Following a morning walk at a nature reserve close by we went to Attleborough in the hope of finding a little tea room for a sandwich and a cuppa. We were so pleased to happen upon Bailey's Coffee Shop. We had a delicious cheese toasted sandwich and a pannini with a pot of tea. The cakes looked so good that we had to partake of a piece of millionaires Shortbread and a maple and pecan scone (which was warmed for me too!). The staff were so friendly and everywhere was kept clean.

Visited today, first time for ages. Beautiful day and seeing sign that there’s a garden at back. Small but delightful with pot plants, variety of seating, shaded if required. Good simple menu to please everyone and very friendly host. Home made cakes and very nice coffee. Will definitely be using far more now.

The staff are so nice here, we just popped in for a tea/latte and scone, sat outside and it was lovely. Mix and match crockery, 'proper' clotted cream and jam, super service, can't be faulted. It's appreciated if customers smell nice too(!) We'll be back. NB on Google Maps the café is shown as the previous business which has moved a couple of doors up to larger premises - don't confuse the two - make sure to go to Bailey's!

Had a light lunch is this pretty and well kept small coffee shop/cafe. The staff are friendly and efficient and the interior was pretty and clean and tidy. My friend and I had a light lunch of jacket potato with a lovely substantial salad , and panini with bacon and Brie. The meals were well presented and tasted great! There was also cake which also tasted nice too! I would recommend this food place definitely, the only thing I would mention is that it’s quite cosy and snug and may not be ideal for wheelchair users or people with buggies or small children . On the whole a nice visit :)!

Went here for lunch, strangers to the area and really struggled to find somewhere half decent to eat. The food we had was perfectly acceptable, if you like cafes with endless knick knaks and chintz tablecloths this is ideal for you,its not to my taste, but thats just me. Would not return to Attleborough as the dining options were somewhat limited.

On the way to Lowestoft, we took a wrong turning, and found ourselves In Attleborough. We were feeling peckish, and I have to admit this was the first place we saw while we decided on our re-route. What a find!' Very small, About 15 covers and a couple outside on the pavement, but stuffed with lovely home-made cakes, scones, hot snacks, smoothies, and VERY good coffee.Lovely lady served us, and was humorous and tolerant with our two little boys (5&2)The really BIG bonus was the good availability of Gluten-free options and soya milk for my coffee!Next time I'm near Norwich, I will make a detour for more!

My husband, daughter and I visited the café one lunchtime. The ladies working there were lovely! We ordered sandwiches for all of us, but they made sure they cut my daughter's up into smaller pieces and paid her attention, rather than talking to her through us. She loved her visit and is begging us to return - we will do soon as the prices are very reasonable. Everything is made fresh as well, which adds to the experience. The only thing which could improve it would be increased space within the restaurant. We struggled to fit in properly as I was pregnant at the time and there was a lady in a wheelchair too.

Since my last review of this cafe it has changed hands and has been transformed into the kind of pretty little cafe you might find on holiday.Bought by one of the staff, it has acquired completely new decor and is benefiting from a woman's touch.Lorraine the new owner bakes delicious cakes on the premises and serves the finest coffee in the town. It offers a full range of coffees and teas including fruit teas. In addition there is a good selection of soft drinks available too.;Returning to food, delicious salads are made to order, savoury slices and pasties are available as are sandwiches and baguettes. Baileys is a typical English cafe situated opposite Queens square. We were made to feel very welcome by the friendly staff. The menu is perfect - something for everyone but without the need for a long extensive list which mostly hinder decisions! The food is freshly prepared and we didn't wait long at all. The atmosphere is relaxed without the feel of being rushed that is so common is chain cafes. We'll definately be visiting Baileys again.

We went in because its centrally located on Queens Square and it looked really clean from the outside and we were not disappointed. Friendly staff and the food was brilliant. They prepare everything fresh hot or cold food. There is a deli counter to choose your sandwich (or roll or baguette) filling. So whatever combination you want you can have.Their Fairtrade coffee reminded me of a continental holiday. Then the ultimate in luxury a genuine British Whippy Icecream machine. Traditional Knickerbocker Glories, 99's, and banana splits. Heaven in a cone.Loved the place to bits. So unusual to find a little gem like this in a world of sterile costa's and starbuck's.We will be back.

It's a shame this lovely little venue is still closed down even now covid regulations have lifted but fortunately they still do food takeaway /delivery. I couldn't find the menu online to see what they offer, but I was able to call and as it was Sunday order the Sunday roast. This is available as a small or large, which is a nice option, as I personally prefer a smaller portion. I did ask if they had a vegan option , which they didn't but as a one off I had the vegetarian nut roast and was able ask for it without the Yorkshire or cauliflower cheese. Even as a small portion , it was really generous and had lots of vegetables, which makes me happy. Would certainly order from here again and even more so I look forward to this venue opening its doors hopefully soon, so I can enter the venue for food and drinks .

They opened specifically for us as normally they only do Sunday lunches. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and plentiful. Everyone had a perfect Christmas experience and the service was excellent.
