The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Wales

Everything looked really good when it arrived but was extremely salty with the exception of one dish. If they can balance the seasoning better it would be a lot nicer. The venue is very nice and the staff were great.

Absolutely abysmal. Not a lot to choose from and we are well experienced in chinese buffet restaurants. This is the worst we have ever been to. The beef tastes off. Prawns we're rancid and slimey. One we will never be returning.

First time. Nice portions a bit expensive. Forgot my curry sauce and too far to go back. Bit dissapoiningt

I ordered a set time for delivery around 2pm , to be ready for 8pm. Gave the shop a call at 8:05 to ask where it was as we had given plenty of notice to prepare. Told us it is just leaving the shop as we speak. Unacceptable, they had plenty of notice to prepare our order. Not even a sorry over the phone.

AWFUL. AGAIN!! all food we had was cold.. even chips in box were cold. curry sauce was almost cold!. we only had to walk home 50yds. never again!! once was a nice chippy! such a shame!!!. next time wait for Wings to open!!

Haven’t been here but I have ordered from here, food is lovely but the delivery takes a long time, this is the second time it’s taken over two hours to come. We were told an hour ago it was on its way but called again to find out it wasn’t. Lovely Chinese but reconsider ordering if you want it asap.

Time and time again Hong Sheng are getting absolutely shocking with delivery. We live all of 5minutes away in the car from them and yet we ordered food at 7pm this evening to it not showing up at our address until 5 to 9. And this was only after my husband had called at quarter past 8 to ask where our food was and all they did was say sorry sorry when driver comes back we will send straight to you. It then looked like the actual chef turned up at our door with the food. This has to be the 4th maybe 5th time now this has happened to us. We leave it a few months and think we will give them another chance and yet nothing has improved, if anything the delivery time is getting worse! We order direct from their website and yet I feel like they don't even bother checking the food order receipts as they are coming in until its too late!!! Great disappointment - this is the last time we will be ordering from Hong Sheng. Poor poor service.

While the nation is forced to tighten it’s belt on spend, this establishment is taking full advantage, you need to spend over £20 to get a free pompadom, every other take away in Port Talbot Indian: Bombay Spice etc,, you get free pomading when you spend £9… when it arrived the chips were like cardboard and curry/spare ribs were Luke warm, the percentage of profit on food is huge to start with, this is pure greed and shouldn’t be assisted, AVOID unless you have no regard for your hard earned cash 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Denise is a real credit to the restaurant she's full of character and extremely friendly and when it came to helping me sort out my order that I'd got wrong she went above and behind it was worth messing my order up just to speak to her 👍🏻

We arrived for a birthday celebration we was on 2 separate tables. Plenty of food but not fresh and no chow main out. Waited over 15 minutes for drinks then asked what did we order. The kids did enjoy the desert area.

Had a take away Saturday night, mainly because of the delivery option. Easy to order, delivery time estimated 80 minutes plus, which wasn’t a problem. Food arrived within the hour, and it certainly didn’t disappoint, it was possibly best Chinese take away we have had in 12 months. This isn’t our usual default Chinese take away. Beef king po and beef black bean both with booked rice and both were delicious. Accompanied by prawn toast and mini spring rolls which again were delicious. Fantastic takeaway.

Chips were dry and like rubber,ribs were dry ..unedible meat on bone ..very disappointing wouldn't recommend or use again

Ordered from this place every time we were there to visit. The food is always amazing, not greasy like others take aways. My favourite, beef chow mein

Hice un pedido hoy, y después de 1 hora esperando mi comida el conductor me llamó y fue tan grosero conmigo porque no encontró mi casa, me dijo cosas como: "Estoy perdiendo el tiempo tratando de encontrar tu En casa, quiero hablar con alguien que habla inglés (él es indio y tienen fuerte acento) Llamé al restaurante y, por supuesto, les dije que no voy a pagar por la comida porque hará frío hasta hora y media. medio esperando y dijeron que no. esto es un servicio de cliente inaceptable.

Would never order from here they are stinking drop food on floor and put it back into the food smokes in kitchen while preparing orders and speak and treat customers like crap they also flick their hair around and pick their nose and just flick it every where.
