McDonald's in Breckland

The restaurant is great. However I met a friend there for lunch and a coffee, parked in the nearly empty car park and today I got a parking fine for £100.00 yes ONE HUNDRED POUNDS because I stayed for 106 minutes and you are, apparently, only allowed 90 minutes. I won't be going back.

On both of my recent visits I've nearly been hit by cars going the wrong way around the car park. Decent McDonalds if you make it in safely.

Superb, good as most McDonalds.

Yet again, (the last four times) ended up waiting in the car park for our meals to arrive. What a crap place.

Hot order wrong and then changed it for another wrong order. Food squashed n cold

Quick service, food was good. A female customer was swearing a lot which was pleasant.

Usually get to sent waiting bay ...almost every time when the food arrives its luke warm with cool floopy fries ...its very poor ...lack of thought..it pays to check your food order before you leave ...as this happens every week ...its also a shame they forget the napkins... on a bright er note its far superior to the branch at downham..that's the worst ever .. allow at least a 20 mins on a drive through..

Lovely staff whom helped us when I was struggling due to pain. They assisted me with my order. The only downside was when I requested no onions in my burger, they missed that. I was okay overall, just had to pick them out. Unfortunately raw onions don't agree with me. Other than that I do recommend coming back and visiting again. Thank you.

Not been here for a while.. Order food to bought to the table. Lady who bought over very polite and extremely friendly

Food was barely warm and tasteless. McDonald’s has gone downhill.

The staff are a good bunch but using the app with the driver through has ended up with me but going any more as it's too stressful to try and make it work.

It's McDonalds, not fine dining. That said, this McDonalds is better than most I've been in (all over the world). It's clean, it's fast, and the food is surprisingly slightly better than the usual mediocre. Don't get me wrong, it's not deliciously gorgeous, a Maccy Ds burger is the same the world over (with a couple exceptions), but from here I've always had it cooked fresh, and served with a smile.

I only bought myself a cheese burger. But the whole thing was rock hard. As if it had been stood a while

Being there last week, both of my boys had egg bacon muffin and both of them Being sick all day!! Vomiting 2 times!! NEVER AGAIN FROM THERE!!

Paid for food on collection point in swaffham and food was in dereham collection point 5 double cheeseburgers nearly £12 so had to pay again in swaffham not happy won't happen again.

Visit here regularly , never had a bad mcdonalds here, fast service on drive through , food always hot and well packed , everything you expect from Mcd's, staff are always friendly 👍👍👍

Standard Maccies - you know what to expect

Only go occasionally but every time has been very good. It's always clean, you don't have to wait too long for your food. They've always had what I wanted. I do love the chicken pieces - best around.

Its McDonald's noisy and crowded. Food was good and staff were excellent

Quite often food is cold here, the drive through takes forever to get through for no real reason and we usually end up getting asked to park up and wait further for the food.

Great place for a quick bite to eat and toilet break.

By far a better experience than dereham branch,staff are friendly always get serviettes food is hot and rarely any technical issues unlike dereham

Only called in for a toilet break with the wife. but had a bite to tide us over. bog standard McDonald's, flat cold lifeless burgers and fries. Coffee was passable i knew i shouldn't have eaten, my guts was grumpy for the next 100 miles. I'd rather have a KFC 🍗.

McDonald's is always a nice treat but what has happened to the size of the burgers.The big Mac is now the little Mac.I have family that live in Texas and they would not put up with what we get here in the uk. What you get does taste good though.

Fast service, and friendly staff

Had no hot chocolate or milkshakes, and we only stopped for a drink whilst on a road trip. Shame It's been happening at a few donalds lately. Another one had no burgers, Go figure

Maccy D's , you either like it or you don't. This one isn't bad

A typical McDonalds on a busy 'A' road; busy, noisy, lots of kids. Toilets rather smelly. If you want somewhere quieter and cleaner there's a much nicer roadside Costa Coffee a mile further along the A47 at Necton.

Piss poor service, always giving me the wrong order. Wait times are ridiculous and the staff just don't care. I've complained at least 10 times over the last month and it always falls on deaf ears, with no apology or attempt to remediate the situation. Terrible branch, starting to think it's time to travel to the Lynn or Dereham branches. Update: after a saga of cold food, wrong orders and an unkempt restaurant, with rats running wild, and customer service that do not care about the customers, I've given up. Not worth visiting, appalling service and customer care. Will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Shame on you!

We just had a lovely meal from there,and we meet Natasha she work in there lovely girl,very friendly and very helpful. All the stuff is brilliant include the manager we meet . We'll done keep that way guys .

Staff friendly, but the food wasn't very hot and my big mac looked like it had been put together while blindfolded. My wife's cheese burger wasn't much better. It was all a bit manic & confused, but maybe Sunday mornings are really busy? Would I return 🤔 ......no.

Again, rated on the toilets, not the actual food or drink they supply (because we all know its terrible anyway) not the best toilets, not very clean at all tbh. Said on the chart it had been cleaned every hour.. but I'm not so sure about that

Very clean and tidy considering how busy this one gets. Parking can be a little tight but it's a perfect position on our way back from Lincolnshire for a rest and refuel

Fries not freshly cooked, service bad, the young man just held out his hand for the money didn't tell me how much until I asked, burgers we had were hardly warm. Not impressed at all, gone down hill since my last visit, l will not be recommending this Swaffham to anyone.

Busy when I arrived around lunchtime. But food arrived relatively quickly the only negative was after a 5 minute drive home my coffee was luke warm

Same old,I personally don't like the system of doing more people out of job's and still increase price.

McDonald's are always handy for coffee anywhere and that's usually the reason for our visit. Coffee was ok. Didn't eat but what others were eating looked ok. I must say it was one of the cleanest we have been in

Good little McDonald's this one. Always stop here on our way to Great Yarmouth. Clean, tidy and always been great service.

We went into Macdonald's Swaffham today and was rather shocked by the shocking customer service. A young lad served us and there was no Hello, please, thank you or anything, in fact he didn't say one word. I know Macdonald's are not known for paying a decent wage but that's no justification for just dumping a customers food on the counter without saying a word. DM Norfolk

So very slow to take order then waited ages for two simple items. Don't go if your in a hurry.

We arrived here approx 11:30pm. Had to purchase food using the self serve touch screen.(this was possibly due to having limited night staff) One of my friends had cash only, so was unable to place an order. (I placed an order for) The wait time for our food was long and the aircon was on which made it quite chilly. Good amount of parking onsite and drive through also available.

Friendly guy on first window, AWFUL service from second window, girl with tattoos on her arm, had a right attitude, threw 1 frappe at me and said go park in the bay I have to change the blades to give you your second one, no straw for the first frappe, 15 minute wait and no second frappe, I go round a second time and I get no apology and she throws a second frappe at me, again no straws and by now the first frappe has completely melted. AWFUL!!!!

Rude staff and long waits at the drive thru when there is no queues. Staff too busy talking. Waited 5 minutes at the speaker just to have my order taken...

I really rate this McDonald's. They run a tight shift and the food is always hot and well presented.

Not bad. Nice little treat the tiny birds sit on your car expecting to get fed. Toilets are OK, gets busy
