Absolutely outstanding service! Food is always hot, fresh and loads of it. On a more personal note my order got sent through from just eat twice, the rang the shop and the lady i spoke to was such a sweetheart and resolved my problem in seconds

Food was absolutely disgusting. To the point where I have had Diarrhoea and Vomiting. Would 100% not recommend going here. Utterly disgusting.

Do not order from this place. Over priced and overwhelmed with terribly cooked food. What a waste. My daughter can cook better. Over used oil that Made food stink. Rice was a mush... which was supposed to be special fried! Awful fried rice it should be called. Ok if you're pissed and don't care. But having a takeaway delivered for your family.... don't.... please don't. Horrible.

I have been a regular since Imperial Dragon opened. I have always had a great service, the owners, delivery drivers are very friendly and wonderful. They go out of their way to always make us delicious food. I've tried their soups, chow Mein's all in one boxes and the starter boxes I have loved them all. I will always recommend to everyone. If you buy directly it is easier.

Ordered from this place lastnight and spent £40.00 in total. The food was delivered speedy that was great but the quality was disappointing ..my partner said the lemon chicken was very bland and was overcooked so the batter and chicken were chewy not crispy. The same happened with my salt and chilli chicken it was just pure salt I could feel my organ shrivelling up and I went through 2 glasses of water for not even a quarter of the main before I started to feel sick and had to bin it. The noodles were bland aswell as the “egg fried rice” which seemed to be missing the egg. However, the mushrooms were nice and the spring rolls were good. The chicken balls were tasty aswell as the sweet and sour sauce and I also had the curry sauce. I wouldn’t eat here again as my main put me off as I could only eat the sides. I was really disappointed that my £40 was not well spent. I won’t be ordering from this restaurant again unfortunately.

The driver didn't know were to go he couldn't understand me and told me to ring shop that did not answer me 😡 asked for refund and was to by just eat that they won't give me refund 🤬🤬 how can u do that to someone when it was you to blame i will b taking this further

Well, the food at this establishment is rather lovely. But it really is “Denise” their call handler that is the true diamond. She single handedly saved the day with her decent character and kind hearted manner. What a superb ambassador for Imperial Dragon. We only reordered for a second time tonight due to her incredibly decent manner under pressure. Fair play. The just eats driver delivered to the wrong address. It is the people that accepted food they didn’t pay for that are at fault. Despicable! Shame be upon you. Surely one knows if they paid for and ordered 73 pounds worth of food! But, Imperial Dragon wanted to rectify the mistake. Quickly. Denise being on the front lines of it all was fabulous. And even the just Eats Co. Paid our money back within moments. One literally couldn’t ask for better from either organisations really. The driver simply made and error. It does happen and sometimes it can not be helped. It truly is the people that accepted the food that are appalling. Well done Denise! Your boss should give you a raise. We reordered simply because of your manner!!! Update: Without being asked, Imperial Dragon were fabulous. The food was outstanding and the effort they made to rectify the error made tonight was exceptional. Thank you Imperial Dragon. Thank you Just Eats. What a pleasant surprise from both of you.

Whilst the delivery chap was very friendly and it arrived on time, we spent £50 and our entire meal was awful. Then I found a long black hair inside one of the spring rolls. Save your money. Do not recommend.

First time order tonight, takeaway roast duck chow mein, food was hot, however very little meat & noodle overload. The meal was extremely salty & greasy so I couldn't eat it. I wouldn't order from here again!! Very poor.

