Fantastic food and great service.

Ok loved this. Ordering was easy staff were friendly. Delivery was quick and driver lovely. It was reasonably priced. The best thing is the food itself was not oily / greasy. Rice and chicken balls lovely and dry, curry and chow mein tasty and made with decent ingredients. Honestly I couldn’t fault it !

Food was okay. Not as good as my usual takeaway.

Went to dine in on bank holiday Sunday restaurant was very quite, it's not the nicest looking restaurant but the food was very good and the service was freindly all plates cleared

Best Chinese I've ever had - duck and pineapple was delicious, tender meat, juicy and fresh tasting, lovely duck pancakes. And they sell my fave, seaweed! Thank you. Just a shame they don't take card payments...

I must admit, the meal was very poor, to say tasteless is an understatement. The special fried rice was not fried just boiled rice, and the special chow Mein was the worst I have ever had. The curry sauce looked good but completely lacked taste. On the whole very poor and the last time i order from there

Not sure what's happening with Chinese food lately, decided to have Chinese midweek as a treat, so disappointed, just seemed tasteless, so loaded with salt that we all, 2 adults and 3 children were up in the night so thirsty and into the morning. So much salt that this cannot be even close to a healthy option. We have all decided to give Chinese takeaways a miss from now on, £40 wasted in my mind.

This is my regular Chinese take away. Staff always friendly, speed of preparation for collection, or speed of delivery never disappoints. The food is always good, and over the years of having food from them, I think I could count on one hand the number of times I have had an issue of something being left out or the like. When it happens they always remedy the situation satisfactorily. My only negative is not food related, its that they stopped taking card payments.

Just had one of the best kung pao chicken ever.

Would of given it 5* but I love my prawn crackers but the ones I had tonight was yesterday's or a couple of days old really sticky and hard

Nice choice of dishes, prepared to order and quick service. Friendly staff. A good choice of "hot" dishes than they're happy to make "extra hot" if you ask.

We orders chicken wings but salt and peppered breast was delivered. One of the of the worst ribs ever had and the quantity was so little but expensive. CAERWENT aauda chai yaha dekhi nakhanu hai ribs. Saro parla ni feri mahango tara mitho nabhayera.

Had a special curry and a special chow mein off the menu and ended up with salmonella food poisoning after hours of eating it .On day 6 now of salmonella and I've been very ill indeed ,completely ruined a week of my life .Never ever again .

Fancied the set meal for two but one dish the lemon chicken I don't like so asked if I could change for a duck dish which they happily did and the whole meal was great, all to myself with free prawn crackers 👍

Service is quick and friendly and the food tastes great and fresh. Have tried a few different dishes and all have been quite delicious. Really happy to have found this place and that we know where to go to get a decent Chinese. Great Chinese place - its not Debbie’s Red Lantern but the New Red Lantern and totally different owners now. There is parking outside available and there is a cash point right next door if you have forgotten cash as they don’t take cards.

Tried this Chinese for the first time as our regular place we order from doesn't open on a Tuesday .... my suspicions were confirmed, possibly the worst " Chinese " ( if you can call it that) I have ever tasted. No authenticity about the dishes we orderd whatsoever. Think the "chefs" need to take a day trip to China town in London and train their pallets into tasting REAL Chinese cuisine . Steer clear if you know your Chinese !

Guy on the phone said they don't accept card payments even though it says quite clearly on the menu that they do. Had to go elsewhere, not happy!

Lovely food and always a fast friendly service.

Its a chinese take-away and the food is very nice. I've been there four times since it opened and I've had great food (different dishes) every time. I find it a bit on the expensive side but nothing is too much trouble for them so for instance if you want extra beansprouts in your noodles and beansprouts they are happy to comply.

Since the new owners, its gone seriously downhill. Orders are often wrong, sometimes cold.

Quick, reasonably priced, good set meal menu and food was great.

Of all the Chinese takeaways in the area, this has always been our favourite - lovely, light fried rice, tasty mains which are often a little lighter and tastier than the average takeaway. Incredibly speedy service other than at the very busiest periods, and food always fresh and piping hot. Chicken spring rolls are really great, as are the satays and black bean sauce dishes in particular. Now under new ownership, but quality is every bit as good as in Debbie's day, and while some dishes have changed flavour a little, still very good quality.

We've tried all the Chinese takeaways in Caldicot, but keep coming back to this one. The food is always freshly cooked and hot. It's very tasty and the portions are good. Crispy things are crispy and not soggy like some.

Called in for dinner on a saturday night, got a good friendly welcome were shown to a nice table, chairs and tables dressed, had a lovely atmosphere. We chose from the main menu but there were special offers on.food arrived reasonably quickly was hot and tasty.

I have a few times take away orders from this place. It is an amazing experience for chinese food. They offer very big potion and the food quality is very good. Of course, service is good as well. Worth the money!

We had dinner hear on Saturday evening it was absolutely fantastic!! £13.95 all you can eat the staff were amazing, they took your starter order and once you had finished they then take your main course order, with a little message on the back asking for people not to over order. This is a great way of monitoring your order as once you have had your starter you may not want as much as you thought you did originally. The food was so fresh and delicious. Thank you we will be back

Very good Chinese take away. Good quality food and good flavours. Portions are good as well. Doesn't leave you feeling stodged out! Definitely recommend.

Distinctly under average food. Not good on flavour and not the best ingredients wise. I wouldn't use them again and ended up throwing some of the food away. Sorry but I can't recommend this place.

Son works in a butchers and it was he that explained why the spare ribs were not nice - because the are NOT ribs just chopped up extremely cheap and fatty belly pork. Threw both portions away. Lemon chicken was good and rice portions are large.

The good...Portion sizes are very good. Quality of ingredients excellent. Meat very tasty and not fatty...chicken and duck both excellent. Good value as marginally cheaper than others in area. The not so good... My hot n sour soup was not hot... Not as much heat in my sezchuan as expected... Didn't enjoy the Veg spring rolls. This was our first time eating here as we normally go to New Garden, but thought we'd try them after friends recommend. Would I eat from here again...certainly...but only if New Garden was too busy or closed...and that says it all really.

Love it. Best Chinese food around especially love buffet night on a Friday and the white Rioja is out of this world. Service is exceptional and price great too. Don't go enough! Never had one complaint about this place.

This is our Chinese takeaway of choice and we have never had a bad meal. Great choice and quality of food. It always tastes and looks freshly cooked. Reasonable prices. Staff are very efficient and friendly too. Well worth a visit.
