Not as good as the last time we visited the place but still OK

Cheap Sunday Roast deal with a pint £10's what's not too like,food was passable.

2nd visit to the chase Impressed again passing through to see family excellent service and the food was amazing we had the lamb kofta flatbread the staff was very polite and helpful even chatting with the manager as a fellow fishing enthusiast talking to me about the local ponds we seen on way in

This is a very clean pub with friendly helpful staff. The food served is very consistent with large portion sizes and great value. I'd recommend the Full Monty Mixed Grill. Just wow

Are you cost cutting? Fries were smaller than what id expect to see in a child’s plate, for a burger that costs over £10 not good value. And as for the sausages, i hope you have strong teeth..

Yummy food and cool colouring papers but needs more mindless self indulgence songs in the background if nice.

Quality of the chicken was awful, and there was hardly any cheese, bacon or sauce. The crown of burgers was mostly just bread and lettuce. I'm not usually one to give reviews, but the quality of the chicken really needs addressing. Food used to be great but has recently taken a turn for the worse.

Great pub, clean, excellent service from the staff and the food is very good at a reasonable price.

This is probably one of the best Hungry Horse pubs I have been to - we was seen to a table for food quickly, served well at the bar for food / drink orders, and the chap going round tidying tables gave the kids some colouring bits pretty much as soon as we sat down and managed to answer my questions, and checked up on us when food came etc. Wasn't sure what to expect for food as I ordered a roast, normally get a burger from Hungry Horse - but it was very nice, and my son said the same with his kids version. The wife had a Lamb Keema Stack and there was loads of food - she couldn't finish it! The only pain was that my son likes apple juice and they ran out, and my daughter got a candy mania ice cream with her kids meal but it wasn't what she thought it would be! (I think she was expecting sweets and ice cream!) Otherwise a pretty good visit and wouldn't hesitate visiting again.

This has the potential to be a great pub, don't get me wrong it's better the. It was 10 to 15 years ago. But the servers have no clue , kitchen may have bee understaffed but there was an hour wait when there where besrly half the tables filled . The food was lacking but it was cheap so half and half on that. Just lacking really

Good atmosphere, nice outdoor area and generally ok prices but mugs were quite dirty and hot drinks were already cold when served. Overall worth a visit but lower your expectations. Free parking on site is a plus.

When we went it was reasonably busy, we had a 40 minute wait, we both had gammon with pineapple and egg with chips and peas.

We are so disappointed on this place the place is dirty all tables were sticky the roast dinner is absolutely disgusting,full English breakfast it’s unbelievable. For the prices they are charging it’s unbelievable

We have come here quite frequently in the past but our last 3 visits have been very stressful despite the restaurant being two thirds empty the service is so slow a snail moves faster. All visits before this were great the staff do not seem at all concerned and say they they have a normal amount of staff. We will not be returning and I advise everyone to go elsewhere unless they have a few hours to spare.

Been here twice now, absolutely loved the chicken sandwich the first time and would come back just for that! but would not recommend the fish and chips! The fish was awful and so dry and had no flavour and the portion size was tiny for what I payed :/

This Is a very welcoming pub, with professional, efficient and friendly Staff. The food and drink was excellent and very reasonably priced. My Wife and I had a very pleasant chat with the Manager on the Sunday evening 25th August, whom I believe was Steve? A really friendly and knowledgeable Guy, and as I say we were made to feel very welcome. An excellent "Mine Host". a big thank you to all of the Staff. 5 stars !!

Again another excellent visit to the Chase. Served quickly at the bar, staff very friendly and the food came out within 15 minutes and was delicious as always. Say what you will about the Chase but it is always clean, consistent the team are fantastic

Absolutely lovely place, the staff are amazing and we had the most delicious food, the gluten free seabass was incredible! The staff were so helpful and accommodating! Unfortunately they were out of a lot of soft drinks which is the only reason I couldn’t give 5* but the staff were very apologetic and got us great alternatives, 10/10 would recommend, definitely going back :)

Grubby. Haven't been for a few years and nothing has changed for the better. Everything needs a clean. Menus have sticky finger prints over them, as do some of the frames on the walls etc. Had garlic mushrooms with bread. There was so much butter that the bread was soggy and I couldn't eat it. Service marked down as other than having our food delivered, there was no interaction since ordering done on the app. The people that brought the food were very polite though. I'm sure they used to have a vegan menu. If the did, they don't anymore. Probably won't return.

Staff were friendly & polite, food was quite nice except for the chicken which was undercooked & very white. That would be my only concern & I have visited this establishment several times over the years last couple of years.

The food was of a poor standard how a chef could send the dish out looking like that was shocking. The fish looked like it was lifted from the floor and tasted as if it was.

It had only just opened when we got there. So it was clean and food was good value for money. As they weren't busy we just sat and chated with our friends. Never felt rushed to leave. It was good we will return

Very happy with our experience here. The staff was kind. ( Although, I still wish there were clearer instructions from them when coming in, to "Come order at the bar or through our app, when you're ready. " For someone new to this restaurant chain, I'm finding that it's never said, and can get confusing if you're just waiting for a waitress and no one comes around. We really enjoyed our food. The portions were very large and filling. I would recommend getting a pitcher to drink instead of a single glass full, as the cups seem very small. (At least to an American, it would be.) I can not emphasize enough that they don't have take-away boxes!! If you plan on bringing home leftovers (if you have them), then you may have a bag given to you or some tin foil. You will find that you must get creative when wrapping up your dinner. Overall: we would dine here again and recommend coming here. Great a pub to bring a family to. (Our children loved it. )

Cheap and cheerful, can't go wrong!

Came in for the England game, and wow what an atmosphere!! Everyone on the bar was clearly busy but kept smiling as they were going. Lovely to see! The two guys that were serving food were also really busy but kept smiling and nothing was too much trouble. 10/10

Went to the Chase with out of town friends as previous visits there have been excellent. We were pleased to see a new menu on our latest visit and the food again did not disappoint. I highly recommend the Lamb Keema Stack. As always the staff were very friendly and Tori was very helpful throughout our visit.

Here for the football so not the quietest night for sure, and the person serving is on her second shift here - Shannon, and not only does she have the best recall for a drinks order but is totally smashing it out of the park!

Came and was seated very quickly, restaurant is nice and clean. Food was tasty and came out quickly as did the drinks and desserts

Chase was full for the England match but our food came out very quick and was cook perfectly Fishand Chips is absolutely delicious. Shout out to Molly and Carmen, excellent service and even with a packed pub we’re still smiling

We had been told by the friend we were meeting it was dog friendly but on entering with our pet on its lead we were asked by a staff member to go back outside and use the rear outside enclosure the door in front of us led to this but the staff member barred the way the outside seats are wooden benches not so comfortable when like me 86 years old with arthritic knees my original review of one star i apologize for we had travelled 50 miles by road to meet an old army mate here
