The best restaurants serving Default food in Dunstable-Central Central Bedfordshire East of England

This is the worst food I have ever had delivered. Absolutely disgusting. Never again.

Absolutely amazing food we ordered a large doner kebab (it’s absolutely massive!) a large mixed kebab (same again absolutely massive!) and a vegi burger and chips everything was cooked to perfection with amazing value for money if you are looking for an amazing takeaway spot this is it! Outstanding absolutely OUTSTANDING! 10/10

We had our Wedding at Priory House September 2023. It was an amazing day. We had started the planning with the wedding coordinator back in June 2023. Jackie and her team were amazing. Our ceremony took place in the Jacobean room which was perfectly decorated to match our colour theme. While we enjoyed taking photos out in the Priory gardens they turned this lovely little room into a flawless cosy setting to have our afternoon tea. The food was delicious, prepared and served with the utmost care, catering for the dietary needs of some of ours guests. We've given them Five stars, but they deserve a million.

This lovely cafe is perfect for a relaxing catch up with a friend or a calm tea and cake for your self. The staff are really friendly, approachable and there is a sense of community here. Love the food, good coffee, great cakes but I am mostly fond of the freshly baked croissants. 😊 The prices are really good too.

Had the loveliest roast dinner with the family this afternoon- was delicious 😊 and highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding for dessert too!

I run a curry club and raj villa is our go to. Great staff Jakir , Russel and Aktar. Great food and great value I would recommend

I have ordered and visited from this restaurant many times and usually have a great experience. However, this time I ordered through Just Eat and specified my dietary requirements in the notes section. When the food arrived, my dietary requests had been ignored. Thankfully, it wasn’t a serious allergy, but it was disappointing. When I called the restaurant to explain, I was brushed off and told it was ‘nothing to do with them’ since I ordered through Just Eat. They claimed they didn’t receive any money from the order, which isn’t true, as Just Eat takes only a percentage. I was hoping for an apology or for them to rectify the situation, but they kept shifting the blame to Just Eat and wouldn’t acknowledge the mistake. I’ve enjoyed this place in the past, so this response was especially frustrating. I’m disappointed that they wouldn’t take responsibility, and I will not be ordering here in the future!

Visited for coffee and cake, apparently this has been taken over recently so the current service does not seem to reflect the previous reviews on this site. We waited for ages for a couple of coffees and cake to be brought over, was also pretty smoky in there from whatever was cooking. Plus point was that the cakes we had were really nice, the coffee was nice but lukewarm and the 15 minutes it took to get them wasn't great. Also, some of the décor is a bit worn out. The place was not busy when we visited mid-morning so could really do a lot better.

Me and my daughter had such a lovely time the service was quick and the food was delicious and warm they have big portion sizes and we will be going back the soon would definitely recommend them to friends and family

Great food. Great service, without a doubt the best Indian Bangladeshi restaurant in Beds, Herts and Bucks.

This was a great experience. We went here and I had one of the best dinners I have had in a long time. The staff were very kind and chatty, and were very friendly. This was a 5 star experience even without the food. The food was amazing ( I had a pulled pork gyros box) and the experience was great. The only thing is even though you can sit down there is only 2 tables so if you plan to sit down get there early. But still, all the less this was a 5 star experience.

Unfortunately bad experience I received today. I asked my burger to be replaced as I don’t eat if its pink inside. They told me that’s how the burger is and didn’t replace it. If I could I would give -5 star customer service. Also they told me that in the future will give me extra sauce. Thats ridiculous, how small these people are. I know some people enjoy if its medium rare or whatever, but they don’t specify it in the description.

I was lucky enough to win the afternoon tea competition that they did and it was scrummy, plenty of food , we added Prosecco of course , Tasha and her staff were very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Not my first visit to the white swan I love the atmosphere and food in here so definitely recommend it if you like somewhere with a vibe

Jade River is our regular chinese takeaway, and is easily one of the best in the area. We always order the same thing, and by this point they know us by name! We order plant-based, and they are happy to accommodate us by removing egg from our favourite noodle dish (mixed vegetable vermicelli) without any fuss! The service is top notch, and Tony is always so smiley and happy to see us—he is an integral part of our Jade River experience (though anyone that has served us there has been incredibly friendly and kind) 🙏 There’s a reason they’re always so busy! Thanks Jade River 🥰
