Update Christmas Eve 2024 Back in Swaffham visiting family. Went to one of our favourite restaurants anywhere to get a takeaway. Very, very busy given it was Christmas Eve, but no problem , order taken and the customary Cobra and red wine whilst waiting. A perfect Eve of Christmas. Long may this restaurant prosper. It most certainly deserves to!!!! Update March 2024. Back in Swaffham visiting family, back at Indian Summer for takeaway. Usual Cobra and red wine whilst waiting (part of the delight of the Indian Summer and our reason for not ordering online or by 'phone). The usual superb customer service and of course the superb food. Maybe we should convince them to open a "satellite restaurant" where we live in the far north of Scotland, we certainly need it. Would happily award more than 5 stars in all respects. Update August 2023. Back visiting family and a trip to get our favourite takeaway. As usual a glass of Cobra and a glass of red wine whilst waiting. The manager and his staff are superb and have first rate customer service skills. You are made to feel to be THE most important people in the restaurant. Excellent food, excellent service, very good pricing and generous portions make a meal from Indian Summer most desirable. No hesitation in recommending FIVE STARS in EVERY respect. See you next time we are down here. Update February 2023. Back in Swaffham, first point of call, what has become a favourite restaurant for a takeaway. Customary glass of Cobra and red wine whilst waiting. Wonderful, friendly reception, excellent service, fabulous food. Truly a 5* establishment. Update December 2022. Back in the area again and headed to Indian Summer for a takeaway. Customary glass of Cobra and red wine whilst waiting. Excellent service and food. A great restaurant. Update June 2022. Back in the area - went for a take away. Order placed, shown to a table to enjoy a superb pint of Cobra and a glass (large) of red wine to await our order. Made to feel that we were the most important customers in the restaurant. FIVE STAR SERVICE and when we got back to our relatives a FIVE STAR range of Indian dishes. Absolutely wonderful 🙂, how I wish we had a restaurant of this quality where we live in the far north of Scotland. Original comment 2021. A wonderful evening enjoying the excellent food and excellent service. All in all, superb. Would definitely recommend. Will certainly be making another reservation when next in the area.

Well situated cafe in the market place. Arrived at lunchtime on a sunny day so it was busy and all the tables outside were taken. On entering we received a friendly, smiley welcome and were shown a free table. Later discovered that there was also seating upstairs, so plenty of room. We ordered coffees, a fruit scone and a cheese scone. Everything arrived promptly. The scones were both warmed and tasted delicious, the coffees were good too. Not long to wait to pay our bill at the counter and we left feeling refreshed. We would definitely return.

My husband and I recently celebrated belatedly our Golden Wedding Anniversary with High Tea at Co Coes, Strattons. The High Tea was delicious and very well presented. The ambience of Co Coes was just great for a small gathering and the staff were very attentive and so helpful. All in all it was a lovely memorable occasion.

Fabulous cafe under new ownership and now with excellent food and drinks and reasonably priced. Added bonus is that the staff and service are amazing.

