Today’s evening, food was ok, desserts tasty. Atmosphere could be better. Very nice girl (bar staff) and very professional floor staff. I had a nice time here. One minus no chocolate fountain.

Some of the staff look fed up, but the food was hot and refreshed regularly, a little more attention to the mess inconsiderate people and kids make would be good s the ice cream machine was

Not amazing, limited options for vegetarians and half of the stations were closed, or empty. Food wasn’t that fresh in all honesty. Found pork in the veg noodles sadly. Not worth the £21.99 and £3.60 for a drink. The bar staff member was very rude. We waited at the bar without her acknowledging us, and when I asked for a bottomless drink, she acted like it was the greatest inconvenience to her. Along with my friend’s experience - she held her hand up to him signalling him to wait, unprofessional to say the least.

Food was nice, staff were really rude, speaking to us as though we were stupid. Do not waste your time here, plenty of other places to go to

Fantastic evening bar is great, eat as much steak as you like. Cooked fresh. Edit* new management, food isn't the same, sections been removed, had to bassicly demand more lamb for the evening bar even though they had tubs full on the fridge, acting like none was available even though it was early evening, atmosphere not great anymore, deserts wear really bad and no chocolate fountain, bought some pitcher for 22 quid and bassicly had a whole freezer of ice, really not good. Been coming here nearly every other week for years as a family, will find else where now.

Me and my family went to this buffet at the end of our holiday all the food was delicious and had a lot of variety and even an entire section to pudding but unfortunately the chocolate fountain was not there the staff were very nice and the decor looked very fancy would definitely recommend and it's worth all the money

Just visited Nines Global Buffet Swansea all I can say to everyone is honestly AVOID AT ALL COST! Went up to get a plate of food all of our drinks were moved from the table including a purse and our coats- when we asked where all of our belongings had gone we were told “the man has taken them” when asking who is this man we were told he’s finished? They misteriously found our belongings behind the reception? When we looked in the purse all of the contents including all the cash that was inside!! The manager on duty refused to help us, was aggressive screaming at us all out of the restaurant- when going back in to give our details all the staff were smirking and acting so dodgy- safe to say it was my first & LAST time I will ever enter such a disgusting vile place in my whole life- eaten 1 chip which was stone hard and I wouldn’t let my dog eat here- be very very wary- We have reported it to the police and are currently sat outside waiting for them EDIT (UPDATE) - staff member had stolen the contents of the purse and was caught on CCTV. She was dismissed from her job and had files charged. The owner of the buisness was then VERY apologetic after wales online made a story on the case which gave them negative review. STAY AWAY

Here to celebrate birthday. My nephew is a fussyeater. However, there was lots on offer, and he thought he enjoyed the cheese and tomato pizza! Fantastic choice, food was amazing, and setting was lovely. We will most definitely return soon. Many thanks.

Buffets are not really my thing as I cringe at the binge but this is a well run place and the food quality and range is good. I was particularly impressed with how they showed each dishes ingredients for special dietary requirements.

I was very excited to go to this food place , on the website showedloads of different country foods like Italian and Spanish another foods that hash browns and ribs and other stuff like that , but most of it was a Chinese food and Indian food the chips were cold , and all the other food I tried wasn't a restaurant standard and tasted like food from the supermarket the desserts were alright the tiramisu was very strong but the other things tasted alright also the sweet and sour sauce is very very nice , the staff are very very nice I just seemed pretty clean in there , they had a ice cream machine which was very very cool , and you can refill drinks many times for free its ok there but don't trust the website

With So many tasty dishes to choose from, this place gives you good value for your money. it was quite busy at lunchtime on bank holiday Monday; the food is fresh hot and tasty and I had a great treat with my family. Look forward to dining here again

Been down this evening with the other half, Not great start toilets all flooded staff lovely on arrival though. Food well the food was horrendous putting it generously there, just scraps barely warm rice all over cooked not much choice as advertised. Won’t be returning again has gone down hill loads waste of £50/£60 10/10 for the fizzy pop 👍

Visited here in the day and was disappointed. We both had the bottomless drinks and I had lemonade and my partner had pepsi max, both had been watered down and were flat. Very little choice on offer for 14 pound. The chicken tikka masala didn't even taste like the curry. Literally no sauce. Very poor and food was luke warm.