Ordered from here tonight. I ordered for myself and my partner. The order was made up of Chicken Chinese Style, 2 standard egg fried rices, crispy wontons with peking sauce, hoisin duck rolls and chicken chow mein. The order turned up promptly and hot which is a good sign. The portion sizes were generous and all looked good when opening the dishes up. Usually I'm very hesitant to order from any other chinese takeaways aside from my usual as they don't do the chicken chinese style the way i like it and unfortunately this one has fallen into that lane for me. The sauce is lovely, spot on how I think it should be but the chicken pieces are very strange. They're extremely soft and some pieces felt like a lump of mucus/snot in my mouth which was wholely unpleasant. The pieces that were a bit more firm were good and the flavour was nice but I believe they fry the chicken in a coating before dousing it in the sauce which is only going to lead to a soggy fried coating. Unfortunately I couldn't eat the whole thing and had to leave it due to the texture. The egg fried rice was very bland, just didn't really taste of anything aside from wok hay which isn't great. Other restaurants' fried rice usually has a nice savoury flavour and whilst this one smelt how I'd expect it to and looked lovely it just tasted of nothing really. I would of been able to deal with this if the chicken dish was up to scratch because i usually mix the rice with the sauce and chicken but wasn't possible this time due to my issues with the chicken. My partner had the hoisin duck rolls and he was expecting duck spring rolls and instead got breaded deep fried duck rolls. He said the inside was so sweet and overall just not anything he expected. In his own words 'Not bad but definitely not what i wanted'. He also had the chicken chow mein and found it to be extremely wet and lacking in chicken but loaded with beansprouts. Honestly overall a disappointing experience since I really wanted to like this one. I'm sure some people will love the food but unfortunately in our case it just wasn't it.

Really nice Chinese and I’m fussy, it came within half hour and it tasted amazing, it arrived hot, I only give 4 stars because there is always room for improvement

Had a takeaway from here last night for the first time to try somewhere new and wish I hadn’t bothered. When I ordered it stated delivery would be by 7pm and received a text to say it was on its way. It didn’t arrive so when I chased this up was told it was delayed until 7:30 but it actually didn’t turn up until 7:50!!!! I put a request in for a refund of some money due to this as this was declined. When the food finally arrived I couldn’t believe how greasy to food was. The meat was all dry and over cooked. We ordered a starter platter and the prawn toast and spring rolls tasted stale and hard, the chicken wings were tiny and had no meat and the seaweed was burnt. I can’t believe they let the food leave the restaurant like that it’s disgusting. I will definitely not be ordering from this Chinese again. What a waste of money!!!

One of the worst places to order a takeaway from! Took over an hour to get delivered so had to cancel and when I phoned to cancel the man on the phone started shouting at me saying to never order from there again and I had wasted there time then hung up on me!

first time ordering from this chinese the food was very dissapointing. ribs had no meat, chow mein was very dry and beef was dry and tasteless, and the chips were indescribable and tasted like oven chips. Everything was very uncatisfactory. Would 100% not be ordering from here again.

Haven't used this place for a long time due to covid ect.. had special chow mein, special curry, spare ribs, king prawn balls,pancake rolls, to me special chow mein is a mix of noodles and a mix of meats and a few prawns ..this was plain noodles with a few bits of meat on top..special curry had no prawns .king prawn balls batter so thick spoilt the taste, spare ribs well undercooked, just about edible...this place used to be tidy ..I guess the covid break has something to do with the quality of the food and style of cooking and this is another casualty... perhaps it will recover to its former status who knows....

Joke of a place nearly 2 hours wait and they will not answer the phone , so ended up with no food and got my money back … terrible service wouldn’t recommend

This place is absolutely filthy, can only order online and you can see the reason for that if you visit the place. Should be shut down and not allowed to sell food.

Food came late....prawn toast and pancake rolls was cold and soggy. The Singapore chawmein had no taste was very bland. defiantly would not order from this place again.

Took nearly an hour to come, ON TOP of the 2 hours it took to come anyway, order left the restaurant over an hour before I received it (I live a 2 minute drive away). Food came, greasy, burnt, tasteless and freezing cold. In all fairness the gentleman on the phone was lovely however I would 100% NEVER order from here again, if you like your food to taste and feel like food

Last week we ordered a takeaway, service was good and quick food was absolutely dire. I rang them and explained, I spoke to a lovely guy, Mark, who said he would speak to manager and ring me back. He was true to his word and told me we could re order any time and it would be taken off what we had paid. I rang tonight and asked to speak to mark and we did a different order which came on time and was very nice. Mark is an absolute credit to this takeaway and I give him 5*

Ordered takeaway 5.30pm for delivery at 8pm, turned up at 9.50pm nearly two hours late. Food was warm not hot. Curry had powdered lumps in, chips werent too bad. All I can say that the curry tasted awful. Tangy, like a vinegar taste Paid £17 with delivery. Will never ever buy again or recommend

