The best restaurants serving Default food in Thetford-Castle Breckland East of England

I visited yesterday with a large group of Meet Watton members after a walk exploring around the wonderful sights of Thetford. On arrival our outside tables had been reserved for us as agreed, and we received a very warm welcome from the staff. The service was first class, and the cakes and drinks were delicious and very well received by all of our members. Thank you so much for hosting our end of walk refreshments. We look forward to visiting you again soon.

This was my first visit to Nimmi. It was lovely to see a menu that is different to the usual offerings from Indian restaurants. It was really hard to choose because of the excellent and interesting range of dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. The staff were lovely. Friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be going again.

I thought about booking this hotel, but after seeing the owners responses to the reviews, I’ve decided not to. He is clearly unprofessional and has no idea how to accept criticism. All he does is deny, attack and then it would appear lie about dissatisfied customers. I speak as someone who has worked at the very top of the customer service industry and have owned and run 5 star establishments myself. I’ve no doubt there will be a low tone of response to my opinion. ps I would seriously rethink your TV advert, clearly made on a shoestring! ( As owner has now replied, with a very strange response. At what point in my review did I state it was the TV advert that put me off staying?)

Came for Fish & Chips on a Sunday Bank Holiday week end. Told No Fish...what !! So I gave 1 star this time.

This review relates to the Costa drive-thru on the outskirts of Thetford. We were banned from taking our dog by a rude, clearly animal-hating employee. The Costa brand is very quickly dissolving: - huge price variations on same products in different stores - vastly different opening hours - some Costas welcome dogs, others ban them There is no professional, courteous or commercial consistency any more. The same is NOT true of other coffee chains. Confidence in Costa has fallen through the floor - thankfully there are plenty of alternatives. If you are a dog lover you are urged to boycott COSTA.

Just ordered a pizza and garlic bread from this place and it was terrible! I've ordered food from here many times and am a repeat customer. It had so much grease on and under the pizza that I thought John Travolta was gonna jump out and start singing about his chills and the garlic bread was soggy to the point of being wet. My partner called Pizza Plus and asked politely for a refund as we are not going to soggy garlic bread and soggy oily pizza. The manager after offering fresh food and our refusal (he said that was his position) literally shouted over my partner, would not let her speak and at first refused to provide written proof that we would receive a refund. This left my partner very anxious and quite literally shocked at the way he treated her. This is the worst customer service I have ever received and will advise everyone not to order food from this place as they have no respect for their customers. I will be paying a visit to the shop in the near future to speak with the manager and find out why he thinks it's appropriate to shout at female customers over the phone.

I ordered on Uber Eats and wanted a spicy Italian toasted. The receipt had the correct order but the sandwich was tuna. How you mess that up is beyond me!

Delivery time takes the piss 2 hours called them they said it will be 15 minutes and it has only just gone out for delivery then still took 30 minutes could of Warked there and back in less time

Feedback for Room 1 in this hotel. Pros: Quick check-in Big room Comfy bed (even though there was folded cardboard beneath the legs of the bed) Nice view out of window Friendly staff (mostly) Breakfast buffet + cooked breakfast was delicious Cons: Very dated decor in general Mouldy dead wood on the window ledge TV smart features do not work Dodgy key lock Plumbing issues (temperature of shower does not regulate) Damaged pipes in bathroom No window left open for my arrival (scorching hot day) HEATING WAS ON FULL when I arrived No 3 pin sockets beside bed! Not good for people with Sleep Apnoea I really feel like this place rests on its laurels somewhat, given Thetford is the home of Dad's Army, with the Bell (Greene King) hosting the Dad's Army cast in the late 60s and 70s. I think Greene King know this and assume guests won't care - but we do. I liked the Dad's Army touch in and around the pub. However, overall, not great value for money in my opinion.

Cold calling me, Never been to Thetford or this establishment so don't know why they are cold calling.

Fantastic fish & chips Beautiful people very satisfied on the food services and the service that I received and I rate this food to all the public.

4 items were missing and the pizza and bakes were cold. couldn't log 2 separate issues for refund.

I didn't get past the first hurdle !! They wanted £20 deposit to take the booking !!! I do understand why they would want to do that, but to my mind that is unacceptable.
