Nice lunch, choice of standard menu or smaller potion lunchtime menu. Pleasant staff and atmosphere. Wasn't busy (Tuesday) and the very quick service reflected that. Worth a visit

We were staying in the ajoining Premier Inn, and had dinner at The Warrener on our first evening in Thetford. We received a warm welcome from Bonny who also gave us good advise on the selections which were availble to us. We selected a three-course dinner, all of which was very good and very enjoyable! If staying at the Premier Inn again, we would have no hesitation at enjoying another meal at The Warrener.

It’s a Premier Inn pub, you know what you’re getting in terms of food and pricing, a decent meal that makes for an affordable night out with family. The variance comes from the quality of the service and we were lucky to receive great service from all of the polite and well humoured staff, especially Shannon who waited on us. Customer service can be a hard and unrewarding job at times but Shannon made it seem effortless, it’s people like her who can elevate a standard pub meal into a much more enjoyable experience through the high levels of quality and friendliness of their service.

Great pub. Served by Kiera who was very friendly and attentive. Food and drinks arrived very quickly and good quality for the price. One of the better eateries attached to a Premier Inn.

Visited for lunch, shown to our table by Kiera who was friendly, attentive and made us feel welcome. Our drinks and food were also served by Kiera which were good. Would recommend restaurant and would visit again.

Came here for dinner and the service was outstanding. All workers were very helpful with my allergies. Our waitress Abbie was very polite and helpful and gave us everything we needed so quickly! Kiera was also very kind and friendly when coming to check that all of our food was good. Food was also lovely, very quick coming out and had so many gluten free options. Very good experience would definitely recommend especially if you do have allergies as they are very helpful with those.

Me and my husband had travelled from liverpool for a funeral and had booked in to the Premier Inn thetford we went in the warrener attached to the Premier Inn had a meal which was excellent our waitress kiera was lively polite bubbly and very helpful nothing was to much for her it was so busy I would highly recommend this restaurant

Waiter Josh was superb. Disappointed no mash, disappointed Steak pie crust was so hard could only eat the filling. Too long to wait for food and between courses for service.

An excellent venue with first class food at a price range to suit most people. Great choice of food and a really excellent service. The staff are always very nice and friendly. We visit often and will continue to do so.

Since before Xmas the menu has been restricted because of the supplier having issues so unfortunately there was only a limited amount of choices every time we went but the service we got was above and beyond as always throughout the time the staff had to endure this through no fault of their own making sure everything was ok with our meals so they truly deserve praise for dealing through all that especially Xmas new year bookings etc

Had a lovely evening meal here whilst in the area for work. Kiera was extremely friendly, professional and attentive, making sure every guest had what they needed. The pub is massive inside but it still has a homely atmosphere. Parking is free of charge and plenty of spaces available. Would definitely return in the future!

Excellent. but lose one star for the calamari being a bit over cooked. I asked for an Irish coffee, but with rum instead of whisky, (hate whisky) but they did not seem to be able to do that, cannot think why, it's not that complicated. a large party was very noisy. the outside paving was very uneven for my wheelchair..

Reliable, traditional cooking, albeit not necessarily the last word in quality. However, they have very reasonable prices - especially breakfast where a family of up to 2 adults and 4 kids can graze on the unlimited buffet of hot and cold food and drinks for under £22 🤩

Had dinner here tonight, and I have to say, the service from Caitlin and Bonnie was brilliant, very polite, pleasant and a credit to your Business. I'll definitely be returning.

Turned up before they started on lunches, was ignored for 10 mins then told to come back later.

Came here for dinner today absolutely shocking we ordered what we’re supposed to be nachos and there was barely anything for the price that they are we then waited half an hour for our main course I had the hunters chicken and my chicken was raw. I told the waitress lady and she just took the food back to the kitchen and she didn’t apologise. They did give me the meal for free but obviously I hadn’t eaten any of it. No one apologised rubbish service won’t be coming back.

Lovely place, clean and tidy. The staff were very nice and concerned if we had any allergies. We even had breakfast there.

Booked for 10 people when we arrived sat down and ordered drinks we was then told that alot of the menu was unavailable due to no delivery. I asked for buttery jacket potato which is on the menu as a side I asked for tuna but they had no tuna so I had cheese on a supposedly buttery jacket spud there certainly was no butter and the cheese was all under the potato not in it ,no side salad disgusting service wasn't good food not great menu out off stock won't be going back there and don't recommend

After a long day out walking, my wife & I decided cooking wasn't going to be an option, so we decided to dine at the Warrenner. Michelle made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived & really went that extra mile to find us a nice spot in the restaurant. We ordered the two course Christmas dinner. Food was served promptly & it did not disappoint. Hot, plentiful & delicious. Will definitely be returning very soon.

