a bit more on the chips for the price but can’t really complain as I was having a lazy day anyway

Lovely and hot when arrived fish wasn’t very large for £11 more a med one but very nice meal

This is our Wednesday order every week due to clubs and food is always lovely great portions not overly greesy as for fried food goes.. They are very honest and Phoned me that they forgot our drink and came bk with bigger bottles then ordered.. Another time I forgot to order my food so had to order again and they phoned to make sure the order wasn't a mistake. Great services. 😁

Food was delayed and hade personal call them to ask were the driver was took them en extra 20 min to find the plays. Driver did not call and ask for help instead took another order to delever

Lovely well portioned hot food, didn't have drink that I wanted but was happy with the alternative. Delivery guy was well mannered too.

Took an hour and a half to arrive fish cakes were full of grease and falling apart

I just think to wait between 65-80 minutes for fish and chips is just too much.

it was ok I just wanted to try the crispy pizza I thought it was going to be bigger but it was like a micro Chicago pizza but covered in batter I'm not complaining as that was a nice size for me plenty of chips but I don't know what oil they use or they cook it in as there is something about it but I'm not from here but notice a few times because tast is familiar when I have chips

Amazing! Arrived much earlier than we thought and was absolutely piping hot beautiful and hot to the touch amazing fish and chips!

Food didnt taste great. Chips were under cooked. And the waiting time for delievery was long. Wont order from here again.

scampi was mush and did not even taste of scampi whitbys finest it was not chips warm

Sorry to complain but the fish was so over cooked it had disintegrate. The batter was thicker than the fish. Very disappointed at £8.50.

I am discussed with the food we received. The small cod that we received was only good enough for a child and the large cods were small and an extortionate price. we have always got our fish and chips from here but not any longer. Terrible soggy batter and tiny fish not happy at all.

We love our fish & chips from here it is always on point… my GF fancied chilli chips the picture looked amazing, was disappointed with what she received, it was wrapped in paper not in a box like the picture, far too many chips and not enough chilli maybe a spoon full with lots of kidney beans… next time will order separate 🥰 would still recommend as love the shop

The food was cold I have 2 grandchildren that was waiting for their food and when it arrived it was cold I'm not happy and won't be ordering anything from them again it's a joke and I'm not happy as I order from them every week as a treat for the kids and this is not the first time it's happened needs sorting out

Tried here last weekend when down for few nights and hate to say it won’t be back again…. Fresh cooked food was great but the food itself wasn’t great… the chips soggy limp and undercooked, battered burger over cooked and rock hard, the burgers and nuggets were ok but not the greatest have had at the seaside….. Very disappointed

Had to wait over an hour and a half for our meal. Had to ring twice to find out how long it would be. Not going back!

£30 for two fish and chips wouldn't mind but the food is awful, talk about overpriced absolute joke of a chippy

food was lovely as always but delivery time was 2hrs after ordering. I did ring and they said they were very busy which is understandable. anyway got 2 pieces of free fudge cake as an apology so all good.

Chips were dry, fish had no flavour to it, fish cakes tasted awful, usually very good food from here but today felt like they sent me left overs from lunch time.

Waited over an hour for our order. Food was cold on arrival, fish was over cooked as was the battered burger, batter was breaking off in chunks. Chips were cold and shrivelled. I don’t mind paying for a good fish and chips but for the price & wait time, this fell way short.

Ordered food for 9 adults and 5 children. The fish was overcooked curled up and chewy and the chips were absolutely terrible they were not very warm also they looked and tasted as if they'd been re fried several times and been sat waiting to be wrapped for and hour or two. Honestly....this was the worst fish and chip meal I've ever had. I'd never go there again. First bad review I've given.

Cheesy chips very dissapointing. Blob of cheese on a bag if chips wrapped did not meet expectations. Cheesy chips.in.box, like ordered before much more appetising.

The driver was 45 minutes early. Very pleased with the time. He was friendly and polite. The food was hot and tasty. Curry sauce was lumpy and I prefer it smooth. It tasted different from what I'm used to. The rest of the food was so delicious

The food is absolutely delicious. 10/10 We would order from here alot more often but the delivery times are appalling and we can't always wait that long.

Came to order our family meal for the night with my kids, unfortunately, the kids got freaked out by the owner, Dave. They said they seen him being stung live on Facebook by an online Child Protection Team. 👀 Turns out he was GUILTY of noncing kids? Unbelievable. What away to ruin your own life as well.

The food was disgusting! So much grease. The batter was fallen off the food it was that greasy, the paper the food was wrapped in was see through it was that greasy! I ordered a large cheap and got a regular total rip off
