Had such a lovely breakfast on Saturday, we came with family and had a lovely meal. The team (including Penny) provided a top service where we were made so welcome.

We cycled to Penny's today, pleased to see the cafe open again and even happier to find her lovely coffee and walnut cake available. We visited this cafe attached to their campsite on a semi regular basis pre covid without booking but I believe booking is the way forward. We arrived without booking and were kindly fitted in. The other diners appeared to be having what looked like lovely full lunches. She has all the requisite Covid precautions in place and as usual a friendly prompt service. The have ample space for bicycle parking.

We received a very warm friendly welcome here yesterday when six of us turned up for lunch. The menu is not too fancy but adequate ,everything is well cooked and hot, my chips for example were crispy and not fatty. The winning dish however has to be the marmalade bakewell tart , it was to die for lovely short crust pastry a light sponge topping and a tangy taste served with a good portion of custard. Will certainly be going back.

Friendly; cute; small tea rooms in quiet village next to excellent campsite but very disappointing cake - very dry and not much flavour

We stumbled upon this tea room by chance and were pleasantly surprised by the friendly welcome we received and wide array of home made cakes and produce. The tea room is a bit tired, but the food looked lovely and was very well priced too. Perfect pit stop for a coffee and cake!

This is obviously a great place for cyclists as there were three groups there when we arrived, a safe place for our bikes while we relaxed over coffee and cake. The food was all homemade and fresh. The staff were friendly and the price was extremely reasonable, definitely one to visit regularly

popped in for lunch early one Saturday lunchtime - very warm welcome from the staff. good choice on the menu - personally I would like something a little less carb heavy. The sandwiches were freshly prepared and delicious, would have like a bit of dressing on the salad however there was an option of mayo or salad cream sachets if I had wished. Reasonably priced and clean it is definately somewhere I will return to on a fairly regular basis. This is a very popular stop off for bike riders.

I was on a cycle trip with 8 friends around the lovely lanes of Norfolk and we stumbled upon Penny's Tea Room whilst looking for a lunch stop. And what a happy stumble it turned out to be! A warm welcome and good food. And Penny was a real laugh with lots of friendly banter with us old boys. The food is just what we were looking for - panini, omelettes, sandwiches, salads and some good cake too. If you're looking for somewhere in mid-Norfolk for a light lunch, this is the place.

My other half and I popped in for a breakfast one late morning after hearing about this place through recommendations on TripAdvisor. We were not from the area and were heading home so thought we would check the area out for food. This was a lovely quaint little cafe in the middle of a sleepy suburban residential area, which to our surprise appeared to be an annexe like attachment to a house with a nice opening and car parking area out the back. The cafe itself had a nice open kitchen in the corner with the other three-quarters of the cafe the seating area, with a mini stage area with a sofa and more tables (where we sat) at the back all surrounded by cafe wall decor and windows along the side. The two ladies running the cafe were really friendly, welcoming, chatty and the food was excellent with great value for money. The food and drink they made for us were amongst the best we had eaten/drunk from any cafe (no exaggeration) and was definitely worth more than we paid even with a small tip! We had a small and large full English respectively and a small and large coffee (cappuccino) with two large orange juices accompanied with some toast. The rest of the menu was great for lunches too and is definitely well worth a visit if you are staying in the area. Wish we could find more places like this!

This is truly a hidden treasure, very welcoming & friendly ladies, nothing is any trouble, everything is fresh & homemade which is always nice to see especially in such rural settings. We can highly recommend the cooked breakfasts but everything looks that amazing you will be spoilt for choice.

This is a really sweet place - great for just putting your feet up and taking in the world. Took my elderly friend here and we really enjoyed the sandwiches. The lady who runs this place does all the cooking and it was so pleasant we are going back next weekend.

We were the first customers to be seated when we arrived upon opening and my husband and I watched as other customers arrived and get seated. We watched as the server went to their tables first to take their orders whilst we sat there seemingly unnoticed. I decided not to say anything just to see what would happen and one of the lovely ladies who seated us came back from whatever she had been doing and asked if we had been served yet. I said no and she was straight on it. Fortunately all staff on shift were well organized and the barista got through the drinks orders like a champ so we didn't have to wait too long. I ordered an oat milk latte and tarragon mushrooms, my husband had the full fry up. Food was delicious and hot. I felt the pricing was a bit off between our two dishes. Mushrooms on toast with 2 poached eggs and a bit of spinach £12 yet my husband's big fry up also had toast, eggs, mushrooms but then had beans, tomato, bacon ,sausages, black pudding for £14. Not a complaint, more of an observation. When we went to pay, the cashier read out what we had ordered and said Almond milk latte. Good job I don't have a nut allergy! Overall a nice experience, delicious food, friendly staff, excellent chef. Will return.
