The best restaurants serving Default food in Thetford-Saxon Breckland East of England

When driving through Thetford on the way to London for our sons 13th birthday, we thought we’d get a breakfast at Sainsbury’s, thinking it would have a cafe. I asked the sainsbury’s security guard if there was an in store Cafe, and he directed us across the road to this little gem!! Service was fantastic and the breakfast and cost were too. We’ll be back.

Mama D is my hero, the food is fantastic! Prices are exceptional and the quality of food is outstanding. I recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

We returned to this takeaway having had a good experience before. This time was less enjoyable with the crispy shredded beef being soggy and lacking in flavour. The Chow Mein and sweet and sour chicken were competent

Advertised on Google Maps and the door of the branch as open until 1830 on Sundays. Decided to walk there (30 mins) to cut out an unnecessary car journey, only to find the door being locked at 1758. Drive-thru apparently still open until 1830... but the staff member refused to serve us via that route because we weren't in a car 🤦‍♂️. I'm sure there are rules & regs that prevented them from showing any flexibility, but customer service aside, this is not a good look from a sustainability angle.

Lovely cosy pub, nicely decorated ahead of Christmas. Good lighting and brilliant service from Scott, it's so refreshing to have a happy waiter/server who is genuinely good at their job! Sadly, the food was disappointing. Under cooked vegetables and very sad looking roast potatoes on the festive menu but a good proce considering portions.

As title the food is excellent really delicious and good value! Unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired. We waited so long for desert and then was not even offered coffee etc. They were setting up for the next day completely ignoring us.

Lovely food , initial confusion over menu . Menu printed on the table as well as in on paper!! Confusion was soon forgotten when the food turned up!! Very very good

Often stop here while charging for a pit walked in at 7.30am to get a takeaway coffee after checking website which details they open 7. Before I even had a chance to speak was told that they were not open. No offering of when they open after travelling 3 hours we were just after a warm drink not impressed
