Great Sunday lunch experience in a friendly village pub. First visit on the first day the pub did Sunday roasts. Lovely, friendly pub with good real ales and a great value lunch.

Superb food and excellent customer service. An ideal place for lunch after a boat trip on the Broads. Had a dog and was fussed over by the staff member.

New owners here, good choice of beers and ciders, including two ales. Food to come soon after kitchen refurbishment. Two tv’s for sport, pool table, with a pool team, darts and team to come shortly. Quiz night on a Thursday, with prize. Various events planed for rest of year, real fire in bar. Good, friendly local pub, large car park at side

Place is generally cleaner and the revamped gents toilet really is a vast improvement. good basis pub -grub menu at reasonable prices. may need to wait while fresh food is prepared and cooked. Visited this pub as it was near the Co-op and some of the family wanted to watch the football on Sky. Served lager, had sports on. Looked a bit run down and 'local' from the outside. It served the purpose we wanted it for but not sure I'd take my Nan there for a polite meal.

Tried to visit the pub with friends and got a VERY angry reception. We were told to leave immediately with the barman shouting "get them out" - it seems we visited after hours but there were plenty of 'regulars' welcoming us in, for some sort of lock in. Clearly we were not welcome in this "local" pub. Would not advise a visit. Disgraceful establishment.

Half of this pub is done out like a tea shop, doing affordable teas and cakes. The other half is a bar with good value bar food. Dog friendly.

Stopped off at this pub after visiting the seal pups at Horsey. We were a party of 4 + 1/2 and were made to feel very welcome by the barman, we ordered 4 adult meals of 2 x chicken and chips, 1 x liver and onion, 1 x lasagne and chips and a childs chicken nuggets with beans and chips. Our pregnant daughter in law found a hair in her meal which was returned and taken off the bill, the chicken meals were both over cooked and very dry, the liver meal was awful, how can you go so very wrong with mash and peas and over cooked liver. Our granddaughter who loves chicken wouldn't eat her nuggets and after trying one I'm not surprised, they also forgot to serve any beans with her meal. The drinks were far from great, no red wine and the only ale on was cloudy and on its last legs. Such a shame, it has the potential to be a lovely village. Regretfully we shan't be revisiting.

I stopped in at the Victoria recently for a coffee as I traveled through the area. It is a traditional pub/inn with a public bar, a family area and outside seating. It has interior timber framed features, and the central bar is small, but fitting for the place, A painting of Queen Victoria is near the fireplace, and a large pool table is in a back section. The pub serves food, and the offerings are traditional. Live music is on offer on selected evenings, and local competitions make it a community "local." While it is a bit dated, it does fit a theme.

Quick visit. Had lunch here, Polite staff. Great Venue. Shame that in the quieter months you still have no access to main hall with buying the weekend pass. Look forward to returning soon.

I was staying in the area and had lunch here four times. The experience in terms of service and food was variable. With regards to service, there is an older waitress who needs more training and does not know the menu very well. She seemed very unsure of herself and had trouble recording our order, having to repeat ourselves several times. Answers to our reasonably basic questions about the menu were "I think so..." and that did not fill us with much confidence. The younger waitresses were very good, attentive and friendly - so something must be going well in terms of staff training. We were also given warm tap water with no ice on a hot, summer day. This was partly due to the high price of drinks - £3.10 for canned drinks and £5.75+ for a milkshake. The surf and turf burger was really good - I would recommend this, as the crayfish, pawns and burger were lovely with the sauce. This was consistently good. The gammon, egg, chips and peas was also yummy and good value. The meat was well-cooked, as were the chips. The haddock was really nice on one occasion, with light and crispy batter. But on another occasion the batter was hard and overcooked, accompanied by cold chips and peas.

From the moment we walked into this restaurant we were greeted by very friendly helpful staff. Karolina, Sam & Jennie, thank you for providing us with first class service! The restaurant was well presented and there was a great choice on the menu. Our food arrived promptly, presented well and was delicious. The staff were attentive throughout. We even returned the following day for breakfast which was also well cooked and delicious. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

We found this fantastic pub whilst staying at a nearby caravan park, and I'm so glad we did. The setting is wonderful beside the broads. Shame it was chucking it down whilst we were there. The service was impeccable. Staff were all very accommodating. The food was amazing. Large portions, so beware. We had no room for pudding. I had the chicken Caesar salad, amazing. My father plumped for the pie and he said he'd never seen such an array of veggies on his plate. Other dishes sampled included the scampi, and my son had a burger from the children's menu, said it was the best he'd ever eaten. Thoroughly recommend giving the Bell a try, you won't regret it.
