Called six months ago Special curry was all chicken, cheap, no beef, cutting corners on ingredents. Thought I would try again, - Special Foo Young - GREAT!! BUT re heated, re fried chips which were AWFUL STILL CUTTING CORNERS They saved 20p and have now lost two regular customers (up to 6 mts ago) for EVER

Best chinese I have ever had. House special chow mein was delicious, meat quality was excellent, and all polished off. Recommended if you are in the area.

Had a lovely takeaway from here whilst visiting the area. All food was tasty, hot and plentiful. Will definitely pay another visit next time we’re in the area.

Delicious Chinese - best I’ve had for a while: not too sweet, not too salty, not glowing fluorescent with colouring. Very sesame / ginger - just how it should be. Brilliant. Can’t believe I haven’t been before …..

Excellent Chinese Takeaway,large portions food very nice and tasty and very reasonably priced. This is one of the best Chinese takeaways we've ever eaten.

I have been visiting Chinese restaurants and takeaways for the last 55 years, and I can safely say that this is the most appalling standard of cooking I have experienced. Admittedly, we come from Liverpool, a city with a vibrant Chinese community and some of the best Chinese restaurants in the country, but even allowing for that, there is no excuse for this standard of cooking. Sweet and sour sauce is supposed to be more than vinegar-flavoured water, and battered fried king prawns should not be coated with a soft, flaccid covering of cooked dough, awash with grease. On the plus side, the prawn crackers were nice. Most of the rest went in the bin. I have to say that, locally, the place seems to be unaccountably popular, so someone obviously likes it.

Huge portions! A great little Chinese takeout. We had spring rolls, prawn toast, 1/4 duck and veg chow mien, it could serve 4 people. Very friendly service, only downside was it is Cash only.

A very friendly young lady took my order and it was ready within 5 mins - handed over to me with complimentary prawn crackers. After a short drive to our nearby cottage we found the meal to be hot, generously sized and tasty. Spot on!

The people were really nice and friendly. They explained the dishes well, and do mostly a take away business from 5-9 pm. Fine tofu dishes and loved the rice cakes served as an option instead of rice.

Really nice chow mein. Was quick and very very tasty. Would recommend, comes with prawn crackers which was a bonus.

Really happy from start to finish, 2 staff members on counter, both working well together efficiently and very polite. 0ffered to wrap each dish individually in tin foil to keep warm for our drive home and double checked each dish was there in the process. Food brilliant. Only small negatived are that they don't take card but there's a cash point nearby. Don't offerer delivery either but not endbof the world. Would still highly recommend.

Ordered over the phone and the food was ready for collection by the time we drove into town. Good service from two young lads on duty, and the food was standard dishes done very well.

Used this place whilst staying locally. The Jade combo starter was a little too deep fried for me but the crispy duck was very tasty! Satay was a bit plain but Singapore chow mein was very nice. Huge portion sizes!

Our meal for seven worked out at £10 per head for a range of food including crispy duck. Service was friendly and phoned in order double checked for correctness. Food seemed well above average. It was well packed and kept hot when we got home to eat. Only complaint would be this is cash only and we were not told in advance. Luckily we had enough cash to hand.

id like to thank the staff here. especially the young man with glasses who served me! he deserves a raise! the manners and respect coming from him was amazing. was only passing through for something to eat but will definetly visit again if that young man is working! thank you

We called in my son and I after a day in the hills it was packed(always a good sign) and with people constantly dropping in to collect phone orders. Because of this I expected a huge wait but no about 12-15 mins was our time...

I visited not long after the establishment changed hands a couple of years ago and was disappointed then. Some time has passed so I thought I'd try again. Sadly, the Cantonese sauce was disgusting. There are very much better take-away options in Llanrwst.

On our last night of the holiday we had a Chinese take away from Jade 2.

Lovely people and great food. Extremely fast at preparing the food too. We all enjoyed it. Both vegetarian and meat dishes were great. All food was piping hot even after we arrived back at the house.

The best Chinese we've had for a long time! Well worth a visit to this very busy takeaway. We had the set menu for 3 and it was more than we actually needed. Decided to keep the soup for another day. Two starters, three mains with rice and a huge bag of prawn crackers which the dogs love to!

We spent £30+ on a order for 5 people, when we got home we went to eat and dished it up and everything and noticed a small curly black hair stuck to my chicken! I had been trying to ring to tell them for a while but it was engaged when I finally got through I explained, she put me on hold twice for about 5 mins! She then said she gets why I wouldn’t eat the meal the hair was in (sweet and sour chicken) but said she didn’t understand why we wouldn’t eat the other food! She offered a replacement for the sweet and sour chicken but not the others! So £30 pound when as dog food! As soon as I started getting angry she was raising her voice and being very rude she has no idea how to talk to people! Would not recommend it!

We decided to have a Chinese takeaway after climbing Snowdon. We were recommended Jade 2 and we were not disappointed. Very tasty food at excellent prices.well worth the 4 mile drive from Betws-y-coed!

Had a really nice take away from here the night before we had to go home. We had egg fried rice, soft noodles (were awesome) plus a special curry and bbq ribs. Was a really lovely meal. They gave us a free bag of prawn crackers and x2 fortune cookies. It was about £16 if I've remembered right.

We found this on holiday and made two visits. Great portion sizes and the meals you could add rice were good value. We all enjoyed our meals and compared to the same dishes from our local Chinese at home these were much better. Thanks

A good choice of food but average quality. I wouldn't eat here again after finding out they have a hygiene rating of 2 however if this increased I would reconsider.

