Called in for drinks and ended up staying for lunch - real ales absolutely first class plus a bonus lunch - what was supposed to be a quick drink turned into an afternoon session! Will definitely be going back.

So delighted to see the pub open as we stayed in Bintree last year and it was undergoing refurbishment. Booked Sunday lunch today but have popped in for drinks over the last few days too. Lovely welcoming and comfortable pub, real open fire and a good selection of beers as well. Staff are super friendly and it has a really nice friendly atmosphere. Sunday lunch was served piping hot good selection of vegetables, good service as well. All in all a lovely pub with a warm & welcoming atmosphere, great food, great staff, highly recommend!

Great English village pub with exquisite attention to detail. Marvellous service. Friendly staff and locals. Happened upon the Royal Oak by chance on a bike ride during a weekend away. So good, we had to return on Sunday for a cheeky pint. New management- you should be proud of your achievements. Shame we couldn’t stay longer

Came last night for a few drinks on opening night and it was amazing. The bar is stunning, the refurbishment has clearly been done to a very high standard. The atmosphere was brilliant, food van outside had some delicious buckets of loaded chips, great drinks, live music was brilliant. Can’t wait to go again. Thanks Jay and Hazel, you’ve outdone yourselves!

The Royal Oak, Bintree, is closed again. When it was open the food was good but there was no atmosphere and it is off the "beaten track" in a very quiet village. Sad but true.

Very welcoming and friendly. Superb variety on menu. All home cooked. The combinations on the menu offer excellent variety of choice even down to the choice of mash and gravy.

The pub may not be the flashiest but the service is friendly and the food is just wonderful. Good old fashioned British Sunday lunch. Except we booked in advance for a large party on a weekday night. They were very happy to oblige for us. Beautifully roasted meat with perfect veggies and tasty gravy. Yes and roast potatoes and Yorkies too. Under a tenner with dessert. Great.

We popped in on the way to a local hotel for the weekend to grab some lunch. Having never been here before I didn't really know what to expect. The landlord and other customers in the pub were very welcoming and friendly, we were able to sit on a cosy sofa in front of a roaring fire and were treated to a couple of bowls of delicious, homemade soup. Bintree is a bit of a way from where we live but if we're in the area again we'll definitely pay it another visit!

We visited here today with my son, his girlfriend, my 2 daughters and my parents for Mothers Day. What a find! The staff were really lovely, and great with my disabled mum and youngest daughter. The food was very good, we all had a carvery which was delicious and hot. Great value for money, 2 courses for £8.99. We will defiantly be back! A huge Thank You to all.

The other evening went to the Royal Oak at Bintree just off the Fakenham road with our Bowling friends, very friendly place and staff helpful. The food is always good and the chef comes out to see us to make sure that everything is well with us. It is good value for money, so don't forget to give it a look when you pass this way.

Last night out with friends we went to the Royal Oak at Bintree on the Fakenham road and found the food good and value for money. It has new people running this lovely old pub and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The menu is not to big so easy to choose from, we did not have to wait to long for our food .Cosy in the bar area or there is the restaurant area behind the Bar, this is where they serve the Carvery on Sundays. So pop in and give it a try?.