Firstly conduct an internal study of where your branch cafe stands against that of your other branches . Up amongst the top 5 ! Wow Pretty impressive considering some of those branches are larger and in more affluent areas , yet a branch in a small market town n Norfolk is giving them a run for the money . Even more surprising in light of said small town already having 10 other eateries offering breakfasts including a Greggs . So what is it we are doing right and what can we do to b@lls it up ? We know we are not the cheapest , in fact apart from one with similar prices we’re the most expensive and yet these pesky customers keep coming to us . So we need to find out why . Right , we now know that our cafeteria staff are hard working , dedicated and friendly . What’s more we are told by their loyal regulars that they create a market street ambience a world apart from the usual faceless , soulless and sterile corporate canteen . Oh my God it’s even worse than what we first thought . It seems that both our front of house and kitchen staff know a big percentage of our customers by name . This is terrible because we can’t do anything about this , how will we ever ruin our cafeteria trade at this rate ? O.k , let’s not panic yet , what other reasons are there for this dreadful scourge of constant unwanted repeat trade ? We know it’s not our pricing mmmmm🤔 EUREKA ! Quality ! we are burdened with an established brand reputation for quality . Well that’s easy to destroy . What’s our most popular breakfast ? Full English you say . Again , far from the cheapest in town but not swimming in grease , beautifully cooked with our own sausages , eggs and so forth and cleanly presented . Yum , yum . Right , get that off the menu for a start . Wait a minute though , our sausages and bacon in a crusty rustic roll are far too popular by half . I’ve got it , let’s replace them with those disgusting little pre made up numbers that you ping in the grotty little plastic bags they come packed in . You know , the ones that look and taste like they’ve been run over by a steam roller or have come out of a skip behind a motorway service station They come out with a chewy texture and a strange uniform non taste , a combination of the sausages which taste like bread to begin with , and the plastic bag a percentage of which leaches into the so called food . Guys give me my bonus now , we can make the sausages half the size of the originals and charge the same price 😁👍 That’s the way to do it 🤮 Unfortunately I can’t separate the star rating to give the caff staff what they deserve which is 5 stars and more besides . Even now they’re professionalism compels them to try and put a spin on it but I suspect they are not happy with the these clueless and ill thought out changes . Many years ago I worked in the food and retail industry and remember a time before accountancy thinking . Those were the days where the industry was customer lead and the supplier would react to their likes and supply them accordingly and still produce a healthy profit . Yet another example of less for more and stuff the consumer .

This is the third time we’ve stayed at this hotel in recent years and it hasn’t really improved much. The staff were very good, considering the poor quality hotel. The public areas and rooms were dated and below par considering the cost. Travelodge and Premier Inns are far superior The hotel is in need of a complete renovation, being somewhat tired, dark and grubby. The bathroom in our room, 51, was small - no problem with this - but the sink was a cheap plastic affair (similar to that found in an old caravan) which was stained and chipped. All four taps in the bathroom require changing, being old with worn washers. Turn them on and nothing happens until the seal releases and water comes out in an uncontrolled gush. Very difficult to gently control the temperature, scalding to cold with a couple of degrees of turn. Not good for children or the elderly when showering. Although we turned the radiator off in the room and opened the window, the room was too hot. This is because the piping supplying hot central heating water still flows uncontrolled through the pipes supplying the radiator. Food was only average. The Best Western hotel in Shaftesbury, The Chase, was of a similar standard, quite awful, and therefore it seems, a common theme throughout this chain.

Food is great. But it takes sooo long to place an order. And it takes even longer to get it delivered. Started phoning st 5pm. It’s now 7:32 and still no food. Do yourselves a favour and don’t bother. Get a curry - Indian Summer are great.

My mother was having "Care meals" from the White Heart. The abruptly stopped. One phone call two weeks ago to say they were having electric problem and couldn't deliver that night. Nothing delivered the following night. I called the next day and was told they were having supply issues and should be up and running again after the weekend. She has not had a delivery since. Their phone goes unanswered and the building is locked up. Searching on line I have found that the premises are up for sale. Appalling treatment of the elderly and vulnerable. Leaving them high and dry and out of pocket. Where do they go to get money back?

CASE-0245297 We ordered on the 23rd of Feb 2025. We drove all the way there. It said our food was ready. When we arrived it wasn't ready so we had to wait. The food was finally ready 10-15 mins later. We drove home. When we got home we realised our order was wrong. I have contacted dominos multiple times regarding this. And they have no done anything to resolve this. I have also contacted dominos multiple times to complain that they are not responding to my initial complaint. I did get a response back and they asked me to stop putting through complains as it was generating multiple complain reference numbers. This is ridiculous. Imagine you have a unhappy customer and you tell them to stop complaining because they can't be bothered to deal with the issue. We are beyond annoyed now. If they had responded in a timely manner with a resolve then everything would have been fine but it's been almost a month. This is completely unfair. Dominos if you see this- contact me. I am very frustrated with your lack of customer service.
