The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Wales

Don't be put off by bad reviews and dated interior. Being Chinese food mad, I was craving my favourite chicken satay and egg fried rice whilst on a mini break. Had to wait 20 minutes for the food to be cooked from fresh but all good things come to those who wait. It was delicious and plenty of it, I was really happy as satays can taste so different from different takeaways but this was really tasty and just perfect.

Try to avoid, or be cautious of what you buy. I bought a seafood fried rice a few days back and spent 3 days in hospital. Don’t recommend at all.

We ordered the mixed appetisers, beef chow mein and the box of 3 chicken balls, crispy beef and egg fried rice... Appetisers were really really good, only disappointment was the satay sauce it was more like watery curry. Crispy beef and rice was tasty. Chicken balls were yummy but soggy from the crispy beef sauce, would have been better if they were in a separate paper bag (they weren't greasy just soggy). The beef chow mein made me feel nostalgic 🥹 I haven't had a chow mein so delicious since I was a child and reminded me of family takeaway nights with a rented vhs 🥰 Will definitely be ordering again, hopefully not all the sauces are disappointing and the satay sauce improves. Also was nice to have the option to pay in cash on delivery as not many places do that nowadays.

Absolutely dreadful. I ordered the chicken curry with egg fried rice and Szechuan pork. The chicken curry was devoid of flavour and the pork was extremely salty with absolutely no Szechuan flavour at all. Extremely disappointing and I know it was a Sunday evening but it could quite possibly be the worst Chinese takeaway food I have ever had. Awful

Dreadful. Just dreadful. Never again. Gets takeaways a bad name. Shocking. Ignorant delivery guy too. Just threw change into my house.

Absolutely delicious takeaway on New Years Eve. Delivered quickly, food still piping hot, everything there with a free drink thrown in. It’s really close to the centre and to the station too. Diolch yn fawr!

We love Tak Bo! After being gluten free since a young child I have always missed out on takeaways, but after discovering Tak Bo offer vast gluten free options and are extremely accommodating we have been repeat customers for a while! Food is always hot, fresh and on time from when we have ordered. Staff have even been incredibly helpful when I have accidentally ordered the wrong item! Thank you Tak Bo :)

Great food, friendly staff and a great selection of dishes. The staff are always happy to accommodate, and remove or add items to dishes.

Arrived here after being turned away at fu house for not having cash. Good value, quick service would recommend.

Have been expecting my order between 8.05 and 8.25pm, it arrived at 8.45pm. It was also incomplete.

Ordered via food hub app est delivery time 35 mins (according to app).....2 hours and 2 phone calls to find out when food would arrive 2nd phone call was to cancel but told driver was 2 mins away Order for chow meins were both wrong and item missing from order Food is tasty but would advise you to collect yourself

Ordered and with 10/15 mins it was delivered, piping hot and very delicious will order again

Rather annoying since the new owners have taken over . I have always chosen here but there is very much a communication issue , every week , always something wrong with order . Tonight again . Very simple , no peas in curry lots of onions . 20 minutes home , all peas no onions ! So annoying . Shame but will more than likely go elsewhere in future .
