Vile!!!! as a diabetic I only get to have a Chinese on my birthday as a blowout Crispy shredded beef nothing short of tasteless ribs as tough as old boots and never known a Chinese that doesn't even at least throw in a bag of prawn crackers as a freebie on a large order WHY WOULD ANYONE ORDER FROM HERE A 2ND TIME???? what a shambolic once a year treat.... An edit to this review just had a nibble of the cardboard box our meal was delivered in... Much tastier than the shredded crispy beef

Waited over an hour for food and when it came it was cold . Had to put everything in microwave!!! Rang to complain and will be coming back with 10 pounds refund 🤞

Absolutely disgusting 🤢 food took ages to come, curry sauce was dry, chips stale and tasted like they come from a microwave, rice undercooked! Called up to say and got told that apparently that’s how curry sauce is meant to be and that’s what they do with the chips and if I don’t want it take it down there and give it back, bare in mind paid for delivery and have a baby so deffo gonna go down at 10 pm not fit for the rats living in their bins

Ordered chicken balls, received prawn balls then when I returned was asked why I didn’t bring them back…. Because they went in the bin! All items in general very bland and lacking flavour. Lucky nobody in the house has a shellfish allergy!!!

I ordered for the first time on Saturday and I'll definitely be ordering again!! It was warm when it arrived and the food was amazing, I was so full when I finished but still managed to eat every last bit! My order was said to take around 1 hour and 30 minutes to arrive but it only took 1 hour which I was pleasantly surprised to😊

Don't waste your money, the food was disgusting I would never buy from there again and the guy was rude on the phone

Ordered a delivery which was a task in itself as the customer service and communication skills of the young lad on the phone were not great. Order arrives an hour later and the order was not correct. In ringing to ask for this to be rearranged I’m told we will have to wait another 45 minutes to have a replacement. I ask for a full replacement as half the food would be stone cold by the time the next delivery comes. Delivery comes and is half of what we expect to be replaced. Whole order sent back with the delivery driver and manage to speak with the owner. She tells me she won’t speak on the phone but will come to the door. She asks for the food to be returned, explained it’s gone with delivery driver. She gives us a refund and asks if we want the orders returned for no charge so that we have food. By now two hours have passed since ordering and a significant time from the first delivery so I kindly refuse to accept this food back as it will be cold now. Our order was mainly chicken. Left hungry and very disappointed. This business definitely need to up their customer service skills and get orders right!

Very very disappointed. opened the packaging - chicken rice looked and smelled burnt; if it’s brown rice, the customer should get the choice if that’s what they want; beef and mushrooms were disgusting; beef is like leather! Prawn toast was massively over cooked. Chicken balls also over cooked, but don’t know how the chips and curry sauce were. I will not order from here again and would not recommend either!

I've been here for the first time recently. I walked in off the street and placed an order for chow mien. The order arrived promptly and was hot. I am used to larger portions I must admit but will go again and just order more!! There was a notice on a post-it note on the counter saying 'cash only'

So we only ordered from this place for the first time tonight as our usual Chinese was closed. After phoning our order through we was told its upto a 30 minute wait as its Saturday and they was busy which we was fine with. After 50 minutes we phoned to see where our food was to which we was told its going to be another 20 to 30 minutes so we got abit annoyed with this, when the food finally arrived there was food missing from our order. We phoned up to say and all we got back was oh well. The food was absolutely disgusting, the driest chips I've ever had in my life, the fried rice was a case of 1 lump or 2, the chicken chow mean was nice to be fair but the barbecue sauce was inedible, it would be easier to lay bricks with this stuff than eat it and tasted disgusting. If this place offered me a free meal I would decline even if they paid me. Without a doubt the worst Chinese take away I've ever had in my life, tasteless, over priced and never again will I order from this place, worst Chinese in Tredegar.

Food has really gone downhill in the last year here. We have ordered from this take away for over 20 years but really notice the changes to the menu recipes have changed for the worst dishes don't taste the same and prices have increased by a lot. After receiving hard uncooked chips for the second time in a fortnight we've decided to find a new restaurant who can serve soft fluffy chips That are cooked for more than a few minutes. and where food is delivered hot and fresh not warm and reheated.

Worst spare ribs ever. Large Battered pancake roll was beyond disgusting. Who serves battered pancake roll? Greasy and horrible. Foul.

Absolutely shocking. Won't deliver to Hilltop anymore. My money's always been good enough. First of all stopped delivering on the weekend now won't deliver at all!! 1.4 miles away, I could walk that quicker than you can drive to most of Tredegar. Shocking customer service and the foods gone downhill too. 👎
