The centre is run by vouleunteers and offer a warm welcome to all.. The food is freshly prepared and very tasty. The portion size will not dissapoint either Tea, coffee and cakes are fab too. The centre is in the middle of town, so easily accessible when shopping or out and about. All the volunteers work incredibly hard and are very dedicated. Nothing to fault. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.., 👍🏻

We found the cafe when we were walking down the street and decided to try it out. Even though they were closing shortly we were welcomed warmly and given a great menu. The prices are very cheap. The food was fresh and delicious and my children loved it (as did we)! It's really easy to miss and is only open on Wednesday so try it out!

We (family of 3) visited on 4 July (see facebook) and could not believe our eyes when we walked into The Clock Tower on Market Way in Carmarthen. This place was a paradise for hungry vegans serving pizza, pasties, cakes, cupcakes, biscuits, chocolates etc. The variety and choice was quite overwhelming. You have to visit Absolute Treats to get an idea of how much different types of food there are here. There are a wide range of flavours to suit all palates, so get on down there. Well worth a visit and check out their website. :)

I do not cook at all when The Penny Black is open ! I feel really sorry for cafes and restaurants like this ! It's not their fault that they are unable to open up at the moment still ! The Post office is an integral part of the Burry Port community and as such will have struggled to retain their loyal clientele! Not everyone is,driven by price but as I intend to eat there 3 or 4 times a week , still, I'm very grateful that the prices are priced really realistically , as I'm single and only on my works pension, still ! Lol x Thanks for all the care the staff gave given me since moving to Burry Port/ Pembrey. South Wales. Th

Only came across this hidden cafe with a community spirited hostess on our way back to South Wales & were smitten by how friendly and accommodating they were. If anyone in your group has a hidden need, for example avoiding cafes with a cabinet full of coca cola cans, Croes y Ceiliog at Llanwrda has the solution, making you feel like a family member. Their tasty home made food too = return visit a definite!
