Chips were dry and like rubber,ribs were dry ..unedible meat on bone ..very disappointing wouldn't recommend or use again

Really nice food. I ordered a tray of chow main chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce. Verdict Chicken balls were big and crispy. Chow main was full of flavour and not salty Sauce was runny and not too sweet or salty. I give 10/10 for the food quality and taste. Staff were polite and friendly. The shop does not have a step for access for disabled should be ok, apart from door is not automatic but I’m sure staff will open it if needed. I will be ordering food from here again.

Took over an hour to arrive, most of it was cold and bland, part of the order missing, rang up and was told they would deliver the missing food in "more than one hour" as they were busy!! Told them that's not good enough was then told I could drive up to get a refund!! Popadoms were damp and found a hair on them. Fair to say it was awful and I wont be returning. What a waste of money

This place is no longer open. It has been closed for about 2 or more years. Next best Chinese are Kungfu in same street or Wok u like which is located the other end of tow

Gran diferencia en sun hacer ya la Navidad, el chef ha ido viajando por lo tanto la comida no es tan bonito, ya no hacer salsa de alubias negras mi favorito. Lo que solía ser nuestro favorito chino, visitamos al menos una vez a la quincena, iremos a otro sitio

I don't know what this place is serving but it's like any other Chinese food I've ever eaten took it straight back and had my money back only plus was they didn't quibble !! Only went as Kims was having a refit !!chow mien had what looked like bisto gravy on the top !! Yuk yuk yuk 😝

Have been using the sun do for 40 years and I have always championed it.i have even previously given a glowing review of this place but what the heck has happened there. All of a sudden delivery takes forever and the quality of the food is abysmal just binned most of it and feel gutted won't be going back

Will never order from this chinese again 1st time we ordered all our food had tipped in the bag so ran to complain and they just wasnt bothered. So we gave them the benefit of the doubt 2nd time we ordered they told us it will be deliveeed with the hour. 1 hr and 30 mins later still no food rang them they told me they are busy and it will be 30 mins so cancelled. Service is appalling

This is my favourite chinese takeaway, they do larger portions of curry if asked, they have no problem with us asking for dishes without onions, the black bean sauce is to die for! Nowhere even compares!

Fair play when I have a Chinese I love a poppadom or two to go with it, and sun do have absolutely nailed the poppadom making. The Chinese itself is actually really nice, the gravy is out of this world. By far the best gravy I've had from a Chinese. The sweet and sour sauce is a nice pick also. Would defo recommend the chicken fried rice, and also mini spring rolls.

have been having food from here for 40 years.at some point for whatever reason over the years I have tried most other take aways and to be perfectly honest nowhere else comes close. if you like dishes packed with flavour and full of succulent meat this place ticks all the boxes the roast duck for example is a full breast I know other places give free coke etc but for me it's all about the food.another great thing is the quick delivery it's on a par with an ambulance

eventhough this is the only takeaway that dont give you anything FREE with your order,i still luv sundo.the portion sizes havent changed since the 70's but when sundo is NICE its REALLY NICE

One of the worst chinese takeaways I have ever had, not worth the money I paid, thought I would try my normal crispy beef fried rice, had to throw the lot in the bin

I remember the night the Sun Do Chinese Takeaway opened. Pancake roll if I remember correctly. It's the mid 70s, I must have had 100s of take aways from there over the years. Not one of the meals, have ever been under par. The Menu as changed very little in that time, and rightly so. There are cheaper and bigger portion Takeaways in the Ebbw Vale, but not one has good. It's standard has never dropped, and the food always first class. So keep up the work and service you have always provided.

Sun do has, maybe been the best about for nearly 35 years now, it's not the cheapest so maybe that's why the food has retained its quality & taste, from the days we used to have chips curry & some chicken balls after the Monday night lib disco, to the weekend in with the family having a mix from the menu, sundo has never failed us, keep up the good work,

As this is on my way home I have been tempted 3 times to try their food,and wished I had not been so lazy.