Ordered through just eat who were not happy with my bad experience and requested I write this review on this business. My food arrived 45 minutes late cold bland and awful tasted like cardboard. When I rang this place spoke with a verbally aggressive chinese woman To say I was disappointed is an understatement. This "Friendly chinese" does not even deserve a 1* Don't order food here not recommended at all

I ordered using an NHS discount at 17:33 through just eat. I was given a delivery time of 20:15. At 20:20 I received an email from just eat saying my order was cancelled with no other explanation. No one had tried to phone me about my order. I was unable to contact the restaurant using their phone number - instead going to answerphone.I tried to leave a negative review of the restaurant on just eat but this seemed to be blocked (I even discussed this with the Just Eat help chat).

We ordered a takeaway at 1 720 hrs via justeat and we're told on booking that our world be over 2 hrs, which was fine, we weren't in any hurry. The estimated time then changed to 1955, which was a little inconvenient, but not the end of the world. At 2005 we received a message from justeat that the order had been cancelled and the restaurant was closed.I appreciate that during this difficult time things can be a little unpredictable, but if the restaurant was closed why did my order go through. They had my order for 3 hrs before cancelling it.I read a similar review of this restaurant last week but decided to give it the benefit of the doubt, but I will not be doing so again

Placed our order at 6pm and eta was about 8ish. Just had a text at 8:35pm to say the order has been cancelled. Great. Thank you. No prior notice. I appreciate what's going on but if you cannot cope with the demand then do no not open and take orders. I'm sat here watching Britain's got talent starving. If I could leave 0 stars I would. If they read this I hope that can take away from that it is not acceptable to take an order then cancel 2 and a half hours later when they shouldn't be taking orders to start with. They aren't showing as open on just eat either. Upon checking other reviews it appears they are notorious for taking orders then either cancelling or just not delivering the order, forcing you to cancel the order and get a refund. Shocking service. Would 100% not recommend.

Absolutely disgusting attitude over the phone ordered from just eat the wait time was 2 hours no problem but I also sent them a message asking if it was going to be longer to let me know instead of just accepting my order and making me wait well 2 hrs come and went and still no food rang takeaway to be told it would be another hour on top of the 2 iv waited swearing and shouting down the phone to me safe to say I won’t be ordering there again !!

Absolutely shocking experience- order through Just Eat at 6 pm and 2 and half hours later, still waiting for food. Calling phone number provided, it’s diverted to a mobile, left a message and still no response. Should NOT be taking orders through Just Eat if they can’t deliver what they are advertising!!!!!

Shamefull have allway had Chinese food for here for many years never complained this tho is an undefstament curry is horrible like tar and my normaly dish well I have never tasted any thing so vile will not be eating for here again verry poor and a waste of money

Ordered online, however, we couldn’t get a delivery as it kept telling us to “add to our order” as if we hadn’t spent enough already. The place is a 17 minutes drive away yet we have to spend £40 worth of food to have it delivered. I’m sorry but that is not all it’s worked up to be. It’s not on and just too much money to be spending on delivery charges.

Friendly always was the dependable take away with excellent food and service but now all of that has changed. We had a meal last night that was only fit for the bin. Firstly they delivered the wrong food but when they finally provided the correct food it was almost inedible. The Singapore Vegetable Vermicelli, always a firm favourite, had no vegetables and equally no taste. The mushroom curry was watery and tasteless - try to image mushrooms with a weak curry sauce poured over them. The only one who got a good meal was our food bin. Really disappointed in the food such that will never use this place again.

Picked this chinese for a takeaway after reading previous reviews and based on high hygiene rating. Feel very disappointed, chicken was in small chopped cubes, pork in slices but very very chewy and tough. Will go back to using Shanghai chef much much better quality.

Best Chinese I've had for a while knocks spots off the local takeaways ,Friendly staff and very good prices lovely tasty food .We have been using the same Chinese for the past 20 years this is definitely going to be our new 1st choice .

We won't be using this Take Away again. The chicken chop suey and Special chop suey were both tasteless. The beef in the Beef in black bean sauce was tough.

The lady is so lovely here, always smiles and is very pleasant. Deserve a 5 star review for that alone. Friendly is exactly the right name for this place 😃😃😃👍👍👍