I really like the food here, it's worth the price to get so many different things and I love these short ribs, they are very tender. I am very satisfied with the service and the staff is very friendly. I will come back again

The worst beef in black bean I have ever eaten, it was bland and overly chewy, the Chinese chicken curry was like water, nothing had any flavour whatsoever, except a weird prawny aftertaste. The deserts were disgusting 🤢

I recently visited this restaurant expecting a variety of international cuisines as advertised, but was disappointed to find that the selection was primarily Chinese food. While they did offer some chicken nuggets and chips, the diversity of dishes was lacking. Additionally, the food wasn't very hot, which was quite disappointing. If you enjoy Chinese cuisine, you might still find it worthwhile, but for those looking for a true world cuisine experience, this place might fall short of expectations.

All the different rices were crunchy and hard as they had obviously been sat a while and weren't getting shifted about regularly. As we went at lunch time, there wasn't much food on offer. Duck pancakes had ran out, food was everywhere like spilled all on counters and over serving spoons so not very clean and tidy, hardly any dessert choice, chicken tikka masala tasted disgusting and the chicken had a weird taste. We had a bad belly after it. Will not be returning.

Went last night and thought everything was good but boy oh boy was I wrong. My stomach was like a washing machine on spin cycle all night and the stuff that has come out of both ends is unbelievable. Just don't do it to yourself.

What was once a great and lovely place to go out has unfortunately gone downhill. Paid full price for eating at dinner time, but with less selection than the last time I visited. All the food was either watery and oily, or it was as dry as the Sahara. The dessert choices were nice, pulling it up from 1 star. But at £115 for 5 people, I expected a lot more. Visited again today (27 Feb 2023) - still overpriced, Free birthday meal wasn't given because you need 5 paying adults to get it. Student discounts are offered on the website, but in the restaurant I was told there are no student discounts. This place isn't worth it. Reduced rating down to 1 star. 30 May 2024 - improved since the last visit. Food was enjoyable and atmosphere was OK.

Bank holiday weekend night out, lovely buffet food with lovely service. A staff I think she’s the buffet runner used her limited English to help us up to explain the vegetarian options. very appreciated it, my two kids love the pink popcorns and ice cream………. I will said is nice family place to eat out.

Nines Global Buffet Swansea absolutely outrageous customer service!! Just phoned the restaurant as I’ve undergone a gastric sleeve so can barely eat anything. Totally understand adult and child pricing is different as an adult would eat more however I refuse to pay £25 and end up eating 3 mouthfuls of food. I explained the situation and asked the lady if I would be able to pay for a child’s plate as I’d barely be able to finish one let alone go up for more and she told me this wasn’t an option. She then proceeded to imply that I was trying to scam them by paying for less and eating more. I said to her I was happy to bring a piece of paper signed by my surgeon for piece of mind to which she replied “if you can’t eat much then you will have to come in and eat nothing at all, only pay for the one adult who’s coming with you”. Seeing as I made it very clear at the beginning of the call the enquiry was regarding a birthday reservation I think this is totally laughable. It’s unfortunate that some places just cannot let go of that extra bit of money for food that’s going to be thrown straight in the bin anyway. I did make it obvious that this was really disappointing and she couldn’t have cared less if she tried. Only one thing they could’ve taken from this was to be more accommodating to customers with medical conditions instead of robbing people blind!! I accept that is their policy but the way she spoke to me was disgraceful especially telling me that if I can’t manage an adult plate then to not order anything at all is crazy!! As if I’d sit there and watch Liv eat all by herself for her birthday???!! Never been to Nines before and will definitely be staying that way after today’s experience.

It's exactly as the website describes, a lot of choice for all different tastes. Drinks from the bar are over priced compared to other places.

