Gorgeous meal from here last night great to see Canton back on top!

Never can get a order right second time of trying here will never be going back again

Ordered 1/2 aromatic duck , sweet and sour KP balls, Kung Po Special pancake roll Singapore vermicelli and much more for my birthday it was a great experience!! Food was served on time and tasted lovely. Would recommend

Very good food. Delicious!!!! I would recommend going there everytime you are out!! The aromatic duck is always good! Make sure to get it! Service was nice and food was warm. Go there!!

Food was great . Staff were nice. Quick service. Probably one of the best takeaway I have ever been to this year no doubt I’m coming back in December. I would recommend the aromatic duck as it is very tasty.

Always fab food .been going for years always enjoyable good selection and always quick service . Only CASH payments though do get your money first !!

Simply the best Chinese takeaway

Not eaten from here for over a year (time is a great healer), but it was just as bad as I remembered it. If you think this is good you really should get out more. Probably one of the very worst Chinese meals I've ever had. Monmouth deserves better.

I ordered 2 chicken chow mein and 1 prawn balls and other dishes. The cost of the takeaway meal was 38 pounds. The food was totally bland the person on the front desk was very rude to a customer before me. Definitely not having a takeaeay from you again Phoned up to complain but person on the phone was not interested.

It's a takeaway, it does what it's meant to do.

Live local & this is my nearest Chinese & used to be fantastic 20+ years ago . Having not ordered from here for well over 10 years due to numerous bad experiences I had with food quality & rude management. My normal go to Chinese was closed for 2 weeks so thought I'd give them a try again. Unbelievably worse than ever. Chicken fried rice that was tasteless & looked like it had never even seen a wok & was in my opinion just boiled rice & chicken pancake rolls were mush in fact everything & I mean everything we ordered was absolutely abysmal. Also extremely rude staff that will take phone orders & tell you to wait even halfway through taking your walk in order basically allowing someone to push in front of you but this has always been the norm here. I personally will never go in there again unless there's a change of management & ownership.

Lovely chow mein and sweet and sour

Not often I write reviews but felt ripped off here. Hot and sour soup that was not remotely 'hot/pepper' and lacked flavour, lacked content and had no pickled veg in it. Singapore vermicelli, about 99% vermicelli noodles, 1% chicken, a few very tiny cubes of pork and 3 sad prawns! Too much MSG.

I was going to watch a match of football. I was so hungry and decided to order food from this restaurant. After ordering i headed to the restaurant to get my food. When i went in the restaurant the food was already done. When I went home I decided to eat the food .Mmmmmmm it was so delicious especially the egg fried rice, chicken with sweetcorn. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

poor service We ordered a scallion beef stir-fry but received a beef tenderloin Chinese-style. And when I called back to the resutarant, their service attitude was horrible Will not order anymore

I have always found the food to be very good here, probably the best in Monmouth.

the atmosphere was really nice, the staff are polite and the food are served on time. The food are always tasty and cooked to a high standard.

Always had good customer service and food is always good ,can be busy at times so ordering ahead can help.

Twice been her now and not up to much chicken balls are more like chicken nuggets. Had the chow mein no flavour atall and mostly bean sprouts. And pricey

We ordered two pancake rolls two portions of curry sauce and barbecued pork ribs as a takeaway.What a waste of money. Pancakes had any filling , hardly any meat on the ribs and very little sauce that was supposed to be with them. We will not be using Canton kitchen again, very very poor.

Not too bad. Crispy beef could have been a bit cripier and hotter. Lemon chicken was little pieces but used to slices.

Best chinese takeaway in Monmouth in terms of flavours and quality of dishes.

There's only really one Chinese takeaway in Monmouth that delivers on taste imo, they can get a bit overrun on a Friday and Saturday eve and you can be in for a wait (there's a reason they're popular). I always ring the order through before collection, they read the order back on the phone and at the point of collection.

Was told the order would take ten minutes, so drove over from village ten mins away. Was waiting nearly half an hour outside. Nothing offered in apology aside from a "sorry". We gave this place multiple chances over the last year, but they always do this, as well as forgetting parts of our order. We even found plastic in our food last time. The service has been shocking for months. Will go to Full House from now on. Wish we'd given up on this place earlier.

- They gave a time on phone but had to wait another 30 mins. - Zero social distancing in waiting area, like they don't care. - Found two strips of plastic in food.

Ordered on telephone at 6pm was told to come collect it at 7 arrived on time was told would be another 5 minutes. 20 minutes later still no sign was told it wouldn't be long another 20 minutes later was told that they hadn't started cooking it yet. The girl on the counter was to busy playing with her phone to even notice.

We’ve been fans of Canton for years. Always fresh, always tasty. There’s a few dishes I’d love to see them add to their menu but what they do, they do really well. Particularly recommend the duck in plum sauce.

Got a takeaway from here whilst on a business trip to the area. It was nice, hat my favourite hot and sour soup x 2, it was ok but not a sour as other places. I would recommend this place, staff are friendly and the food is good

After a very disappointing meal at a previous Chinese, this place saved the day. Lovely food, not full of pointless veg and very tasty. Thumbs up if you’re looking for proper Chinese food.
