Excellent food and the best I've had in the area for sure. Did take over an hour to prepare the food and were running late. Worth the wait though. Recommend ordering early.

Always a great meal, sometimes a wait because they are busy and the best Chinese around by far. Never disappointed by our meals.

Visiting the area ,decided to have a Chinese, there was a mix up, waiting in the shop for a hour to have our Chinese forgot we were waiting in the shop for our order but I must say it was well worth the wait the Chinese was absolutely stunning and I would recommend it to anyone visiting but be aware it’s a very popular Chinese and you will have to wait while

Delicious food freshly cooked - we were in Newcastle Emlyn and decided to get a takeaway. Super Garden had just opened there was a 45 min wait as the food was cooked to order (probably better to phone order through) It was delicious, and we would not hesitate to visit again.

I would NEVER go again the food was reheated and the mojoirty had black hair in and there was a cat in the kitchen which was being stroked whilst wearing the glove's she was cooking in!!! Absolutely filth!!! I would rather set fire to my money then return.

basic service and long waits on takeaway but hey they are honest about it - the food is fantastic, me and the missus wholly recommend the Pork in chilli and Garlic - amazing. Chips arent the best but the food overall is stunning, if you want chips....go to a chippy!

I am never disappointed when I visit, super fast and friendly service and always super yummy food! I don't go anywhere else, would highly recommend it!

So after ordering food at 5.30pm they told me it would be ready for 7.00! 47 minits later after waiting and not even a sorry! I then drove home with my food to find they had forgotten 2 dishes. So I called and they asked if I wanted to come back to collect it but I was home by this point and they told me they cant refund me. The lack of communication there is a joke I was offers someone else’s food at one point still really upset about the whole thing I’d never visit again!

I can not believe it the food is getting better and better you have to try it . You won’t be sorry service with a smile

The care this chef puts in to his work is unbelievable! I can understand why sometimes there is a wait as its freshly made and made to order. Absolutely stunning food. Love the pork..salt n pepper chips 'less hot' :) Brilliant staff!!!!! The best

Tasty Chinese food, well prepared, hot and fresh and thoroughly enjoyable. We ordered two weeks running and the quality was consisently good.

We have had a couple of meals from here now, we tried different dishes each time. We enjoyed everything we had, and found the service excellent, very friendly and helpful on phone and when collecting the food. Having been dissapointed by other Chinese closer to home, this will now be where we go in future!

I go for take away about once every 4 or 5 weeks, usually have the same dishes which are always consistent. Never had a bad meal from here, tasty and fresh. Singapore noodles is lovely, sweet and sour chicken never greasy and salt and pepper chicken are the usual order. Would recommend to locals or visitors

We travel about 7 miles to use this Chinese. Friendly staff and family run business. Food is always clean. Occasionally meat portions are small in box but the taste is always great. Glad they are here

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the place is attractive enough and looked clean. Although there was nothing particularly wrong with the food it was just...average.

We live opposite and have a takeaway once a week. We have tried out a few things and will try more. Our visitors get a Chinese . Fast and efficient

We have several Chinese take always near us in Llandysul, Lampeter, Aberporth, Aberaeron and Newcastle Emlyn. We haven’t used this one for some time and when we used it a couple of weeks ago we were pleasantly surprised to find the food was really good. We decided to go back again tonight, but we were very nearly put off by the two most recent reviews. Glad we decided to chance it because the food we had was really good. Can’t vouch for anything else but I will say the Beef in Black Bean Sauce was excellent (although I would say it is slightly hot ..... but there isn’t a chilli next to it on the menu) The Singapore Fried Rice was also very good..... but the outstanding item was the chicken balls in batter which were outstanding. The only thing I would slightly criticise was the Egg Fried Rice ..... it was Fried Rice but there was a distinct lack of egg! Apart from that .... I would definitely recommend .... so don’t know quite what went wrong with the two recent visits that are on this website. Certainly try it. We’ll be back for sure!

People say so many good things about this place. ! All I can say is there must be some serious bad takeaways in this country. It’s awful and that’s that’s being kind! Do not pass go do not collect £200 and go Straight to Aberporth were the Chinese is fantastic and always will be. Our curry was half mushrooms half some kind of I don’t no meet. Chips hard and tasteless.Even the old favourite chicken balls small greasy with a bright red cold glue like sauce! Plain rice was ok. And we waited over an hour for this! Will not be going again. Aberporth=Great. Henry’s = Good. Super Garden=Bad.