Shockingly bad experience! Very limited menu, offered little recompense, lied to about what was available and then got charged for deserts included in children’s meal deal. One off family Christmas meal which I would not recommend to my worst enemy… “Festive menu”… my arse!

Today we went to The Warrener for a birthday meal. Upon arrival we were advised that there was a limited menu & we should have received an email stating this, we did NOT! OUR server Abbie was efficient & polite she explained there had been an ammonia spillage at the food factory. The choice on the Menu was very limited!! For our Vegetarian in our party there was only Cheesy Chips as an option as they don't eat vegetables or salads. Three in our party had the roast dinner, the roast potatoes & Yorkshire puddings looked like supermarket bought frozen Aunt Bessie's, we were VERY disappointed! We would have changed our venue had we known, complete waste of nearly £150.00

We visited on a busy Saturday lunchtime. Our server Sarah was very professional, we had a party member in a wheelchair, she sorted out suitable table for us with no fuss and was very accommodating All our meals were correct, everything was hot and tasty. Service was excellent. The atmosphere is exactly as you’d expect, very family friendly and comfortable

Food can be hit & miss at times!

We went previous week for a lunch as group of 4 and were left a bit disappointed. Interior is dated and atmosphere not great. Menu was limited and it wasn't announced in advance, even though we pre booked our lunch. Smothered chicken didn't had enough souce and salad amount was only couple forks. £11,99 meal for two wasnt available. Not the best experience. Hopefully some of the reviews will be taken in to consideration and improvement will follow.

Went for breakfast! What breakfast? No pastries, just bread and fruit. Slow service when it came to replenishing the cooked breakfast buffet and lots of empty dishes and basket. Not impressed and won't be going back.

This restaurant has rapidly gone down hill. Food is always cold, service is slow even when no one in restaurant. Tried 3 times this year rubbish everytime don't waste your money here

Went for a xmas meal with friends,didn't make much of a fuss,as wanted to enjoy myself,but the xmas meal,turkey & trimmings was tasteless,no substance to it at all,the gravy was like water,if you serve this on xmas day,I think you would get a lot of complaints,as a member of our party said,this is hardly any different to what we could get here any night of the week,but prices have shot up ?

Brilliant evening at The Warrener for our annual Xmas reunion. The staff welcomed our party of 22 with good food and a lovely atmosphere which they do every year. Staff were unwilling to accommodate a larger sized booking (which was booked ahead of time) and wouldn’t offer food. They were rude and unwilling to assist us and it was not an inviting atmosphere. The Crown in Mundford (which is a significantly smaller pub) was willing to cater for us. Would not recommend The Warrener.

Should be an option for zero stars since they have denied our PRE BOOKED booking food. Manager has obviously been cheated on recently as she was extremely rude but seems to be a running theme with British service staff.

I wish I could give it zero stars. Manager was extremely rude and unwilling to accomodate our group. We had a booking and decided to leave after their terrible customer service and relocated to the Crown in Mundford who were happy to accomodate despite being a smaller venue and were extremely friendly.

Terrible experience, booking made and on arrival rudely greeted and shoved in a corner that didn’t have enough seating, left quickly to The Crown which was more than happy to accommodate.

Lovely place for a big breakfast

Visited here with friends as it was a good half way point. Good service, nice pub and nice food just small portions hence price being cheap for 3 course meal.

Regular visitors but at last I feel I can say the food was really nice. I had smoothed chicken which was cooked really well, chicken wasn’t dry and was really tender. My husband had lasagne which was also cooked exactly as he liked it. Only one issue, the garlic bread hadn’t been toasted but didn’t spoil our experience. Well done the kitchen staff. Also, thank you to the waiting staff for their attention

We absolutely love The Warrener. Let me say...every Premier Inn restaurant is clearly not the same. Recently I've been travelling around the UK, taking for granted that the quality of food we experience at The Warrener we would experience everywhere. This is a complete myth. The food at The Warrener is high end restaurant quality. A bit like quality home cooking. And the service there is equally exceptional. Lucy has been looking after us for many years now, but the standard of service is always very personal and very rich. We absolutely look forward to eating there. It feels like home from home, but waaaay better. I recommend very highly.

I honestly wish I could give this place 10 stars. Myself, my husband and 2 year old have been coming here atleast once a year for the past two years as a stop gap between our Center Parcs holiday and its my absolutely favourite part of our time away. We always stay at the premier inn attached and have dinner and breakfast. The food is amazing so fresh and delicious like a home cooked meal. The staff are so welcoming and friendly an are always happy to accommodate your requests as best they can. The atmosphere is so relaxing and family friendly. I cannot speak highly enough of the food, staff and atmosphere and I would recommend to anyone who was staying in or visiting Thetford.

