Pepe's in Central Bedfordshire

Ordered food, not able to collect, initially store told to contact headoffice and refund will be issued once authorised. When contacted headofgice, was today that the Shoreham shared pictures that food was prepared so refund can not be issued as food was discarded. Asked to share the pictures of discarded food headoffice asked to contact store, store says contact head office. It was routine running items in order, nothing specific.

It's really a Delicious food and excellent service.

Unfortunately food (wraps) was smashed. And I ordered zero sugar drink and they brought me with sugar one....plus on the order said free chicken strings...they brought wings(half cooked)....so 80% of the order went to the fox ....waste of money and time....and they are more expensive than other ones....never again.

Arriving to the store, you don't even get given a second to look at the menu. Staff are so eager and keen to take your order. At least give me some time to see what I want. Secondly if you are so eager then at least get my order correct. Came home with my food yesterday (didn't check at the shop, I should have!) and found it was the wrong meal. Next time maybe put some of your eagerness into actually giving the correct order to people!

Extremely slow, have at 8 staff and yet still took 35 minutes to get our food Food wasn’t even that brilliant so most certainly not worth the wait Should’ve gone to KFC

Very less fries My first experience is a last experience.

On Saturday evening, January 10, I placed an order over the phone half an hour ago. When I arrived, the order was not ready and I waited another half hour inside the restaurant. The workers were very slow. I left angry. What is the point of ordering over the phone if we are going to wait anyway? It is not enough for the food to be delicious. As customers, we also care about speed. I hope the person in charge looks into this. This is not our first experience with delaying an order.

What I ordered was uneatable, good sour, salty not tasty. Do not recommend.

Delivery was slow, i got peri peri chicken and chips, the chips was good but the chicken was RAW. i complained and got my money back but it was raw. i ordered this on new years and now sick with food poisoning.

Food's amazing, but the service was even more! Especially our server, Noor, she did an amazing job serving our big family, all with a big smile!! 😄❤️

Pepe's, in my opinion, serves the best chicken in Dunstable. Cooked very well, good choice of spice levels and flavour, and is very clean spacious, should you decide to eat in. The staff are always very well spoken, friendly and polite, which for me is important. Food served with a smile ☺️ They used to offer the barbecue flavour, which had a very mild spice to it, it was absolutely delicious, but it was limited time only and now they don't offer it, maybe I was the only one who liked it 😂 Sometimes the wait can be long, so I would recommend phoning your order through first, then go and pick it up about 30 minutes later. Being busy shows how many people love this place, so no problem. Keep it up Pepe's 👌🏼👍🏼

Favourite take away in Dunstable!

I order through online. They didn’t update about order. 2hours later they closed without any info. In meanwhile takeaways also they won’t give 1 peri peri mayo. Not good service

I brought chicken wrap hot as a takeaway & one of the foolish guy i think his name his umair put extra hot sauces in it and now I am suffering with stomach ache! Bad experience with this pepe’s shop I ever had.

Words can’t describe the enjoyment and satisfaction of what I experienced here today. I ordered the fries with peri peri salt and the chicken XL and may I say it was mouthwatering especially paired with a drink. The atmosphere was not too crowded, calm and clean. The service was fast for grilled food and the employees were understanding and nice. Would recommend and would definitely come back.

Food is semi decent but expect a rather long wait. I’ve been twice in the last few weeks and both times they took forever making/preparing the food (even with a phoned up to collect order) I won’t be retuning here again as there are other peri-peri places that don’t take ages to serve me.

Had chicken rice box chicken tasted burnt and chewy and hour later felt so sick think it gave me food poisoning avoid this place they must reheat the chicken

Ordered from here on Sun 13th October (last night) and ended up with food poisoning. My partner ordered the chicken and rice box and was violently sick for several hours this morning & in bed all day today. I ordered the beef burger, I had a fever, felt nauseous and had stomach issues all day. We've ordered from here many times and not had any issues before but due to this we will not be ordering again unfortunately. Especially since this is the 3rd review about food poisoning from the chicken and rice box!

Ordered Chick n Rice Large Meal from here on 11 Sept and had food poisoning. Had to go to the hospital to get it checked and get some medicenes. Still have symptoms. They also gave me small portion of chips when I ordered large.

Before the chicken tasted better, today I was disappointed with the very white chicken, it seems like they made it in a pot and then fried it, but it was very white.

Eat here every day, the owner always gets involved with the staff, and the service is 10/10. Always clean, always good tasting food. One of the best Pepe franchises

The food was perfect, the flavour of the marinated wings made me eating more and more, whilst drenching the wings in the garlic mayo. The variety of sauces which I had with the seasoned chips were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was lively but also perfect for eating. Overall, the food and the service was great which mattered the most.

Always excellent service here, food is always fresh, tender and incredible in flavour and heat (which you can adjust to your liking on the menu) - They do terrific meals and have a great selection. Extra Hot Chicken Strips with the Piri Fries and Extra Hot Dip is always my go to, although I really enjoyed meal Thank you again. Food is very nice however, the whole experience is always ruined by a particular member of staff operating the till (lady wearing a double gold necklace with small balls on). Always rude, rolling her eyes, speaks to customers with attitude and lacks the professional qualities needed when working a face to face customer serving role.

If you're not aware already but the Pepes chicken N rice boxes are world class. We're talking Turkish grill quality chicken N rice in your choice of peri marinade. What's not to love. Easy simple filling and relatively healthy

Food was great here, rice box had enough sauce and the chicken was really fresh. Everything tasted so fresh, unlike some of the branches including Bedford

The food didn't taste the same as the other stores think the preparation method wasn't the same I ordered paneer rice and found out that paneer is fried which normally is grilled

Had Order On phone for collection in Dunstable Told me to collect in 10 min When reached almost after 20 min they said chips getting ready and took another 15min, in short they gave this as a excuse but until you don't pay order isn't ready Thank you

We visited karwan with the family.it was a wonderful experience. The staff over there is Co operative and good. The food especially was amazing 🤩. It is totally worth visiting.

Chicken wings were old, tough, cold, and generally disgusting with an inedible sauce. Fries were old, cold, hard, and not worth the chew. All binned. I will never return. The only point of praise was the lovely young girl taking orders.

First time I've had food from here, though my son eats here regularly and raves about the food. I had the quesaddilla meal which came with chips and a drink. Very tasty and filling, difficult to finish the whole meal. Just under £30 for 4 oeople, so not too bad price wise. Would defo recommend if you're in the area.