Después de haber visitado muchos de 'RÁPIDO' a veces comida emporium te o decepcionado en mis próximas visitas. No con Jade 2. La última vez que visité fue en el 2013 y fue fantástico. Mi siguiente visita fue 20 de diciembre de 2016. . . . . Lo que una comida fantástica. No sólo en cantidad de porciones (una comida bastaría dos personas) pero lo más importante es la calidad. . . excepcional. Bien hecho de Jade 2, espero que una visita en mi próxima excursión a Llanwrst/Nebo. Apuestas y mixto.

having tried Chinese food from many places in the UK - this place is definitely one of the best in the UK...! great portions and full of flavor. all dishes we tried had its own distinct taste to it.

We stayed the week in Llanrwst and this was the nicest meal we had (despite this being a takeaway) a little more spicy for a chinese than we're used to in Norfolk but it was one of the best tasting we've had! Reasonably quick service also.

Felt peckish on the way home and spotted this little chinese so decided to pop in and pick up some food.We ordered the bbq ribs and 1/4 duck. Ribs were nice and meaty and very tasty and the duck was delicious, the only down side was i wish we had ordered the 1/2 duck instead!Great food that hit the spot, will be coming again next time we stop in the area!!

Went to this while we stayed at nearby Surf Snowdonia.Service seemed to take an age, with people being servered out of order of arrival and many people apparently given the wrong order.Prices were kind of average, not cheap and not expensive.We ordered prawn toast (good but frozen and deep fried so hard to get wrong?), fried rice (also pretty good), shredded chilli beef (way too hot and spicey - inedible) and special chow mein (nearly ok but some meet fatty and no "chinese veg" in it).Portions were however pretty generous.In fairness the place was really busy as it was a bank holiday Monday so maybe they are better at other times.

Been eating here for years, yes it can be hit or miss (isnt everywhere) but food is never cold, or horrible tasting to a point where i starve! Im a fussy eater and they always go out their way to accommodate what i ask for!

Ordered a Duck in honey & lemon sauce at £6.30. had to pay 30p extra for boiled rice.Most takeaways include chips or rice in the price so bit surprised at that.Plenty of duck and nicely cooked but the sauce had some chunks of pineapple and 2 slice of lemon and that was it. Not exactly exciting but not horrible either. Just think it was a bit pricey compared to other takeaways that produce nicer food.

We ordered a range of dishes for 5 of us to takeaway, and enjoyed the food very much. It was ready in good time, and the order included prawn crackers and fortune cookies. We enjoyed it.

We have had a Takeaway from here a couple of times now. Great value and great food. £28 for three of us and still enough left over for lunch the next day: -) definitely recommend this Takeaway.

Used this takeaway when staying in Betws-y-Coed and was lovely food. Very good value, for three people it cost £25. Food was done in 20 minutes despite them being very busy with lots of people coming and going.

During a recent trip to Llanrwst, we got takeaway from this Chinese restaurant. The food is very good as is the service. We will definitely eat there again.

Very very disappointed .!Local and been using this chinese for years , just spent over £27 on food and had to take the food back as found 3 hairs in my special fried rice and 1 order short.Lady was very reluctant and rude to give my money back but did in the end.Don't bother with this chinese.Last food higene test was 0 so say no more.

Visiting friends and decided to try the place.First experience counter staff was a bit young, english was poor had to explain order not once but many times. When we got home food was luke warm, rice was mushy and noodles very soggy. Not very nice, wont try the place again. Very poor thats why its got 1 star. Also price very expensive compare to other places.

since last year they didn't have their food safety poster up, but when I saw it this year it was 1, but I do know it's a lot to do with filling in paperwork, so my friend and I gave them the benefit of doubt and when there for a takeaway, my friend ordered and paid for her first as I was outside with her dog, and then I ordered mine, the staff were friendly, they said it wouldn't be long so we stood outside, 5 mins later it was ready, when we took it out of the bag at my friends house which was 5 mins away, my friends chips were undercooked, rice was very dry, and her curry sauce was very runny like water,mine on the other hand was nice not excellent, I phoned them straight away about my friends meal, and they asked me to bring it back to the chinese, when I got there, they said they have never had complains before, and they gave me my friends money back, but thats not all, we will never have takeaways from them again.

Inconsistent would be a fair assessment. It seems that every other visit is really good( positive slant!) Not sure they prepare phone orders until you get there.

Had a take out and food was very poor chicken under cooked and also the other day I walked passed the place on the back bit and seen two of the chefs playing with their feet and smoking outside and also seen in the back kitchen with half cooked chicken in a box with no lid on and a lot of noodles aswell very bad hygiene wouldn't eat from their again not good

Greeted by friendly and helpful staff, this is a gem of a take away. The food was excellent. Great choice the only problem was what to choose. The prices were a little higher than my local Chinese, however the portions were bigger, and the food was very tasty.

The best Chinese I have ever had, very fresh and flavours were out of this world.Great value for money and large size portions.We ordered the set meal for 4 and we got everything we wanted the starter was amazing and we all agreed it was the best.The mains were divine and were made fresh to order and cooked very quick.We were shocked at how much detail Jade2 Chinese put in to our order even giving us complimentary fortune cookies and prawn crackers.The staff were also very polite.

Great takeaway portions large, and food tastes lovely.We used this takeaway four years ago when we last holidayed in Wales and its as great now as it was then.

One of the best Chinese take-aways I've come across in years (I can only think of two better and they are both in Peterborough where I used to live).The only thing you have to watch is that they are closed on a Tuesdays.
