A brilliant night out ,great staff ,hard working too

No food as kitchen taken out by previous owners. Still advertises food on the post outside. Not good

They're not doing food yet but I understand they are happy for you to bring in a takeaway ie bag of chips 😊 They've a quiz on the first Thursday evening in the month -£2 per person and money goes to the Acle and Brundall Lions 😊 Give it a go.

Had an excellent meal at The Ram today, Thursday lunchtime. Friendly atmosphere, prompt and friendly service and the food was excellent. Steak n kidney pud highly recommended. Very reasonable price too. Good that The Ram back serving great food again

Very friendly staff, customers and good food. This was before it was taken over, no Idea what it is like now.

Very disapointing food was coldand not fresh. The owner was very intimidating and made my partner very uncomfortable. For the price paid we expected better quality. We will not be returning. To top the lot the beer was flat.

Menus on the website are all incorrect as under new management. Very limited choice and no Sunday Roast.

Started in North Walsham and wound our way through the lanes of Norfolk looking for a pub with atmosphere. We eventually took a road that looked like it looped around and came back to the main road, passed the pub, turned around and came back. The atmosphere on a Wednesday at 4.00 in the afternoon was fantastic. We were about to leave, the boss wanted a pitstop and then I got chatting to the locals about rugby, add on another 20 mins or so. I am now looking for a B&B so I can stagger back to bed next time we are in the area. Fortunately we had already arranged for a meal elsewhere otherwise we would have had to sleep in the car. Didn't eat but people and atmosphere was great

Great village pub with friendly locals and staff. Darts board and pool table, juke box snd large garden with children's play area. Ample parking. Gets the sun in the garden late in the day. Recently under new management, staff friendly. At time of writing kitchen under refurbishment but pop-up kitchens available.

Nice pub, first time visit, seems like a great local venue.

A good night in the ram while in the area visiting a friend.

I can't give to much of a deep review as my Mrs and I only called in for a quick drink but the staff were good and seeing as it was a mid day mid week visit I can't comment on it to much.

Currently unable to provide food as they do not have a chef! Pleasant pub.

Spent some time in the village last autumn ,the village Brundall is a real gem on the broads and so close to Norwich . The Ram a great pub ,friendly, serving quality fayre , enjoyable ales and tasty menu ,friendly staff . I live in Spain and found it to be an oasis . Back soon ,I have a funeral to attend . Will be visiting soon ,looking forward to it another visit

Lovely Sunday lunch, would recommend the lamb, beef looked good too, the lady that served us was very friendly. We were walk ins and they accommodated a big table of 7 without a booking

Visited for a funeral wake. Cosy and comfortable. Friendly staff. Food was delicious. Toilets were spotless. The garden area looked lovely too.

Expected adequate pub grub when I went in, but got a lovely meal, beautifully cooked and presented. Vegetables were properly cooked from fresh, and plentiful. Excellent value and a pleasant relaxing atmosphere too.

Very welcoming, good service, great food and not far from home. Outside or indoor eating, plus a BBQ in the gardens. 15/12 Christmas dinner was lovely, staff welcoming and friendly as always.

Just left the Rams Head pub on our way back to Lancashire after having eaten a perfect full flavour Sunday roast . Delicious !!!!! The landlady was so so friendly . Such a shame we live so far away it would have been our local and I'm sure the landlady a friend. If passing you must go there !

Seafood Plutter was the best after a long walk

it's OK, service could be faster

We were trying to find a pub in the way back from a day out that served food, we stumbled across this one. I was a little dubious as it looked from the outside just like a locals pub, but we were hungry and decided to go for it. So glad we did! The staff were friendly, the food was awesome, the portion sizes were generous. We liked it so much that we returned for a second visit in the same week 🫣 second visit didn’t disappoint either.

Friendly staff , nice variety on menu , food was delicious we had the homemade steak pie & veg that was very good ideed and also had buttermilk chicken burger that also was very good .Just passing through but won't hesitate to come this way again

Worth a trip to this excellent pub. And it is a proper pub! My first visit and will go again. Four of us had a meal. The menu is quite extensive with sensible prices. The food was spot on. Smiling happy staff made it even better. Update August 2022. Visited again and sadly they have changed the menu. Several varieties of Pizza along with several varieties of chips. Felt I was in Dominos. There are other items but limited. I had scampi and my two friends had fish & chips which were both nice. A great pub with wonderful staff but, for me, I won't be going again. I can get pizza and chips anywhere.

Nice garden and food. Pizzas home made and generous toppings. Funky chips a useful alternative if you don't want the pizza base. Walking distance from the marinas.

First time there in many years. Couldn't fault it. There was a slight issue with the food order which was put tight immediately and very professionally. Delicious food, I recommend the pork belly. Will return soon.

Brilliant local pub. Real ales, live music and food. Friendly atmosphere, quiz nights and social events. Dog friendly. All you need In a pub. Update Feb 2019: The pub has recently been completely refurbished inside and out and food is now available daily lunchtimes and evenings.

We were looking for dinner and found the Ram Inn. It was great. Great food, service and atmosphere.

Lovely food, too much for me, so had to leave half. Hated doing that.

A pub of two halves. One side is the locals. Bustling. The other is for bar food. Not busy. Food is good wholesome fare. Nice steak and gammon. Really liked the Antipasta starter. Oh and someone likes flowers. Glorious.

2 fabulous meals. Sunday lunch fantastic couldn't fault at all. Rump steak again absolutely brilliant 👏.

Absolutely outstanding From start to finish. Staff are so attentive and were always on hand to help with anything. Food was out of this world, slow cooked beef and lamb just melted in your mouth. All of the rest of the sides were just as amazing. Would highly recommend The Ram Inn. The added bonus of a children friendly play area which is enclosed and very very safe. Everything was just tip top. Thanks for having us

The standard of good was the worst pub food I have ever had . Just cook three or even one fresh meal well. Manager refused to see me and just say to pay for the drink .

Good sized garden with well-spaced tables. Quick service from efficient and friendly staff. Enjoyed the fries we shared, so had to order another helping! Our friends had starters for lunch: seafood cocktail looked grand as did the grilled halumi. We will definitely return.

Since the new owners have completed the reservations The Ram is much more welcoming. Drinks are responsibly priced and food is slightly expensive but is of a good quality. Staff are friendly and welcoming. They offer a takeaway food option which I haven’t tried. Ample free parking and beer garden. Good for families in the local area.

Food was good,but expensive,my main meal was very tasty but did not include any vegetables Service was terrible ,table, booked for 07-30pm Saturday,eventually got our Starters at 08-30,waitress did apologise and complimentary drinks were supplied while waiting ,don't think I would go back

Friendly welcoming pub, clean and modern with a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend. Haven't tried the food but heard it's good but unfortunately only serves until 6pm which is a shame.

Helpful, friendly staff; good beer & a nice modern interior...would be 5 stars but waiting for a new chef! 😃