I bought a take-away from here which was a mixture of chinese foods and a chips etc. When I got home I found that the chips were literally inedible - why on earth would any take-away still sell chips that were clearly warmed up, probably from the day before, rather than cook fresh.They were disgusting and it spoilt what should have been a nice meal - either lazy or penny pinching there is not excuse for doing this !

First time visit due to other Chinese being closed , but we were very impressed al food perfect , Thankyou very much

This was our second visit to the area and we couldn't leave without a Super Garden Chinese meal. Still very impressed. Good fresh ingredients and a really tasty meal. Well priced too. Wish we lived closer so this could be our regular haunt.

We stopped off at this Chinese takeaway on the last evening of our holiday in Pembrokeshire. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. I couldn't believe how good the food tasted and we will definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

Had another family meal, while on holiday near Llandysul. The take away was cooked perfectly. Well worth dropping by. Even better than some of my local Chinese restaurants in North Cheam

Always go to this chinese for my takeaway, lovely food, my son always has crispy duck in plum sauce, only place i've had it from where the duck is actually crispy & not fatty.

Called there on the off-chance to try a new takeout restaurant. The hostess was very friendly and was keen to show us the cleanliness of the kitchen. The food was tasty and priced the same as other local restaurants. The only thing to bear in mind is that it is cash only. However, there are cash points nearby.

Recently moved to area, so visit based on trip advisor reviews. The meal we had was very good and excellent value for money, the chicken fried rice was the best ever from a take away.

Have not had a take away for a long time but after a hectic day took the plunge. Meal ready on time and nice and hot. I have to say that this was the best Chinese take away we have had for a long time. Soup, ribs, two mains and rice. We will be back. Thankyou.

Ordered a takeaway from here on a weekend break at a converted barn locally. Must sat it was quite good and the portion sizes generous. Nice chicken curry, crispy beef and a massive portion of battered pork balls. The egg fried rice and boiled rice not too dry and a free helping of prawn crackers. Excellent and polite service and only a 15 minute wait, very good value for just over £24.

Love this Chinese for the simple fact the variety, freshness and service is always on point. The food doesn't all taste the same, it's cooked to order and is always enjoyable. Would love this place to have seating and be a restaurant.

Staying in the local area, we originally wanted to order an Indian but arrived to find it closed. After a drive around this was one of the very few establishments open on a Monday. We ordered half a crispy duck, chicken in black bean, chips and special noodles. 20mins later we collected and drove back to our accommodation. We noticed a bitter/oily smell on the way back and as we dished up, we realised it was from the chips. They were really bitter and tasted of old oil. The duck certainly was crispy, a lot of it inedible with the plumb sauce so thick it tore the pancakes when trying to spread it. The chicken in the black bean sauce was chewy and slimy and There seemed very little difference in flavour of the sauce used for the black bean and special noodles, it was all just very gloopy and sickly sweet.

Was recommended to this take away by a fellow guest while staying in Pentrecagal, the menu choice was extensive and the quality and portion sizes excellent, will visit again.

Rang through & picked up on way home from work. Simply great food, great take away. Would recommend.

We are staying in the area and fancied a Chinese so there seemed to be a choice between this one and the China Kitchen. We chose the Super Garden based on TripAdvisor reviews and are pleased we did. The service was excellent and the gentleman who served us was extremely polite and very friendly. The seafood special chow mein was something you don't see on the average menu and I made the right decision. It was really tasty with lots of seafood. Delicious.

Tried Super Garden after finding out it was under new management.... it was really worth going back. Food was the best chinese I've had in Wales. Lots of layers of flavours. Great singapore rice noodles and the best crispy shredded beef ever! Will definitely be returning

Was recently on holiday here and came across this little gem. We visited 3 times and to be honest I think we became addicted. Fresh food, friendly service. A young family run the place and they deserve every success. Wonderful food!

Amazing food the new cook is a top chef that worked in London at a five star hotel and his wife. They have totally cleaned this place up . The doors are all open for all to see how clean everything is . And the dish 108 Cantonese sweet and sour is our favourite it's soo good and chicken fried rice is just perfect . And the bbq spare ribs the meat is so tender and no fat on them the meat just melts in your mouth!!! Thank you super garden is really as it says Super !!! The food never disappoints. Xx

Having tried all the Chinese cuisine around the West Wales area nothing comes close. Absolutely superb Chinese food best takeaway i have had in years!

