The best restaurants serving Default food in Blaby East Midlands

Had a great time, Pete, I think, was the only member of staff on, The food was absolutely amazing, couldn’t go wrong will be back again!!

Hayley served us all night. They don’t normally do table service but she was so good and helpful and made an exception for us.

The chef moo was outstanding it was my daughters birthday and he went out of his way to cook a special birthday pizza which was insanely delicious top chef and above all polite curtuious what a man

We’ve visited a few times and never been that impressed but thought we would try it again. Sadly it has not improved. Our drinks order was taken reasonably quickly and drinks were served without much delay, albeit by someone who had little personality. When it came to taking our order, we were told the fish and chips were not available, which is something one of our party wanted, resulting in a last minute rethink - why were we not told of unavailable items when the menus were handed out? The server took our order without noting what we had selected - perhaps not surprising then that our sharing starter never arrived! If people can’t remember, don’t try and be clever - write it down! The food was very slow in arriving and when it was brought to the table it was ok but nothing special. The chips were lukewarm and unappealing. No one asked us how our food was. One of our party ordered an additional drink which never arrived. Such a shame that a great looking restaurant seems unable to get the basics right.

Staff were superstars, so friendly, easy to talk to.. place was busy but nothing was too much trouble, food was GORGEOUS and fresh! Best carbonara ever! Didn’t have to wait long at all, Have never been to Prezzo and will be coming back after this visit!

We all know the burgers are great at Five Guys, we visited this branch on a Thursday lunchtime. The food was great as always, however we did have a 20 minute wait as it was - 2 Guys. Maybe they need to review their lunch breaks as the place was not busy but a 20 minute wait even with fresh cooking did seem excessive. 2 more guys turned up as we were leaving so it may just have been that lunch time? So worth it if you don't mind waiting.

Visited Nemo’s for Sunday lunch today. Lovely view of the quarry and friendly staff. Food was not very good at all. Stuffing was not cooked, boiled tasteless potatoes and tasteless veg. Will not return

Good food, lovely drinks in a welcoming and clean pub. Great atmosphere, lots of activities lined up. Staff were efficient and friendly

Don’t get me wrong, pizza’s were actually nice& food overall good, staff very friendly & did their job. Two issues was that you got to order online (a faff if you have no internet, in a rush or don’t like to order on the internet or like technology etc.) wasn’t a major issue as you can also order with staff member but apparently this will stop in the near future or something. My main quibble was that we ordered TWO pizzas, ONE chips, chicken wings, onion rings and TWO drinks!!! This came to £75!!!! In this day and age when companies are doing so many deals and competition is high I felt this was taking the pee pee. The staff member said it was because we ordered ‘stuffed crust’ and that like added an extra £8 or something!! I got to Pizza Express all the time and they have an app & promo offers to give customers good deals & even without that if I ordered the same thing there, it would never have come to £75. Just leaving this review to let other unsuspecting customers know of the over priced food and hidden costs for extras, so be aware, not faulting the food or seevice btw

We went for Afternoon Vintage tea for two on a group on 2 weeks ago. The cafe was freezing. We had to keep our coats on. Service was ok but we were the only customers for quite a while. We have sampled several afternoon teas from other places and Granny Smith's is a let down. The sandwiches were plain and unexciting. The scones were ok. The cakes were very poor and cheap. No flair at all. The young lady serving us was pleasant enough although " no problem" every time she did anything does grate after a while. Course it's no problem if you're doing the job you're being paid for. Won't go back. Won't recommend.

Just had a meal deal for one i had chicken tikka masala and rice and garlic and cheese Nana eaten 4 bits of chicken and binned the rest just no taste at all and also no poppadom just the dips

Been going pizza plaza for a while now and it’s the highlight of my week. Food has only got better and better since the new owner took over. I live quite far from the shop but the delivery is always on time and the staff is so nice. Really recommend!