This place has really gone downhill food absolutely shocking sitting there for hours not much selection anymore even on a Saturday where I payed over £80 for me and my daughter with drinks and hardly ate anything nowhere near close to what I payed very disappointed won't be returning 😢

This restaurant has been here for such a long time, it's become a staple for us as a great buffet. We have been celebrating here most birthdays and outings and have always been told they Seperate oils between different foods. However, we've been told recently that now, everything is cooked in the same oil. Especially when asked about pork and others. They said everything is mixed. So no longer vegetarian, nor halal or kosher. Quite upsetting, and seems like new management has no interest in changing also. Will miss the restaurant as its quite a variety there.

Hot food was actually cold, the rice's , the curries , the potatoes , onion rings , everything my family had was cold. The plates are usually warm but even they were cold . The only nice thing there was the ice cream . Been there a few times in the past and was always nice and warm food , will not be going back

So first of all, its £28 which is obseen. I got an allergy of dairy and they checked me over with a blood test after i collapsed to the ground and suffered a attack to my left hammy. Food was mid and staff were rude. But i saw Matty Grimes and his bird there so boosts the star up from 1 to 3

Horrible experience, I came to collect my order for TooGoodToGo, lady was ignorant and all over the place time frame for collection was 9.00-9.10pm I had to wait till 9.31pm. Before I could collect and the lady said I cannot collect because I didn’t swipe my order after she told me not to when I came at 8:58pm, me and also 5 other groups of customers had this same issues and we were arguing back and forth for over 5 minutes just to collect our food, the lady even tried using my phone to pay for additional meals when I already payed for what I wanted. Not recommended very disappointed.

Very expensive for what it is, don't get me wrong the food was nice, staff are very hard working, but for the price I would have expected more option, we went in the evening at 19.30, luckily we had booked in advance as when we arrived there was an hour and a half wait for those who hadn't. Again, very little to offer food wise, no variety, 2 different types of noodles, 2 different types of rice and a few different selections of chicken is all they had to offer, would have been better off and far cheaper to order a Chinese takeaway.

Very expensive, the food selection is poor. There was very little in the ban Marie's and what there was, was poor quality. Give this place a miss is the best advice I could give.

If you're on a budget? I don't know. It's £22 a person, but you can eat as much as you like, so for big eaters this is a plus. However, the food quality is "meh" - cheapest cakes, packet mix sauces for curries. It's not great. There's a grill order system. But you can only get 2 prawns at a time, or maybe a crab claw and a slither of fish. The sushi is made of crab sticks and pieces of brightly coloured processed rubbish. To be fair, you could do better at home even if you think can't cook. Never again.

We went on a Saturday lunch time and after our visit won’t be returning. Hardly anything available, despite requests from myself and multiple people to replenish. Desserts had a very limited selection. For 6 of us (4 under the age of 10) with drinks (non alcoholic) cost almost £100. Definitely not worth it. Shame it use to be brilliant here with a selection available for all tastes.

Saturday lunch. Claimed to be a "Global" Buffet. Nothing global about it. Cheap bland Chinese with a small selection of Indian items and cheap pizza. The world of food exists outside of East Asia. At nearly £30 for an adult and child before drinks this was massively disappointing. I have done a number of these sort of establishments over the years and this is the worst by far. Poor choices and very poor quality. Definition of phoning it in! Plenty of much better options in the vicinity don't reward this place's lack of effort with your money.

Went Sunday lunch time. Selection of food was Chinese or Indian despite Global in their name. Food was only hot when a tray was replaced. The dessert was horrible. Paid £16.99 per head. Kids ate chicken nuts and chips cold. Never getting that money back

We went for lunch, its very clean. Food is really really tasty but wasn't that warm when we went which was sad. They had a lovely mushroom dish which was amazing. Normal global buffet style feeding factory layout with generic piano loop playing for music. Overall it's OK but not spectacular.