I visited this place with family on a Sunday, it was busy but not over busy There were 14 of us prebook. It was a bit of a disaster tell you the truth. The Staff were very friendly and ambieant. The place is warm and friendly and your made to feel welcome. However most of our food arrived coldvto the table on both starters and mains. Cutlery was also missing and drinks were ordered twice by mistakes. I'm guessing it's just miss communication with staff and us having a large number on our table. I wouldn't mind but the minimal food on your plate as well for what you pay is quite shocking when it arrives cold. The manager was very friendly and took a discount off and offered some free deserts to 3 of us which was nice considering nobody really ate there cold food. However over £300 to pay with a discount is a shock. I have in the past recommended this place as a nice cosy spot for couples to wine and dine. I will not be recommending The Warrener for large group sit down meals as it seems the staff get overwhelmed and the kitchen can not keep up.

Spur of the moment decision to call in for a roast. Always good food here and bonus that they had turkey. I also like the fact the staff always stop for a chat. Makes it very relaxing.

My monthly visits are with a Breakfast Club. The Warrener not only welcomed us to hold our events in the restaurant, they gave us a permanent booking for each of our monthly events, and allocated us a suitably separated area where we could conduct our business without disturbing other guests. The food is of a high quality, fresh from the kitchen, hot and very tasty. The breakfast, together with Tea and Coffee, are bottomless and available throughout the breakfast period. The service and attention that we receive from all the staff during our events is friendly, very hospitable, and most accommodating. A great venue.

My son has special needs and the team in the Premier Inn and the restaurant are always very welcoming to him and his habits and needs that come with his autism. We particularly appreciate the kindness from Meghan in the hotel and Sam, Conor and Kiera in the restaurant. Kiera is very nice with John and listens very carefully to his needs. She always serves drinks and food to John first which is a nice touch. Thank you all.

What a lovely team that work here. Keira was our server and she (and her colleagues) made our meal so special. The food was spot on, we were comfortable, and the price was really good value. But what made our evening was the genuinely warm and friendly staff. They were kind, attentive, thoughtful and nothing seemed too much trouble. They gave my daughter a gift for her birthday which was completely unexpected - I'd asked them when we arrived if they did anything special for birthdays, but this was way more than a birthday hat or a balloon - it was a box of chocs and a personalised card. The good service didnt stop there. Against my wishes, my daughter wanted to pay for the meal, so between the staff a diversion was created by them to distract her at the bar, leaving me free to deal with the bill :-) I honestly cannot fault the team, from the friendly bar staff to the kindness shown by Keira. They clearly love their job and enjoy looking after people. Thankyou for making our dinner such a pleasant experience.

Good quality classic pub food at amazingly accessible prices with very friendly staff. And a deal of £12 for two meals, from 12-6 pm during the week! Best fries I’ve had in a long time, so crispy and fresh.

Average no thrills affordable diner easy

We live close by and it is an excellent spot to stop and relax. The Warrener hosts a very cozy atmosphere inside while the out doors tables provide a breezy spot for get-togethers with friends. Sam is an absolute legend and I'm always happy to see him there - especially behind the bar! Tonight we were served by Kiera, and she made us feel at ease, and even brought us the ton foil out to wrap up our baby's food. Class.

We had gone to Thetford for a family trip and booked in for dinner at The Warrener. The service was incredible! Shannon was a special stand out, she somehow managed to remember all our orders despite all the tables in her section being full, you never felt like you were taking up her time either. The food was incredible, the service speedy. Highly recommend going.

I have been visiting the Warrener for several years mainly around lunch time and always experienced affordable choices of food and great service. There is plenty of free parking at the time of my visits, so I'm not sure if they are planning parking cameras in the near future.

Lunch in Tuesday. 11.99£ for 2 fish and chips. Big portions. Tasty. No issues at all. Friendly staff. We will be back 😁

Really enjoyed The Warrener, took my dad for dinner. He is 83, struggles to walk but staff are so lovely patience and empathetic towards him, nothing is to much trouble and they work so hard.

We came last Sunday; needed a table for 10 … 4 adults and 6 kids we booked online with no difficulties and we’re there within the hour. A warm reception and are server for the evening was Josh; he was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Kids meals were good value and with a starter main and dessert for £6.49 my hungry 12 & 11 year old were full too. Will definitely visit again-thanx very much. Blue light card accepted here too couldn’t ask for more, we will be returning for a roast soon.
