The best restaurants serving Default food in Moulsham and Central Chelmsford East of England

This place is a hidden gem in Chelmsford. The food is outstanding. Totally authentic Thai food served up in great tableware that keeps the food hot. Excellent value as well. Highly recommend.

Currently in Cambodia and reminiscing about Star Kebab. Always really fresh and tasty. I also also used to work late nights and they'd always be a friendly face at the end of my shift. Since this reopened as Spuddy’s it’s just terrible. There are hardly any options (considering this is supposed to be a speciality baked potato shop), the staff seem fed up with the whole thing, and the food is tasteless. I would say it’s definitely bought in and not homemade. I would steer clear because there are so many other good lunch options in Chelmsford. I’m not sure who would choose this…?

Had lamb ribs. I don’t regret my choice. Juicy and very tasty.

Shocked and disgusted by this restaurant... The portion size was shocking for the amount paid and the staff did not care... Food is below average and customer service falls far below that also.

Ordered for the first time yesterday on Deliveroo and was pleasantly surprised. Definitely one of the best jollof and plantain meals I’ve had. Arrived fresh and hot. Had to order again today. Many thanks

Really good service by Daisy and Gouri. Don’t expect food to be as spicy as it is back home. However, they are still really good.

My band 8 Bars of Piano played here and I loved it. Such a great pub and a really friendly staff and crowd.

Absolutely amazing and authentic Thai food!! Too bad we only discovered it today and they told us it’s their last day!! All their staff and chefs are Thai people and from my understanding they’re retiring and going back to Thailand 🙁 so if you see this review and it’s not too late go today!!! Every single thing we ordered was good. They said to keep a look out for their update on the website they might find another location and open up again, but not till next year April time (roughly).

I had a proper dinner with lamb ribs, some cold and hot mezes, a couple of beers. Paid £34 and worths every penny. You can taste the high quality ingrediants when you keep eating.