The Chinese takeaways in Newcastle Emlyn were very lack lustre and we had given up trying to have any kind of purchased Chinese meal close to home. Then I read that Super Garden had been refurbished with new ownership and that the food was highly rated. People were also saying there was plenty of choice for vegetarians. Well, none of that was wrong. The strange waiting area had been cleaned and emptied of all the toys and stuff that had clogged it up, with plenty of seating for customers. The lady on the till was really friendly and helpful and the wait wasn't too long. The bag felt very heavy, and we had spent less than £20! When we got home the food was piping hot and so delicious. So many different vegetables, with gorgeous textures and crunch, well cooked rice and noodles and delicious sauces - no day goo orange in sight! Star of the show was the satay vegetables - creamy peanut sauce with a chilli kick was perfect.Thoroughly recommended for all reasons - I hope they do really well - they deserve to.

It was our second choice of Chinese as the other had a 1.5 hour wait, food was ok. We normally buy enough to make 2 meals out of it but this time we never eat the second half as I never really fancied having it which is unusual. Food looked and smelt good but that's where it ended, just wasn't full of flavour and one of the dishes had a bit of excess water in. I would go again but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Don't usually come here to eat but had no choice one night as everywhere else was busy. Waited for over 45 mins for the food. But when it came it was good. Wouldn't say it was the best i'd had but it was edible. The waiting area is a bit shoddy and could do with a spot of decorating. I felt as though I was sitting in their front room.

We recently visited Newcastle emlyn to see family and ordered food for five people from here. The reception is clean the staff lovely and friendly. The new owners have just taken over so please do visit again. The peking duck was the best we have ever tasted, sweet & sour chicken was beautiful, all dishes were well packaged, piping hot and enjoyed by every one. My family who live local say the food was better then the other establishment in the area & they will be using the super garden from now on. I only wish we lived closer !

I'm not a big fan of most the chinese restaurants in west wales. But this one is easily best of a bad bunch. Our food has always been good from here rather than the usual slop you get from most the other nearby ones.

Staying recently in nearby Cenarth we decided to try a take away from this Chinese. Having been told we were second in the queue and the food would be about 20 minutes, we then waited for 45 minutes with no explanation. When the food finally arrived it was awful. It ended up in the bin as none of us could eat it. We eat Chinese take away quite frequently and this was the worst we have ever had. There was a lot of shouting coming from the kitchen while we waited so there might have been some difficulties, but we will definately never waste our money here again.

Only went to this place because the other Chinese takeaway was closed. This place is not a patch on the other Chinese in Newcastle Emlyn. I am being kind in calling the place average. The place does not look the cleanest and with kids toys everywhere. Food very average, my wife would not eat hers.I will not be returning as I did not like the place or the food at all. If the other Chinese is closed again - fish and chops or Indian it will be.

Had a take away for our family of 4. Prices about correct for a Chinese.The food was cooked well and was fine to eat.Being a tourist to the area, I am used to a million Chinese places to choose from near where I live, which I prefer. However it was an ok meal.

We always go to this Chinese takeaways over others in the area. The food is always delicious and I don't think I've ever had anything that I didn't enjoy. Normally they give you free prawn crackers or free poppadoms if you order over a certain amount, which is a nice touch. Now the credit card machine is in place, it's a much better system.

The food wasn't good, the chicken in the dishes didn't taste like chicken and the meals generally had no flavour. Very disappointing and ended up wasting most of it.

Ewww.... on holiday we decided to try the local Chinese takeaway, £40 later wish we hadn't bothered....tasteless, bland, don't waste your money, go to the nisa supermarket and cook yourself. Have been generous giving 2 and that's only because the prawn crackers were gorgeous.

Having used the original Chinese in Newcastle Emlyn for years we have now switched to Super Garden. Having seen the other review I felt I needed to add my own experience with this takeaway.We have ordered food here on numerous occasions and are gradually working our way through the menu, I am by no means a food connoisseur but do appreciate a well prepared tasty takeaway, this is by far the best Chinese in the area and thus far we have not had a bad meal, so they have been pretty consistent. Out of all the food places in Newcastle Emlyn this should definitely be in your top three places to try.

Ordered a take out last night. 3 time using the take away. Prev two occasions were not successful but they do a dish we like so thought 3rd time lucky. What a waste of £55.00 really. Two dishes were inedible due to over cooked and resulted in chewy/stringy gluten mass. Yuk. Rice was good. Seaweed good. Other dishes had watery sauces and over all the whole meal was very poor standard and quality. Starter of mixed items not wow either Sesame toast, hard, and again chewy.
