I’ve been coming here for over 30 years since I was in my teens and for me it’s still the best in the borough, the food is head and shoulders above the hundreds of others about, really nice people, no chit chat but welcoming and orders are never missing anything, Id’ve given it 5 stars if they delivered but they never have and I assume never will but superb food

Not a bad Chinese. Food served in foil trays which is rare now as everything served in plastic ones. Don't deliver pick up only.

Food Is Great And Ok Here: But I'd Much Much Rather Prefer 🙂 The Wongs 34 Bailey Street Across The Street Because Of There Absolutely Outstanding Mouth Watering Melting Exquisite Curry Sauce That Is Just Like Nothing Nobody Has Ever Tried In There Lives Before And I've Been Eating There Curry Sauce For Three Years Now And If You Haven't Ordered Any Then You haven't Lived Before Ever In Your Life Go Order Some Now And You'll Understand Just How Great It Is Trust Me The Curry Sauce Over There Is Worth It.

I love this place, they are the best Chinese in Blaenau Gwent. The only downfall is they don't deliver, but I still wouldn't go anywhere else.

Visited last month with kids during daytime and food was fantastic and freshly cooked upon order ,quick and polite service ..Will visit again

Had take away here a few times, before choosing to change for a better one. Below average chicken chow-main. The special chow-main were dry and overcooked, not much flavour either

They used to be really good until they changed chef's and now they are terrible which is a shame. Now I go to New Inn which is amazing.

This place used to be the best Chinese takeaway by sometime last year it all changed. We did try it a few times but was consistently bland. Never mind.

I've travelled miles previously to get food from here, but at some point in summer 2017 they changed their chef. Now the rice and the chow mein is totally bland and tasteless, I can make tastier fried rice myself! The curry sauce is now very bland too, however the chicken balls remain the best quality in the area, and ive tried them all, especially recently with Golden Palace falling way short. I can only hope they get rid of the new chef

Whenever we fancy a Chinese we always have great food from the Golden Palace. We have tried other takeaways in the area but the Golden Palace stands out. We have never had a bad meal from here and recommend it to anyone...

Really greasy food and staff aint the best

Couldn't get a simple order correct spoilt the food won't go back.

Usually have a takeaway at least once a month, staff polite and friendly, order is always spot on and usually arrives before the specified time and always hot our go to takeaway.

It's not a restaurant, it's a takeaway. I've been coming here for years, particularly when I worked in the area. A colleague and I used to have lunch from the Golden Palace regularly on a Friday... the most delicious food. I no longer work in the area so I can't visit as regularly as I'd like to but sometimes I make the effort and it's so worth it - best Chinese food ever. I hope this takeaway stays forever...

Frozen chicken balls every one was the same size shape ect not nice atall

The Palace is the best takeway Chinese in Brynmawr by far. Tried all the others they are OK but do not get near this one. Top of the shop there is barbuced spare ribs oh yes. Only problem is it does not open on a Monday except for Bank Holiday, my problem not theirs. I know us locals know the quality is first class. BA & Fletch.

This has always been our "family" Chinese and whilst the ownership has changed over the years the quality has always remained the same. Nice, freshly cooked food and always tasty.

Been going here for years and the food is Always excellent , great takeaway aways fresh and even though it is very busy is normally ready pretty quickly , if you phone your order through it will be ready in 10 to 15 minutes
