The best restaurants serving Default food in Breckland East of England

A lovely little store. Perfect for a stop off on the way to the North Norfolk coast. Look out for the outside decorations at Christmas. The store is so magical when passing in the dark. P.S. Reviewers can only speak as they find, but it’s genuinely disappointing to see one negative review (at the time of writing) amongst the positives. To me, this doesn’t add up. A bit unnecessary when all the reviewer needed to do was politely share their experience with the business. Sadly, it looks like this particular reviewer has done pretty much the same to another business in Norfolk and anyone reading their other negative review might like to take note.

Had a lovely machine decaf coffee at ‘World Peace Cafe’. They do vegan and gluten free as well! Cosy and quiet after shopping! The lovely plants give a great atmosphere…loved the unusual music! Takeaway coffee for £1.50 and a huge tea cake for £1.

Excellent staff and delicious food.

Stayed nearby for a couple of nights and decided to try New Saffron. What a wonderful find! The staff were professional and friendly, the restaurant and toilets were very clean. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with poppadoms. The accompaniments were slightly different to usual but so nice. We chose from the specials menu. We shared a prawn starter. Our main courses were so tasty. The spices used were perfect. The meat was soft and tender. Lemon rice and courgette bhaji were great. It was a nice experience to have an Indian meal that was not dripping with grease. We had ice creams to finish and they were lovely too. 100% recommend this restaurant.

A lovely friendly pub with great food.

We turned up on Sunday without a booking and they kindly fitted us in after a discussion with the chef. (So it may be wise to book on Sunday lunchtime!) There was a usual menu but we went for the roast meal. There was a choice of beef or pork. We tried the pork which came with crackling, a huge Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and vegetables. The pork was a thick slice, nicely cooked. The crackling was nicely crispy and veg not overcooked. Overall a good meal and was too full for dessert!

Stayed there on a Friday night. Very busy but great service and the room was excellent with a very comfy bed. Lovely breakfast the following morning. Definitely recommended.

Had an amazing meal while visiting today. The food was very authentic and tasted great. Our waiter Burhan was so helpful And friendly. Cant wait to come again.

We had always wanted to visit this restaurant and when we did it lived up to all our expectations . The food was delicious - could not fault and the wine and cherry vodka were excellent . Everything on the menu was good value for money with generous portions - I often leave hungry when I eat out but not this time . The owner/chef spoke with us during our meal to check all was ok - it was clear she puts everything into her restaurant and her food reflects this. We can’t wait to return when we’re next passing through thank you for a lovely evening a real treat.

Second time visiting here today and just as great as the first time - portion sizes are excellent with a lovely side salad (with melon too!) and delicious coleslaw too. Will definitely be a regular spot for when next in the area!

Greeted by 3 very happy and friendly ladies. Ordered a Latte and sausage roll which was heated for me and bought to my table. Coffee was lovely and the sausage roll very tasty.Will be back to try one of the cakes which looked yummy.

Found this lovely tea room today, and wasn't disappointed. Staff were really welcoming, food was lovely (breakfast). They even boxed up some cream tea scones for us to take back to our rental. Highly recommend

What a pleasant discovery! Popped in for a cappuccino and scone whilst waiting for car service and found really excellent quality. The scone was spot-on perfect and the cappuccino looked and tasted wonderful. Will be back soon with our pooches.
