The best restaurants serving Default food in Brundall Broadland East of England

A decent meal and good, friendly service. Remarkebly busy pub in the middle of nowhere! The steaks were o.k. but not super, the starters really good. It depends where you are seated, the core is charateristic, the addition we were seated not very cosy.

Excellent food and service with giant cakes

£5 bottomless pancakes! Not exactly what it says on the tin. Table booked for 4 o’clock didn’t get seated till 4:15. Two girls on service and one decided she was gonna take a break. Obviously not staffed up for such an event. When we had finished our pancakes we then had to wait to be served again which could be a period of 15 mins, you actually only had an hour slot. So how does this work out to be bottomless. Nothing explained when you walk in!! The 2 girls then proceeded to stand behind the counter what seemed to be talking to the local talent from the boatyard fluttering their lashes and continuing to stare at us while sat here for 25 mins waiting to be served. Absolutely appalling service and made to feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable with the glaring eyes and faces of staff that can only be explained as that of a slapped arse. Very disappointed and very disheartening for a place that makes such lovely cakes.

We liked this place and would have made it a more regular haunt until we were turned away because they already had a table of four and a table of five to serve! So ??? We are just two, were in no rush, would have been happy to wait a while and have a drink at the bar. Owner handled the occasion badly, poor attitude and we have not been back since. Shame, as food is good.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights for my husbands birthday. The room was clean and comfortable, the restaurant was great and the staff were extremely helpful. Sherrie gave my husband a gift and card from the staff for his birthday , which was a lovely gesture. This hotel is also very close for the broads it was only 7 miles to wroxham. Will definitely be staying here again.

First time ever using this establishment. Nice clean and well maintained premises with a nice beer garden at the back and seating out the front. The bar staff (Katie with an ie and not a y) was welcoming and with a good sense of humour. Couldn't fault her her warmth and friendliness towards new customers. I'll make an allowance for her inability to make a heart in the head of a pint of Guinness. She tried and I think the management should pay her double time to practice until she can pull off a shamrock! The rest of the staff were equally as friendly and professionally. Great boozer. Reasonably priced. Will definitely return.

We both had a big breakfast. Food gorgeous, service super and right by a lake. So nice we didn't want to leave! Was very full after eating this well cooked, tasty meal x

The Reedcutters was the mid point on our walk while holidaying in Norfolk. We had a warm welcome and a substantial lunch, good old fashioned pub grub. No complaints at all, it's a 'what you see is what you get' kind of pub, nothing fancy but friendly, clean and good value 👍

Another superb meal. The ham was amazingly tasty and quite thick cut. Battered fish and chips was great, huge piece of fish. Excellent value. Great pint of Moongazer with really friendly service.

Really good , we were on a boating holiday , there are mornings outside but not obvious as you go past , had to walk a mile to locate it but was worth it

Limited menu, no alchohol free beer, loww staff levels. Left without ordering.

We went one Christmas so booked a Sunday lunch. Walked in and was told place was now closed - no contact at all. Told we could go to another one in Norwich but it was rammed and food all gone. VERY disappointed. Place was excellent and staff brilliant. It will be missed

Great customer service, and staff always happy especially Hanner was welcoming and helpful drinks were quick too……..