This was wicked. Food quality no matter what dish you had was exceptional. All different meats and fish cooked to perfection and cuts of each meat surpurb. I've not eaten food like this for decades. I wish I lived locally. Price of food good value, wasn't turned away even though close to closing, and still everything on offer and everything I tried was wonderful. Staff great and not intrusive. Toilets clean and fresh. Not one fault I can find here.

Terrible ! Went here for lunch when visiting Swansea would not recommend! Global buffet ? 2 pizza and a mash up of some Chinese and Indian dishes couldn’t really tell the difference between some dishes all tasted the same ! And dishes didn’t get replenished after 2pm as they shut at 3pm ! Kids liked the idea of an ice cream machine put only topping was a cola bottle and staff told them off for using the machine all in all very bad experience and a waste of £50 !!

It's an all you can eat! It's not going to be amazing but for the price you pay I think the food is decent. It cost a few extra £££ for the evening but you get a bigger selection of food.

Lunch time menu has been made much smaller with only limited items. Only one section was opened and 2 pizza options. They have only changed this over past few weeks and is disappointing as only had a few items to choose from. Won’t be returning here.

Overpriced greasy food Dry desserts Presentation was poor. There was food spilled on the floor I had to ask for it to be cleaned to prevent any accidents. My grandsons who were under 15 charged full price because of their height. Just a very unpleasant experience. Will never return there again.

Great value and delicious. The chocolate fountain was ace.. Real chocolate. Plus they collect your plates as soon as your finished with one so there is space on the table to go up again.

Last time I came here I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, but the most recent was quite the opposite. Service was particularly slow, waited nearly 45 minutes for our food to arrive and the person serving us didn't seem very welcoming. Seemed like they wanted to go home as soon as possible. The seats were also not very comfortable. If it wasn't for the food being good, then this would've been a much worse review. I'm not sure if the management has changed since the last time I came here but overall the experience was decreased quite substantially.

Based on 5 visits this year. Always a good hot fresh food selection and the tepanyaki has plenty of choice. My favourite is the beef in black bean sauce. The dumplings and deserts are fresh and plentiful. Happy service and clean tables. Thanks 😊

We asked what was available for a member of our group that doesn't eat meat and we were told that there was noodles ,rice green beans and potatoes. Happy Days .

The food options were pretty limited and fairly generic. Worth it if you want to either taste a bit of everything or shovel it in. £90 for 4 of us plus drinks

Used the too good to go app collaboration to reduce food waste before closing. Was greeted nicely when entering, and even though the food was the last available servings, was still tasty and good value.

All you can eat buffets are always a bit of a gamble. There's nothing particularly special about nines beyond the price (£75 for four people with 3 drinks). Unless you're a body builder bulking on protein, or someone hoping to 'game the system' by eating anything that's not nailed down, there's very little value here.

Our favourite place to eat in Swansea. Great food and service, nice relaxed atmosphere, perfect for kids/families. Teppanyaki food is amazing especially when cooked by the chinese chefs. We always come back here with pleasure. Thank you so much!

Firstly food here is exceptional, it's a buffet but there's a section where you can choose fresh food to be cooked Infront of you, secondly the waiting staff are very polite, unfortunately the table across from us left a huge mess but they cleaned it so quickly and without complaint I wish I got the servers name but like I say great food and we didn't feel rushed, good atmosphere and very clean

I went with my children, my 13-year-old son pays an adult fee for his height, so I paid 57.97 for the 3, the food was cold, there was no variety of food, the broccoli tasted bitter, the ice cream machine was broken, so I decided to go to the dessert part that there was no variety, no cream was available, I have chosen some desserts that in the information said they were peach, when I took it to my mouth it was the most horrible feeling, it tasted bitter and old, then I removed it and realised that it had mould!, so after this I will never come back, because between the tickets and 2 drinks I could have eaten quality somewhere else!

A bit sad but this place is absolutely shocking in 2023 - used to be great years ago. We got charged about £22 per person on a Saturday evening and the selection of food was short to say the least, most deserts gone… We brought this to the management attention but they didn’t seem to care the slightest. Not worth it. What a shame.
