The best restaurants in Wales

City Road realmente es mi destino cuando estoy por mi cuenta, buscando esa comida rápida y quiero explorar algo un poco diferente. Con unos pocos restaurantes de Oriente Medio para elegir - Castello me llamó la atención y no decepcionó. El personal era muy amable y eficiente - ofreciendo algunos consejos de bienvenida en el menú. Opté por probar las patatas especiadas para empezar y el Cordero Mandi como principal. Ambos llegaron rápido, estaban muy bien condimentados y se lavaron perfectamente con té turco - todo por menos de 20 libras! Sin duda volveremos!

Stopped here enroute to Cornwall for lunch, which was absolutely spot on, staff were friendly and welcoming, and after our delicious lunch decided to have coffee and cake which was fantastic, but my favourite part of the visit was the beautiful Therapy dog the owner had, highly recommended this little gem of a place.

Gran comida de calidad a un precio muy razonable. Sabrosa pasta y recién preparada, ha estado en nuestra lista de “visita obligada” durante mucho tiempo y no nos decepcionó! Muy recomendable si estás en esa parte de la ciudad!

Absolutely lovely county homely pub . Leah and paul are so very welcoming and can’t do enough . There was an outside mobile food event the evening we went but there were no vegetarian options so Leah insisted she do a special dish for me . My vegi burger was the best I’ve ever had and the presentation and sides were fantastic . There was a band playing . Great atmosphere, great pub , well worth eating there . We will be back ❤️

Buonissima!!!! My family came over from Italy to visit us. And guess where I took them for dinner? In Three cockspur to combine excellent pizza and great beer from Antur Brewery. Well, it was a success. Zis Giustina's comment was "It's even better then some pizzas I had in Italy. The base it's excellent and you can really tell they use truly genuine ingredients! Bravissimi."

The best matcha iced frappe I've had, the cup is aslo so cute! You even get a cute bubble tea keychain when you spend £15! The place overall is so cute and the lady that served us was very kind and helpful. I have dietary needs and they had milk alternatives and even diary free cream! I will be definitely coming back my new favourite bubble tea place

We were visiting Llandudno for the day and we’re looking for food. We were a bit late in the afternoon and all the hotels had stopped serving food to non guests. A quick Google search and Darcie’s popped up! Upon arrival we were stood outside weighing the place up and a couple came out. The lady said “go in it’s great in there” so we did. Great it was! We were initially greeted by two young ladies. We were very impressed with the warm welcome and their genuine engagement with us. So many times with young staff you feel as if you’re interrupting their chat or social media time but these two enjoyed their work and wanted us to have a great time. It was so refreshing. The food order was taken and it arrived not too long after. Delicious, tasty, nicely presented and appropriately priced. We are vegetarians and there was a good choice at Darcie’s. We can’t highly recommend it enough and we will be back for sure. Thank you all for a pleasant food experience

Havent had one in awhile and it didn’t fail as usual, stunning as always from here. Can’t wait for my next visit already

Stopped for lunch on a weekend tour of North Wales by bike. Warm welcome, a very friendly waitress who didn’t mind us spreading out with all out kit and made sure we were comfortable. Food came quickly and was lovely. Enjoyed our visit very much. Thank you.

Fantastic food by the chef, did not expect quality food like that but it superseded my expectations massively of what a non central restaurant could be! Chef also went out of his way to help my family find the ablutions and pay at the till, jack of all trades.

First time visit today and was very impressed, beautiful corned beef pie which was big, and my wife said her salad and pasta was very nice, thoroughly recommended and that's before eating the custard slice

Staying at the Celtic Royal again we decided to treat ourselves! Slightly put off by seemingly expensive menu but the portions were amazing and food cooked to a really high standard. And then, the puddings! Amazing choice and absolutely delicious! We’ll be back - I hope!

I absolutely love their roast pork bap with everything on it. Whenever we have a group in town, we make a point to stop here. Excellent baps, excellent pork, stuffing, sautéed onions, applesauce make for an excellent dining experience! They have good sandwiches to order and pastries as well.

A great find, the factory shop is fabulous value offering large cakes pies cheesecakes etc at greatly reduced prices. Some cakes may be damaged but we've had lots which have been good to serve to friends and family. Take your freezer bags as the cakes are all frozen this will hopefully allow you to pop them in the freezer once you're home
